SM Rookies
About a month passed since Lina began as a trainee, and she was added to the SM Rookies group. She was introduced to the others in that group. There was Taeyoung, Chittaphon, Yoon-oh, Yuta, Donghyuck, Jeno, Johnny, Jisung, and Mark. She was the only girl but she was fine with it. Lina enjoyed hanging with all of them, even if she keep her distance with most of them. She was always the first to arrive and welcome the rest of them since she wasn't coming from school. Lina thought the bunch of boys were an interesting group.
Taeyong was a motherly type of person. He often worried about the rest of the group. Lina couldn't help but be slightly amused by it. He even cooked a bit for the other members.
Chittaphon was the dance machine of the group. He always was practicing dance whenever Lina saw him. He had a real talent for it.
Yoon-oh was the cute boy. He always acted cute.
Yuta was the only Japanese member of the group. He always considered himself the manly mountain man. He came from Osaka.
Donghyuck was the bouncy, energetic, mischievous one. Whenever Lina saw him, he was always annoying someone and trying to be cute. She couldn't help but have a ghost of a smile flicker across her face whenever she saw him.
Jeno was the cool cuddly type. He was always tagging along with other group members and hugging them. Except for Lina, she'd always whack him on the head.
Johnny was also from America. He was from Chicago. So whenever they actually conversed, they would talk in English most of the time.
Jisung was a pretty cool boy. He didn't like being cute, but regardless he was a fluff ball. He was the maknae of the group. Jisung was about 6 months younger than Lina and they became friends, when they just sat and talked about their hyungs fooling around.
Mark was also a friend of Lina's. Mark would often talk about random stuff with her, and she would listen.
The boys were fond of Lina even though she was distant and emotionless most of the time she was with them. They found comfort in her presence, and they could always rant to Lina without worrying about anything.
The first time they all saw a human side to Lina was when Donghyuck played a prank on Mark. It was a really funny prank. Everyone was laughing hard, including Mark. They all quieted down when they heard a laugh they weren't familiar with. It was a deep, quiet laugh but it was there. Everyone turned to the back of the room where Lina was sitting with her notebook open. What they saw next surprised them, she was laughing with a small smile on her face. "Wow Lina-hyung isn't an emotionless robot." Commented Jisung. Lina hated anything girly so naturally she called the older boys hyung and in return the youngest called her hyung as well. The others were just shocked. Lina hadn't been one to share her emotions with her group mates, but here she was laughing. She stopped laughing when she saw everyone was staring at her and returned to her notebook with a slight blush dusting her cheeks. Then it hit the rest of the boys, she was embarrassed.
"Aaaw is our dongsaeng embarrassed." Cooed Taeyong. "Shut it." She replied, as the boys laughed once again. Lina looked up at the group, glad they were having fun.
New members even joined the SM Rookies group. There was Jaemin, Taeil, Kun, Sicheng, and Doyoung.
Jaemin is another happy go-lucky member. He always enjoys acting cute for everyone. He also tended to be very flirty.
Taeil is the oldest of the group. He is a really good vocalist and hits high notes really well.
Doyoung was the comic relief. He would always joke around and try to get the members to laugh.
Kun and Sicheng were Chinese members. Lina surprised them when she talked in Chinese with them. She told them she was also Chinese. Over time Sicheng and Lina became pretty close. Lina would always help him and Kun with learning Korean. Sicheng was the obliviously cute one. And Lina couldn't help silently laughing when no one was looking.
During the course of when more members joining, Lina slowly but surely opened up. She smiled, laughed, and communicated with the other members a little bit more than she usually did. Which still wasn't very often, but it was a start. The members were really happy about it and encouraged her. The problem was that Lina was really good at hiding her emotions so they often couldn't tell when she was feeling down. She often pushed herself to the brink for the SM Rookies. Even though she was only a teenager, she worked tirelessly as Lina and Mystery. None of the members knew that she lived on the streets. As far as Mark knew she had lived on the streets in the past, but he didn't know about the present. What he didn't know wouldn't hurt him.
The SM Rookies all cared about each other in their own way.
