Angrily marching down the hallways with blood dripping down my arm, I made my way to the nurse's office and walked in only to receive a shock stare from the nurse herself and the girl who was in the waiting area.

"Can I have some alcohol rub, bandages and tape?" I asked as I walked up to her. She nodded her head and walked off to the back. I heard some shuffling and soon she came back out with everything I had asked her for. She passed them to me and I silently thanked her before leaving.

Walking down the empty halls, I made my way to a different girl's bathroom where the mirror wasn't shattered everywhere. I only don't know how I shattered the mirror. I have powers over nature including the elements but I don't see how that could even break. Finally reaching the girl's room, I walked in and placed everything on the counter.

There was some shuffling from one of the stalls followed by a toilet flush. I turned the pipe on and rinsed off the fresh blood that was dripping along with the dried up blood. The stall opened and from the corner of my eyes I could see a girl exiting. As soon as she saw me, I saw a bit of fear take over her. She kept her head down and quickly washed her hands before leaving. She didn't even dry her hands.

I let out a scoff and grabbed the bottle of alcohol rub and popped it open. I sucked in a sharp breath knowing it's going to sting. I poured it on the cut and let out a small scream as it was now stinging. I dried it up with a paper towel and bandage it up before wrapping the medical tape around it.

I threw everything in the trash and headed to my next class which was math knowing the bell was going to ring soon. I stood in front my math class and leaned against the wall out of tiredness. I was now honestly starting to feel sleep. A buzzing soon came next to me and I turned to see it was Rio.

He kept buzzing and I listened intensely as he was telling me everything. Rio went to the backstreet I told him about but there was nothing. He then went to search for Victor and it turns out Victor is alive but in some secret medical hospital and is planning something big.

The bell rang and I quickly thanked Rio before the students could enter the hallway. After all the students had exited the math class, I entered and took my seat in the back. I was honestly more thankful that it was my last class before lunch. After lunch, it's Art then Ethan and I head home then to work. Math class soon started and I zoned out the entire time.

Part of me was relief Victor was alive but the other part of me was now wishing he was really dead. When Victor plans something, it's never safe to be the one on his bad side. Last time someone new came into town was about 5 years ago. He came in here just like Ethan and I had came here. Silent and minded our own business.

News got around that the guy was actually really friendly and even spoke to Ethan and I once when we ran into each other at the grocery store. For once, I thought things could change for the best...I was wrong. You seen, whoever talks to Ethan and I in a friendly manner get a paid visit at night. The guy didn't seem to agree to Victor's terms so Victor attacked him. Next thing you know, a gunshot went off and well...you can figure out the rest from there.

The cops in this town are worthless. They kiss the ground Victor walks on. If he had to do some dirty work, they would turn their heads the other direction. In case you haven't picked it up yet, Victor 'runs' this town with his small gang. How he came to power you might ask? Well, you see Victor's father was Mayor of this town. That was until his father got shot and Victor rained hell on everyone for that. Everyone soon came to respect him.

Ethan complains  about how I should use my powers to take them out but the last time I did that, I almost injured Ethan... You see, when I try to use it against people, I sometimes lose control. It's also the reason why I try not to change the weather for my own personal gain. If I change the weather here, it can cause a storm or some other type of natural disaster somewhere else in another country. 

It's honestly becoming harder to protect Ethan and watch over him because in the future, he would most likely grow out of it and want his own privacy. I don't blame him. I wouldn't want someone to breathe down my neck 24/7. When we move out of this town, I'm going to sign him up for self defense class. He knows a little but not to much. 

"Freya!" a voice shouted causing me to look up. I saw the classroom was now empty and Mr. Herman was standing in front my desk glaring down at me with his arms folded across his chest. I then realized that class was over and it was now lunch time.

Shit, Ethan.

I shoved my stuff in my bag and ran out the classroom. The hallway was empty excepting for a few kids who were just grabbing their things from their locker. Jogging down the hallway, I pulled out my phone and texted Ethan.

Me: Did you leave class yet?

I picked up my pace and ran down the hallway and around the corner before speeding down another hallway. As I came up to his classroom, I saw the classroom door was open. I peeped inside to see the lights were on but no one was inside. My phone vibrated and I took out my phone to see Ethan had texted back.

Ethan: Yes, I grabbed lunch for us. I'm outside. Where are you?

Me: I'm on my way

I hit send and bumped into something hard causing me to fall to the floor. I let out a painful groan as I fell on my bottom. Looking up, my heart dropped and my body went numb. His lips twitched up into a smirk and I felt as if I couldn't breathe.

He...he was here....How was he here? Why is he here? I thought he was recovering!

Within a swift move, he reached down for my hand and firmly gripped it before pulling me off the floor. Not knowing how to respond, I stayed frozen.

"Surprise to see me I'm guessing," he chuckled as he pulled me closer to him.

I opened my mouth to say something but nothing came out which caused him to smirk even wider. His face had some bruises here and there but nothing too serious. He actually looked really healthy surprisingly for someone who had got struck by lightning. I then looked down to see he was still holding my hand. I slowly pulled it away only causing him grip it.

"Not so fast," he growled clearly pissed off. I didn't look up because I knew he was glaring at me and honestly, he made me feel a bit intimidated. "What do you want Victor?" I muffled out.

"We need to have a long talk," he spoke in a stern tone as he released my hand and then wrapped his arm around my shoulder. I knew there was no escaping and I had to play it safe.

Not daring to say anything, I just walked down the hallway glued to his side.

"So, your new friend messed up Cain pretty bad yesterday," he hissed out. He was talking about Kai.

I may have forgotten to mention but Cain is Victor's younger step brother. Yeah, life just loves us.

"He's not my friend and Cain messed with Ethan," I mumbled.

"I don't care who he is to you. He still messed with Cain and now his ass is complaining about it and wants me to do something," he spoke in a playful tone referring to doing something to Kai.

I stopped in my steps causing him to stop and look at me with a stupid smirk. "What are you going to do?" I asked.

He pulled me closer to him and forced me to continue walking with him. "Nothing to bad. Just a little talk," he spoke with a playful tone. I knew that wasn't going to happen. Knowing Kai, he would probably fight back since he fought back with Cain.

"Please don't. He had nothing to do with it," I pleaded with him only causing him to chuckle. "I thought he isn't your friend?" he questioned as we continued to walk down the hall.

I let out a sigh. What Kai said to me in the car yesterday hurt pretty bad but he didn't deserve this. "He's new and just didn't know any better," I defended him.

Victor hummed as if he was planning something else. "Okay, how about this. I don't bother the new kid only if I get one night with you," he spoke with such proudness in his voice.

I felt my legs go numb for a second at his offer. "NO!" I shouted causing him to tighten his grip around me causing my left arm to start hurting. I sucked in a sharp breath causing him to glimpse down at me.

"What happened to your arm?" he asked.

I rolled my eyes, "Ashley and why are you being so touché with me and concern?" I asked. Victor has always been the ....unexpected type. You NEVER know what to expect from him and as of right now, I'm starting to question my safety. Would he really kill me in a school?

He seem to have read my mind since he shook his head. "I just came here to talk to Cain but bumping into you was not expecting and don't worry, you're safe...for now. This Ashley, is she the one who hangs out with Cain?" he asked.

"....Yea," I slowly answered not knowing where this was going.

My phone started to ring and I knew it was Ethan. I reached in my pocket and pulled it out quickly before declining the call. If Ethan found out what was happening right now, he would just run all over the school to find me and having him near me isn't safe.

"So about that offer," Victor bought up.

I shook my head, "Seriously, no. Why would you even want me near you. I don't understand," I spoke in confusion.

"Fine. How about I leave your so called 'Not-friend' alone and Ethan for 1 month but you have to have dinner with me tonight," he smirked.

"Deal," I immediately responded. Just him leaving Ethan alone was good enough for me.

He stopped in his steps causing me to stop. He then made his way in front me and stood 3 inches apart from me. "But, there are rules," he grinned causing my eyebrows to raise.

"Rules?" I asked.

He nodded his head. "First rule is that you have to do anything I ask you to do. If you decline, the deal is off," he spoke in a playful tone as if he already knew what he was going to ask me.

"I'm not doing no dirty -"

"It's not," he rolled his eyes. "Anyways, the next rule is that you have to dress nice and no back talking. Show me respect and I'll give you respect. The dinner will be from 8pm to 10pm so be ready by 7.30 and I'll pick you up. If you break this deal, you'll wish you never even meet me and as for the new kid, he's dead meat. If this all goes smooth, you don't have to worry about me bothering Ethan for a month. If not, someone dies," he spoke in a casual voice as if this was a everyday thing for him.

I stared at him as he explained the rules and what would happen if I broke them. I honestly didn't know what to say.

"You have until the end of this walk to decide what your answer is. Meanwhile, let's pay a visit to this Ashley," he stated as he wrapped his arm around my shoulder and walked.

Before I could stop him, he pushed open the door and pulled me closer into him before stepping into the cafeteria. I looked around and watched as everyone's face turned shock and the room became silent to where you could hear a pin drop. I went to turn around and walk out but Victor made sure that didn't happen since he held me firmly to his side.

"Continue what you were doing," he shouted causing everyone to turn away and continue talking amongst themselves. I was then turned a certain direction and I turned to see we were heading to Cain's table where Ashley and his friends were as well.

Cain was laughing with his friend Kevin and turned causing his laugh to die down as he noticed Victor. As we got closer, I felt myself becoming more vulnerable by the second.

"What's up Vic?" Cain nodded as we got closer. Cain gave me a slight glimpse with a smirk knowing he succeeded in telling Victor to back off I'm up somehow. As we got closer, I looked at His face to see it was much more bruised up from when Kai had beaten him up. His eyebrow even had some stitches.

"Which one of you girls is Ashley?" Victor asked ignoring Cain.

I looked at Ashley who has a grin on her face. "I am," she responded proudly.

I looked at Victor to see he was full on giving her a death stare. "Did you do this to her?" he asked as he reached over and held up my left hand.

She looked at me before planting a wicked smile on her face, "I did."

I honestly had no idea where Victor was going with this. Like I said, unexpected.

"You want to explain why?" he growled causing her to look at him in confusion. He narrowed his eyes at her and it was pretty obvious she was now starting to fear him.

Cain looked at my arm before looking at Ashley. "I-uh..." she started to stutter.

"Look, I'm going to warn you this time not to touch her but the next time you do, I will be the one making a move on you," he threatened. She quickly shook her head and mumbled an apologize towards him. Victor then turned to Cain and started talking about something which I could care less about.

I looked around the room to see a pair of turquoise eyes looking at me with shock and worried written all over his face. It was Ethan and he was standing next to Kai who was wearing his shades as usual and staring directly at me as well.

Why was Ethan next to him?

Ethan then took a step towards me and I shook my head a little causing him to stop in his steps. I gave him a pleading look not to come forward and he seem to know since he took a step back.

"So?" Victor's voice came near me causing me to turn my head and look up at him. "So?" I mumbled.

He rolled his eyes, "The deal," he huffed.

I let out a sigh, "Fine, it's a deal," I mumbled causing a wicked smile to be placed on his lips.

He stuck out his hand and I hesitantly shook it. "See you at 7:30 tonight," he spoke in a devilish voice as he shook my hand back.

He then released my hand and turned on his heels before walking towards the exit of the cafeteria. "Wear something sexy!" he shouted over his shoulders making sure the whole cafeteria heard. He let out a laugh before walking out.

I honestly don't know how I should feel about this deal. A small portion of me is happy that Victor will be leaving Ethan alone but the other part of me fears that the worst is yet to come. His rules are starting to put fear in me and I don't even know what he would want me to do. 

I hope he doesn't make me do something I don't want. How do I even explain what just happened? My mind is swarming with questions and my body is feeling as if it had just been hit with a train. 

Looking over behind me, I turned to see Cain looking at me with a smirk from the table. "I hope you're ready for tonight," he grinned. not knowing how to respond, I stayed quiet. he gave me one last smirk before he wrapped his arm around Ashley and continued to eat his lunch.

Two figures was now next to me on each side and I knew it was Ethan and Kai.

"What deal did you make?" Ethan's voice came out soft.

Let out a deep sigh, I didn't know what to think. My mind was swarming with worries and so much more. I had no choice but to take the deal. If it meant saving a life and protecting my brother, I would take it without a doubt.

"I think I just signed my life away," I mumbled.

"You what!!" Ethan and Kai shouted simultaneously.
