Chapter 6

Rider

I drove my car as fast as I could to wherever that voice was calling me from. I reach a house I never saw before, the door open and I see feet sticking out from the doorway. I get out of the car and walk over to it, I feel my eyes widen when saw the long brown hair is covering a girl's face. I kneel and move her hair and gasp, "Aria..." I put my head on her chest and feel her heart still beating. I sigh in relief. I pick her up and carry her to her bed and lay her down and move her hair out of her face more. I look at her more, God she is beautiful. "The more I look at you, I see Blossom." I say and see a chain around her neck.

I raise an eyebrow and pull the chain when I see a crystal shine in the light. I drop the necklace and step back. "No... No... That can't be." I hit Aria's vanity which makes a noise that wakes up Aria. She opens her eyes and looks at me. "Rider..." She slowly gets off the bed and stands by it for a few just looking at me. I don't know what she is going to do. It surprises me when she ran to me and hugs me. I throw my arms in the air, scared to touch her. Not till I heard her cry.

"Oh Rider, it was awful! I was almost killed... By a headless horseman!" She yells and I couldn't stop myself from hugging her. "Aria... I..." I didn't know what to say, Ember's little pet was right, I did come here. I look around, her house was trashed. The door was broken down; a knife was lying on the ground. Aria was small but perfect for a one person house. It was a small bedroom, one bathroom and a kitchen, that's it. "I dream about you." She says which catches me by surprises. "What?" I say. She sighs and looks up at me. "I've... Dreamed about you." She says. She grabs my hand and takes me to her bed. We sit down and she looks at her hands then she moves her hand up and touches her necklace. "I come to this small town because, I dreamed of a boy with long black hair, dark blue eyes."

I was trying not to show any emotions, which is easy even if I do remember what emotions are. She was describing me, as Sebastian. She laughs, "I don't know why I was dreaming about him, I didn't know who he was but he only said one thing before I wake up." She looks at me; I can see her dark blue eyes turning darker from the tears building up. "What did he say?" I ask. She did a small smile, "Sleepy Hollow." I couldn't stop my eyes from widen. "That's why I came here, and I ran right into you right when I got into this town. And you look just like the guy from my dream."

She grabs my hand, "You are the guy from my dream, aren't you?" I don't know what to say, I don't know what to do, what is happening. I see a tear fall. "Tell me!" She yells and I feel something burning in my chest and I couldn't stop myself, "Yes, I am." Aria had a control over me, stronger than Ember's control. She lets go of my hand, "Tell me who and what you are, now!" She yells. I feel that burning myself, I knew nothing was going to stop me from telling her everything.

"My real name is Sebastian Mills; I've been alive since the 1600's." I say and Aria has no emotions. I continue, "I meet this girl name Blossom Hollows, she was the daughter of the man who found this town and was the mayor of it. And I loved her, God I loved her so much. She was beautiful and sweet." I look at Aria, "And you look just like her. And I am drawn to you." I see a sigh escape her lips. "Do you want me to stop?" I ask. She shakes her head, "No, go on, please." I nod.

"Blossom and I become very close, and I was going to ask her to marry me but that night, I was poisoned or roofied or something but I was knocked out before I could ask her. When I woke up, I was chained to a wall, in a dungeon." I sigh remembering what happened to me. "There was a witch who lived in our town, her name is Ember Tassel." I see her eyes widen, "Is she the girl who I meet, who had this... Control over you?" I nod, "Yeah, and she has this control over me because." I look deep in her eyes, "She has my heart. And my head." I say.

I see a confused look on her face, "As in like you love her? That's how she has your heart and you crazy for her and that's how she has your head?" She asks and I shake my head, "No, I mean, she put a curse on me; she took my heart out of my chest and put it in chest and put it in a frozen fire. And my head... I don't know where my head is at." I look at my ring, "This ring will let me be in somewhat control of myself, but it's also a way for Ember to call for me. I have this head because of this ring."

I look at her and then she starts to laugh which gives me a confusing looking. "You want me to believe that? You must be joking?" She lends back on the bed, "I mean come on, you're like a thousand years old, that bitch has your heart and head and I look like your dead girlfriend? You really want me to believe that." I couldn't stop my angry as I jump on top of her and pin her down, "I KILLED YOU! I KILLED YOU BLOSSOM!" I yell and I see fear go into her eyes. I close my eyes, "She made me kill you, and I am the legend of sleepy hollow." I open my eyes to see Aria looking at me, "I am the headless horsemen."

Her eyes widen as she tries to push me off but I pin her down more. "You almost killed me!" She yells at me. "Ember controlled me to! And I didn't!" I move my left hand and grab her necklace, "And I think it's because of this." I hold the necklaces up higher, "My necklace? But... How? I just found that necklace when I come into this town." She asks. I drop the necklace and move closer to her, our faces inches from each other, "Because that was the necklace I was going to give to Blossom before I was cursed, that was her engagement necklace."
