Fighting Hate Part 2
Everyone in NCT was freaking out. They had no clue where Mahina went because she left her phone in the practice room. Jisung hadn't moved from the practice room. He was ashamed of what he did. He never should've lashed out at Mahina. Then they wouldn't have had to been like this.
Mahina on the other hand was pushing through the crowd her vision blinded by her tears. She eventually collided with another girl. The other female landed on the ground with an oomf. It was in a mostly quiet part of town.
Mahina quickly wiped away her tears and held out her hand to help the girl up. The stranger grabbed it and nodded her head gratefully. The girl's brown orbs locked onto Mahina's glassy ones.
Mahina didn't know the girl at all, but as soon as the stranger opened her arms Mahina rushed into them and hugged her. Tears started free falling again. The female never said anything, she just kept Mahina in her embrace. Even when Mahina's knees gave out, the female caught her and knelt on the ground with her.
Nothing was said, until the strange female just quietly started singing. Mahina recognized it as Seventeen's Don't Wanna Cry.
"You wanna talk?" The girl asked softly to Mahina when she finally calmed down enough.
Mahina looked at the older female, "My best friend and I got into a huge fight. He said some things I told him in secret to another friend of mine. It felt like a punch- a really hard hard punch." The older female barked out a laugh. "Why are you helping me anyways?" Mahina asked. "I'm a stranger. A nobody."
The girl hummed. "My friends say that I'm like a star that can be used to light the way. So, if someone needs a shoulder to cry on I try to be there. My friends and I sometimes get in fights that blow out of proportion, so I do know how it feels. And it's always when we are tired. Every time." She rubbed Mahina's shoulder. "I bet whoever your friend is, regrets what they did. But, your probably worrying your friends even more by running off." The girl took the hair clip she had been wearing and put it in Mahina's hair. "Whenever you need strength just draw it from there."
Mahina stood up, the stranger following. "Thank you." She said bowing.
The other female chuckled. "No need to thank me Mahina, anytime." The mysterious girl started walking off in the other direction as she answered a call from her phone. "Yea? Yes, I'm coming. I just had to help a friend."
When the female disappeared from view, Mahina started running it back to the SM building.
She burst through the entrance after showing herself to the security. She burst back into the dreamies practice room finding only Jisung still sitting there. At the creak in the door, the boy locked eyes with the girl.
Nothing was said, if someone not from the group walked in they'd think that the pair was having a staring contest. But, in reality there were unspoken words passing between them.
Sadness.
Worry.
Apologies.
And most of all.
Forgiveness.
