Orange, Brown and Red!

One year later.. (Arshi - 7 year old)
Gupta Mansion
Saturday morning

"Hayree NK! Where's this Sanki now? All her friends have arrived and she's nowhere to be seen," Buaji muttered to herself, hiting her forehead as eyes roamed the living room of their house, filled with innocent looking and cute yet trouble maker and chatterbox kids.

Starting to feel the symptoms of an headache due to noise coming from the living room, Buaji sighed and rushed to the kitchen where she found Garima happily cooking for lunch to feed those chatterbox friends of her already crazy and ten times more talkative niece, Khushi, so that they would get more energy to play around the house and increase her headache.

"Hey Garima.. You should feed karela to these annoying kids today so that they shut their mouths once and for all," Buaji said vengefully.

Garima giggled, shaking her head in disbelief, as she continued kneading the pizza dough for the kids lunch, "Jiji app bhi na.. They're just innocent and cute kids. What have they done to you?"

"Innocent!" Buaji chuckled sarcastically, "My head is exploding because of them Garima! And even though I want to rest, they won't let me do it peacefully because when they start with their hide and seek game, they will definitely find their way to my room as well. I know these pests!"

"Did you just call me a pest Buaji?"

Garima and Buaji paused to turn and take a look at Arnav standing behind them at the entrance of the kitchen, with a small frown adorning his forehead, an offended look for being called a pest!

"Aree Chote bitwa.. not you! I'm talking about those friends of Khushi," Buaji shook her head, explaining, "You're Titaliya's most sensible friend. Sometimes I wonder how did you end up being her best friend?"

"Well, she needed a sensible friend to handle her sankiness," Arnav shrugged as he approached them, looking up at Buaji, "But you could have specified that you're talking about Khushi's friends except me, by generally addressing her friends, you're also including me in the list of those annoying bunch of kids, Buaji!"

Buaji almost gasped, widening her eyes at Garima, who chuckled softly and shifted her attention back to her task, already used to this young adult kid, Arnav Singh Raizada's antics.

"Okay.. okay.. Next time I'll be careful," Buaji sheepishly smiled at him.

Arnav nodded, now shifting his attention to Garima, "Garima aunty, where's Khuhi? We are waiting for her."

"She must be in her room beta. Can you please go to her room and call her downstairs? I don't know what this madam is doing to make her friends wait for her so long," Garima sighed.

"Sure aunty," Arnav nodded obediently as he left the kitchen to check on Khushi.

Garima hurriedly instructed the maid to chop the vegetables properly, then glanced at Buaji, "Jiji will you help me with the sweets? Khushi wanted her friend to taste our homemade jalebis."

"Aree Garima it's not necessary to fulfill this Sanki's every demand. She's just a kid, she'll get so busy playing with her friends that she'll forget she ever asked you to make jalebis for her friends. Trust me, don't stress yourself," Buaji immediately came with an excuse to escape getting her hands into the kitchen works, "And.. I think my headache is getting worse. I need rest, can you please send meds and a glass of water to my room with a servant?" she added, holding her head and squinting her eyes dramatically for the headache effect.

Before Garima could open her mouth to say something, Buaji hurriedly get her legs on work to escape from the kitchen.

Garima sighed, staring at her disappearing figure, complaining annoying to herself, "No one is ever ready to help in this house. Shashi went to spend time with his friend. Payal is busy with her homework. Jiji is running away from me. Only I'm left to handle Titaliya and her friends."

"Don't worry madam.. I'm here to help you," Kanta, the maid, smiled sweetly.

Garima smiled back relieved to hear this from the person who helps her with most of the household chores. She would be forever grateful to have a woman like Kanta at home who is completely dedicated to her work, making her house always look clean and shiny.

************************************

Arnav reached at the door of Khushi's room, he knocked it twice, calling out for her, "Khuhi!"

Within seconds, she opened the door for him, with a tensed look painted on her tiny face, "Nav come here!"

He was dragged by her into her room and she closed the door behind, turning to look at him worriedly, "Is everyone here already?"

"Yeah.. everyone is here Khuhi.. waiting for you downstairs.. that's why I had to come here to call you," Arnav replied.

"NK too?" she bit her nails nervously.

Arnav fumed, "I said everyone Khuhi.. If NK is not listed in everyone's category to you, then I guess he might come under the someone very special's category to you, right?"

"Nav stop eating my brain with your mind-made categories," Khushi threw a glare to him, walking back to her closet to explain the problem to him, "Me, NK and his sister, Sheetal had decided that we would wear orange  clothes today. But the problem is, I only have one orange dress and it's looking loose on me as if I tried Jiji's dress and not mine. I fear NK will be upset with me if I wear a dress of another color. What should I do now Nav?"

"Serves you right, for not informing me that you had decided a dress code with your special-friends group for this get-together," he mocked her, feeling jealous while taking a seat on her bed, narrowing his eyes at her.

"If I had told you, you would never have gone along with NK's idea. It wouldn't make any difference to you, that's why I didn't think it was important to share it with you," Khushi said.

"It's good that you know I would never come dressed like a pumpkin to your house. I'm ASR!" he rolled his eyes, "But still, I would have liked it if you shared this piece of useless information with me. I believe we're best friends.. and friends share everything with each other Khuhi!"

"See how you're mocking me now. If I had told you before, then you newspaper ki dukaan wouldn't stop till I feel ridiculous to have agreed with NK's idea," Khushi pointed her index finger to him accusingly, showing him how he reacts to her ideas.

"You would feel ridiculous because it is a ridiculous idea!" he shrugged nonchalantly.

Khushi gritted her teeth, getting irked by him now, "Nav I called you here to help me!"

"You didn't call me Khuhi. I came here alone," he smirked, teasing her.

"Fine.. then leave, if you don't want to help me," Khushi said, pointing at the door.

Arnav sighed, getting up from her bed, he walked to her closet, standing beside her while taking a look at her clothes, "You should wear that red dress now."

Khushi followed his gaze, resting on her red dress with flowery prints, "It's one of my favorites too..  but NK.."

Arnav rolled his eyes seeing her face fall because of the idiot NK who came up with dress code for three people only, "Khuhi just wear this dress quickly and come downstairs. Your friends are waiting for you. You don't want Garima aunty to come here and scold you for making your friends wait for you, right?"

"I will wear this only-"

"KHUSHI"

Khushi couldn't complete her sentence as Payal barged in her room, furiously glaring at her and shouting her name.

Arnav wondered what his little Kiwi would have done now, that he had to witness a calm, silent girl like Payal turn into a maleficent earlier in the day.

Payal walked to Khushi angrily, "You were the one who tore up my school book to get those illustration images, right?"

Khushi gulped, staring fearfully at her sister before ashamedly admitting her  mistake with her hazel eyes brimming with fresh tears.

An infuriated Payal raised her arms to hit her sister as a punishment for her grave mistake, when Arnav rushed to save his Khuhi, standing in front of Khushi before Payal's hand could reach her. Khushi hid behind her friend, shutting her eyes tightly in fear of her elder sister's wrath.

"What's wrong with you Payal Di?" he frowned staring at her, "She made a mistake.. she will say sorry for it."

"Stop defending her everytime Arnav. She needs to learn that my school books aren't meant for play," Payal frowned deeply.

Khushi sobbed guilty, "I'm sorry Jiji."

"Stop hiding behind Arnav, Khushi. Come here.. I'll complain to Amma about you now," Payal commanded, glaring at Khushi.

"Khuhi called her friends home today. Do you want to embarrass your sister by making Garima aunty scold her in front of everyone downstairs?" Arnav asked, trying to save his friend.

"I.don't.care!"

Arnav sighed in defeat, but then his eyes fell on Payal's anklets, he immediately looked up at her again, "Then you should be ashamed for wearing a brown anklet!"

Payal looked at him confused, "What?"

"Yeah.. Brown anklet symbolize having a good family relationship. And instead of making peace with your sister and forgive her for her mistake, make her understand that she shouldn't play with your school things to improve your relationship with her. You want to hit her and even involve Garima aunty in this to aggravate the fight between you two," he replied, "And you can always buy another book, but where will you find another sister like Khuhi who hide from everyone that you unintentionally broke the new set of plates Garima aunty had bought recently?"

"She clearly didn't kept this a secret between us because she told you about it," Payal said sarcastically.

Khushi bit her lips, hiding her face on Arnav's back, afraid of what her sister would do now that she found out that she revealed their top secret to Arnav.

"I'm an exception Payal Di. Khuhi shares everything with me.. well, I believed so too until today," he looked back tauntingly at Khushi - receiving an apologetic look from her -  then turned his gaze to Payal.

"Payal Di for the sake of the meaning of these brown anklets you're wearing, let's just end this here. Forgive Khuhi for tearing you school book and I'll ask Papa to buy the same new book for you," Arnav said trying to put an end to the fight between the sisters.

Payal sighed, calming herself, she nodded her head in positive, "Okay."

Arnav moved aside once he was assured Payal won't raise her hand on Khushi, he signaled Khushi to apologise for her deeds.

A sob escaped from Khushi's mouth, melting Arnav's heart as she apologized to her sister, "I'm.. so-sorry Jiji.. I won't te-tear your books ever again."

"Acchha bas (Enough)," Arnav whispered to her, patting her back gently, frowning at her for crying over a silly matter.

Payal too melted watching her little princess sobbing, she immediately rushed to Khushi, taking her sister into an heart warming tight hug, "It's okay.. I forgive you this time. Don't do it again, okay?"

Khushi nodded her head, burying her face on her sister's neck.

Arnav sighed in relief silently, watching the Gupta sisters reconciliation and thanking the day he googled with Khushi the meaning of the anklets colors. Khushi loves colorful anklets and one free day, they had paused their game on his father's laptop to search the meaning of the colorful anklets.

"Go and get dressed Khushi quickly.. Your friends are waiting for you downstairs and Amma is already getting angry," Payal said as she withdrew herself from the hug, wiping away the tears from Khushi's face.

"She was just doing the same when you came Payal Di," Arnav said with a tinge of sarcasm on his tone.

Accustomed with Arnav's sharp sarcastic replies, Payal just nodded and walked away.

As soon as Payal, Khushi rushed to the bathroom with the red dress Arnav chose for her.

Arnav stood there dumbfounded. He expected at least.... a thank you, if not an unexpected sweet kiss from his Khuhi.

************************************

Khushi reached downstairs with Arnav. She quickly ran to her school and neighbor friends to greet them happily.

Garima walked out of the kitchen to check on her daughter and sighed in relief seeing her interacting happily with her guests. Her eyes moved in direction to Arnav, who stood alone in a corner, watching his daughter being hugged and kissed by her friends, and getting compliments for her look.

She walked to Arnav, ruffling his hair lovingly, "What happened beta? Why are you standing here alone? Go and play with Khushi and the other kids."

Arnav looked up at her, smiling awkwardly, "Okay aunty."

He obediently went closer to Khushi's group of friends and greeted them politely.

After they were done with greetings, they finally settled on the sofas. Garima rushed to call Kanta to serve juice and snacks for the kids while she finished the lunch.

Sheetal and NK pulled Khushi to sit with them, inquiring her about the color of her dress. She explained to them that she couldn't wear her orange dress because it was loose on her. NK noticed Khushi's crooked pigtails and she chuckled softly asking her if she had tried to style on her own today.

Khushi ran her fingers through her pigtails replying, "It's Nav's fault.. He doesn't know how to make perfect pigtails."

Arnav gritted his teeth hearing her blaming him. Yes, it's his fault. Yes, he doesn't know how to make perfect pigtails. But at least, she should have taken in consideration, that he tried to help her in absence of Garima aunty who's an expert with hairstyles.

"Ungrateful girl," he muttered under his breath.

"Let's plan what games we will play today," NK said to all of them.

"Board games!" Khushi quickly replied, knowing very well that Arnav is an expert in these kind of games, "Dominoes or Jenga?"

"It's so boring Khushi!" Sheetal immediately disagreed, "Let's go to your room and play with your toys. Then we'll play hide and seek.. and if we get time, then only we'll play board games."

Everyone one else agreed, dragging Khushi upstairs to her room. A bored and annoyed Arnav simply followed them to Khushi's room, not really interested in what they're doing. He just wanted to be near his Khuhi, which seemed quite impossible, as everyone wanted a piece of her today.

And.. he was burning in jealously.

************************************

Garima called out the kids making noise by their excitement screams and laughter to take a break from their games and come downstairs to have lunch. No one listened to her, except Payal and Arnav who came downstairs, headed to the dining room and obediently took their seats.

Garima patted Arnav's head affectionately, showering praises to him for being a good boy.

"Hayree NK.. He's such a good obedient boy," Buaji looked at Arnav fondly, pinching his cheek hard much to Arnav's dislike, he simply faked a smile, rubbing his cheek lightly.

"I don't know why Titaliya isn't like you," Buaji shook her head, thinking about the trouble maker her niece is.

"Payal go and call Khushi and her friends to have lunch," Garima said.

Payal nodded, getting up from her seat when Shashi signaled her to sit back on her chair.

Luckily, Shashi was home by lunch time, so he headed upstairs to strictly call the kids to have lunch.

Hearing Khushi's father strict commanding tone, everyone joined them for lunch.

Khushi took her seat beside Arnav, smiling at him as she showed his favorite dishes that she had especially asked her mother to cook for him.

Arnav simply looked away, avoiding a conversation with her. She ignored him the entire time she was playing with her friends, now it's his time to reciprocate the treatment he received from her.

"Nav," Khushi called him.

"Chup!" Buaji glared at Khushi, "Eat your food quietly now."

Khushi pouted, eyeing at her plate now.

"My head is already exploding because of her noisy friends," Buaji muttered to herself, "...except Chote bitwa," she reminded herself this time to exclude the little boy from the noisy group of Khushi's friends.

Garima made sure every kid was having their lunch properly, only then she took a relieved sigh and sat with her husband.

************************************

After the lunch, Khushi and her friends went to the garden of their house to sit, chit chat and enjoy the Saturday sun.

But Arnav didn't follow them this time, he went behind Garima in the living room.

"Garima aunty," he called with a soft sad tone.

"Yes Arnav," Garima held his hand, pulling him close to her as she lifted him to her lap.

"Can you please call my Mumma to pick me up? I want to go back home," he said, lowering his eyes.

"But why? What happened that you want to go home early? Don't you want play some more with your friends? Are you feeling sick?" Garima asked worriedly, caressing his cheek.

"I just want to go back home!" Arnav replied, "Please call my Mumma."

"Okay beta," Garima nodded her head, hurriedly stretching her hand to reach her phone resting on the side table to call Ratna.

***********************************

"Nav," Khushi ran to him, walking to the gate with his mother beside him.

Arnav stopped on his track and turned to her frowning slightly.

"What happened? Why are you going back home?" Khushi asked.

Arnav shrugged, "Please don't bother about me. Go and spend time with your special friends."

Ratna widened her eyes shocked to witness jealous side of her son. Arnav looked up at his mother, "Let's go mumma."

"Nav wait!" Khushi held his hand stopping him from leaving, but Arnav shoved her hand away from him.

He immediately dragged his mother out of Gupta mansion till their car.

Khushi face fell watching him leave her like that. Her heart pained, without realizing, tears started rolling down her cheeks.

7:00 pm.
Raizada Mansion.

"We are very sorry for coming here at this time Ratna. Khushi insisted on meeting his friend today. I tried to make her understand that tomorrow I would take her to meet Arnav, but she started crying and refused to eat anything," Garima smiled apologetically at her friend.

Ratna shook her head, "Please don't apologize for this. You're always most welcome in this house. Come inside."

"Shashi!" Aryan smiled seeing his friend for the second time in a day, he walked to them, inquiring for the reason of the sudden visit.

Shashi and Garima explained how Khushi was feeling guilty for not giving time to Arnav while playing with her friends. She wanted to meet with him and apologize to him for leaving him alone.

"Where's Nav, Ratna aunty?" Khushi asked impatiently, not spotting him around the hall.

"He is with his Nani in her room. Go and meet your friend," Ratna said.

As soon as she got permission from Ratna, Khushi ran upstairs to meet her Nav.

Ratna chuckled softly staring at Khushi's disappearing figure, "Chote is so possessive of Khushi. Bichari Khushi.. she will suffer in the future with this boy. Just for one day, he didn't get his Khushi's attention and this is his condition, so imagine in the future, what will Khushi have to do to pacify him later?"

"It's not his fault Ratna. He is a good boy. It's just he doesn't open up so quickly with others like Khushi and Khushi should have understood her friend and stayed with him to get him acquainted with her friends," Garima said.

"It's not Khushi's fault too na Garima.. She's just a little kid to handle every other kid demanding her attention," Aryan chuckled, calling them to sit in the living room.

"Let's just say it's nothing to be taken seriously because they're just kids.. eventually they'll sort it out among themselves," Shashi said making everyone giggle agreeing with him.

"Hello hi bye bye," Mami greeted Shashi and Garima, followed by Mama, once they joined them to watch TV while they waited for Arshi to reconcile.

***********************************

Khushi knocked the door of Nani's room waiting for permission to enter.

"Come in!" she got permission from Nani and opened the door eagerly to see her best friend, "Nav," she called his name softly as she took baby steps inside the room.

Nani smiled pleasantly surprised to see Khushi, "Khushi bitiya.. It's good to see you here. Your friend was missing you only."

Khushi smiled weakly, her eyes traveled to Arnav, laid on the bed with his head rested on Nani's lap, when he heard her voice, he buried his face on his Nani's lap to hide his moist eyes.

"I wasn't missing her at all Nani," Arnav spoke, without showing his face to Khushi.

Khushi climbed up Nani's bed to reach him, she sat near him on the bed, then looked at Nani who signaled her to talk to her friend.

"Nav I'm so sorry," Khushi said with a soft guilty tone, "I'm really sorry.. I didn't want to make you feel alone today.. I just was so confused how to give my time to every friend of mine. I'm sorry Nav.. please forgive me."

No reply.

"Nav.. even you give more time to Anya and her brother, Aman when they're here. I never complain anything to you," Khushi pouted seeing him unresponsive to her pleas of forgiveness.

"Don't bring Lavanya and Aman in this matter, you ungrateful girl!"

Khushi frowned, "Why are you calling me ungrateful now?"

"You didn't thank me for helping you patch up with Payal Di!"

"I didn't know thank you and sorry are rules in our friendship.. you ignorant boy," Khushi narrowed her eyes at him, but he didn't saw it as he had his face hidden from her.

"Why are you calling me ignorant now?"

"Because you never notice the things I do for you. I wore this red dress because I know it's your favorite color. I insisted my friends to play board games because you like it. I asked Amma to cook your favorite food for you."

Nani silently watched the two interact with each other in amusement.

"You complained about the crooked pigtails I did with your hair!"

"I left my hair in the same crooked pigtails you did," she said.

She again got no reply from him.

"Nav," Khushi bend to drop a kiss on his thick black hair, whispering to him, "I'm sorry!"

It's the unexpected sudden kisses filled with her love, sweetness and cuteness that he loves the most. And Khushi got the secret to melt him now.

He raised his head from Nani's lap to face her now. Khushi held her ears cutely, pleading him to forgive her through his eyes.

Arnav finally smiled making Khushi and Nani relieved that his mood changed for better now.

Nani left them in her room as she headed downstairs to greet Khushi's parents.

"Listen," Arnav sat straight on the bed now.

"No, you listen," Khushi slapped his arm, glaring at him, "Do you even know I didn't eat anything till now because of you?"

"Same here okay madam!" he replied sarcastically, rubbing his arm where she had hit him.

"Let's go and eat something then. I'm famished," Khushi said, climbing down the bed. Arnav followed her, "You're always hungry... Mumma was telling Di she's going to observe teej vrat when she grows up... I wonder what will happen to you when it will be your turn to fast?"

"Don't worry.. I'll make you fast with me," Khushi narrowed her eyes at him.

Arnav chuckled, pulling her pigtails teasingly, "Mumma said this fast is only for women."

Khushi glared at him. "If I don't make you fast with me in future, then change my name to Kiwi."

"Stop with your filmly dialogues now," Arnav rolled his eyes, "And you're already my Kiwi. Choose another name.. Dukhi maybe!"

Before Khushi could attack him for suggesting Dukhi as her name, he ran downstairs laughing loudly at her.

Khushi smiled staring at his disappearing figure, "Chalo.. Nav khush.. toh main bhi khush! (Nav is happy so am I)."

************************************

Sometime later..

Arnav and Khushi stood near their baby tree Arshi talking with her.

"Arshi she has started hiding things from me now," Arnav complained, glancing sideways at Khushi, "Didn't we promise to share everything with each other no matter how tiny or silly the matter is? She broke her promise!"

Khushi looked at him with tear filled eyes.

Arnav immediately pulled her into a tight consoling hug, unable to see tears in her eyes, "Kiwi you start crying for every little thing.. I was just teasing you.. stop crying. I'm not upset with you for not telling me about the stupid dress code thing anymore. Don't cry."

"I broke our promise," Khushi sobbed in his arms, "I'm not a good friend."

"It's nothing like that.." he broke the hug, "Even I broke the promise."

"What?" Khushi gasped, "You hid something from me?"

Arnav nodded, clearing his throat while Khushi waited impatiently for him to reveal what he hide from her.

"Yesterday I met Lavanya and Aman in the ice cream shop I went with Papa, Di and Akash bhai. Papa and their Dad took us to watch the Salman movie you wanted to watch with me," he said, preparing himself for the worst.

Khushi walked away from there. And he ran towards her to stop her from leaving him, "Khuhi wait.."

"Don't Khuhi me now.. You hide such a huge thing from me. You.. you broke our promise into huge pieces and I just broke my promise into tiny ones."

Arnav held her hand finally stopping her, he dragged Khushi to their tree Arshi again, "I'm sorry Khuhi.. I hide this from you. I knew it you wouldn't like it.. but I couldn't do anything."

"You're so bad!" Khushi cried beating him with her tiny hands on his chest, "I was so excited to watch that movie with you.. and you watched with that Anya."

"I'm sorry Khuhi.. I'm really sorry," he tried to hug her but Khushi pushed him away and turned her back to him angrily.

"I'm feeling really guilty for doing this to you Khuhi. I had no choice Khuhi, Di and Akash bhai agreed with this idea and my opinion wouldn't really make a difference in front of the elders. Please forgive me. I'll watch that movie again with you, promise.. I will watch without giving you spoilers, as if it's the first time I'm watching it," he said approaching her and slowly rested his hands on her both arms, rubbing them gently to calm her down.

"I should have wear that orange dress even though it was loose on me," Khushi spoke, facing her back to him, gritting her teeth.

"I'm sorry Kiwi."

"I shouldn't have thought of your favorites board games," she added.

"I'm sorry," he repeated.

"I shouldn't have asked Amma to cook your favorite food today."

"I'm sorry."

Khushi turned to him and pulling his hair roughly, "Stop saying sorry everytime. You'll watch all of Salman uncle movies with me for lifetime  now. Did you hear that?"

"I will.. I will," Arnav winced in pain, "Let go of my hair now Kiwi."

Khushi withdrew her fingers from his hair, glaring at him. She looked away, staring at their baby tree Arshi in silence for a while.

Arnav knew she was still upset with him. He went running inside the house leaving Khushi with open mouth and wide eyes, not believing he left her when she's upset with him.

She frowned and looked back at their tree Arshi complaining, "See Arshi, this is why I don't like that Anya.. she changed my Nav. She wants my Nav's attention in school and now outside school too."

Arnav came back to her, he opened his fist to reveal orange color anklets for her, "I asked Papa to buy this for you on our way back home yesterday. Orange anklet to strengthen the bond of our friendship."

A sweet smile adorned Khushi's lips as she took the anklets from his hand taking her own sweet time to appreciate the beautiful anklets in her hand. She looked up at smiling and Arnav understood she accepted his apology.

"Let's do one thing now," he glanced at their one year-old tree, then back at her, "Let's remake our promise with Arshi as our witness now."

Khushi nodded her head, "I promise to never hide anything from you Nav, be it smallest or silliest of the matters.. I won't ever hide anything from you."

"I promise to never hide anything from you Khuhi, be it the biggest and most serious of the matters.. I won't ever hide anything from you," he said, extending his hand to her.

Khushi kept her hand on top of his hand, with a bright shiny smile on her face.

"One more promise please!" she pleaded.

"Say it."

"I'm always going to be more important to you than Anya in your life," Khushi pouted.

"Is that even a promise to make? Of course, you will always be more important than any of my friends Khuhi.. We're like Tom and Jerry.. inseparable."

"No, we're Dadi's Chote and Choti!" she giggled.

"You're my Khuhi and I'm your Nav," he added smiling.

"You're my Karela and I'm your Kiwi," Khushi continued, finding their little game of words interesting.

Arnav made a face when she called him Karela making her laugh out loud.

"Khushi bitiya.. let's go. It's getting late now.. You'll play with Arnav tomorrow," Garima shouted at her daughter calling her to bid goodbye to the elders so they could head back home now.

"Ji Amma.. Coming," Khushi shouted back.

She waved at Arnav smiling, "Bye Nav.. See you tomorrow pakka!"

"Bye Khuhi.. Tomorrow we can go to the theater to watch that Salman movie with our mothers. They haven't watched the movie yet," he said.

Khushi smiled widened as she nodded agreeing with his idea, "Great idea Nav.. I'll talk with Amma and you talk with Ratna aunty."

She quickly hugged him and went running inside his house.

Arnav sighed, gazing at her disappear from his vision like a butterfly, "It will be a torture to watch your Salman movie for the second time. But anything for you, Khuhi."
