You ever had that moment in your life where you just want to end it all but then you think about the people or person in this case that you can't leave behind? Well that is my current position. When Victor left the room and I processed what he had said, I then immediately called Ethan.

Turns out, one of Victor's guys dropped Ethan to school and it was now 3rd period, not lunch. My clock had reset for some odd reason. Probably because Victor turned it off or something. Ethan kept asking me questions but I didn't tell him anything. I just told him I would when it's time. We said our goodbyes and I resumed my previous position. Staring at the door from my bed.

I don't understand how could anyone live in this town with someone ruling over like Victor. The only reason my ass is still is in this town is to finish the last two months in high school. When I walk across that stage and grab my diploma from that scum of a Principal, Ethan and I will wait till night and drive out of here as always planned.

We already packed and have our papers ready. The money we earned from the restaurant could get us a house and a new start. Working all these years were going to pay off for the better good.

"FREYA!" I heard my name behind yelled from the stairway. The footsteps got louder as they came to my door.

For now, I will have to somehow work through this.

My door swung open revealing a clearly pissed of Victor. "What the fuck are you still doing in bed? I told you to get dress 11 minutes ago," he growled in anger.

I stared at him blankly.

He then marched over to me and grabbed me roughly by the chin so I was face to face, staring at his brown eyes. "Freya, do not push my button. I'm not in the mood. Whatever happened yesterday, I want you to know you shouldn't have gone through that but you should also keep in mind that what I did to that guy, I will do it to you if you keep pushing me. I promised I would stay away from Kai and Ethan for a month but if you even try something on me, I will hurt Ethan when the month is up. Now, are you going to get dress?" his voice came out threatening.

I let out a sigh and slowly moved from my chin out of his hand before sliding off the bed. I walking into the bathroom and closed the door behind me.

"That's what I thought," I could hear him mumble.

Turning on the pipe and brushing my teeth, I looked in the mirror to see my left eye was still swollen from the punch yesterday. I could see clearly but the bump and the bluish purple color was still there. I let out a sigh and continued to brush my teeth. Finishing brush my teeth, I turned the shower on and hopped in.

After taking a hot shower, I dried myself and wrapped the towel around me before entering my bedroom. I looked around to see Victor was no longer in my room. Walking to my closet, I pulled out a pair of black jeans, a white tank top and a black leather jacket. Slipping into them, I then combed my hair and looked at my reflection in the mirror then realized my bruised eye was very much noticeable.

Walking back over to my closet, I searched the bottom shelf and found my tinted shades. Slipping them on, I walked back to the mirror and saw that no one could see through these shades. It kind of reminds me of Kai shades. Letting out a final sigh, I grabbed my phone and then headed down stairs.

I walked into the hallway and out the front door to see Victor was walking around the driveway holding his phone to his ear. I honestly was disappointed he was still here. I thought he got so mad at me he just left in anger but no, he's still here.

He looked up and gave me a half grin before pushing a button on his phone and shoving it in his pocket. I would like to shove his phone somewhere else if you know what I mean.

"Get in," he shouted over his shoulders as he got into the driver's seat of his car. I let out a groan and shut the door behind me before walking over to his car and getting in the passenger's seat.

He started the car and we were heading to the school.

"Great news. I will be staying with you for the rest of the day in school. When you finish you last class, I'm going to go do some business stuff. Since today is Friday, I will be the nice person I am and leave you alone...only for today of course," he stated.

I almost gagged when he claimed to be a 'nice person'. A cobra is more nice than his stupid ass. A shark is more nice. Voldemort is more nice than him.

I turned to look at Victor who was focused on driving.

Is Voldemort more nicer than him? I mean it's a 50/50 thing. Voldemort doesn't cut people up. He just instantly kills you. That's less painful. I mean who's that disgusting to cut up someone? If Victor and Voldemort were face to face, Victor would instantly be dead. Victor would've spent his time explaining to Voldemort how he would kill him and also threaten him. Voldemort would just give him one zap and BAM, end of story.

"FREYA!" a hand grabbed my chin again. I blinked a few times to see I was staring at Victor. "Stop getting lost in Wonderland and get out the car," he hissed.

I sighed once again and pushed his hand away before opening the door and stepping out. I then realized I didn't bring my bag. Eh, I'll live. Speaking of Wonderland, the Red Queen is nice. Sure she likes chopping heads off but again, instant death. No lectures. I think you get the idea.

A hand wrapped around my shoulder and I let out a scoff as Victor was now walking side me as we enter the school. The bell had rung and kids were now crowding the hallway but once they saw Victor, they made a path for him. I walked down the hallway and turned a few corners before standing in front my math class.

I looked up to my side to see Victor grinning at me, "Well? Let's go," he chirped before dragging me into the class with his arms wrapped around me.

Making my way to the back, I took a seat. Victor sat next to me and placed his feet on the desk. Honestly, I'm glad we came in time for math class before if it was periods 1 to 3, Kai would have been in here sitting where Victor was sitting. Some of the students kept turning back and looking at me then at Victor but Victor paid no attention since he was on his phone.

My teacher finally walked in and saw Victor but turned to start writing on the board. He was going to pretend it was okay for Victor to be here. Victor then leaned towards me and started to talk about something which I could care less about. Drowning everything out, I went to my so call 'Wonderland'.

The bell rung and I slowly blinked before looking around the room to see all the students were now gone. I then realized that was the second bell meaning that was the bell where everyone was now in class or at lunch.

Ethan.

I quickly got up from my seat and ran out the room. Running down the hall and around the corner and through a double door, I was now getting closer to Ethan's side. I soon heard some yelling and picked up my pace. Turning the corner, I saw Cain grabbing Ethan by the collar. Kai then grabbed his hand causing Cain to let go of Ethan.

"Fuck off freak boy," Cain growled as he pushed Kai back. Kai went to punch Cain but a hand stopped him midway. My eyes widened and I quickly ran over knowing what was going to happen.

Kai turned around and Victor raised his hand to punch Kai but I held his elbow.

"NO!" I shouted causing Victor to swiftly turn his head my direction. His eyes grew darker and it was filled with rage and violence.

"A deal was a deal," I informed him. He looked at me then at Kai before release his hand and putting his fist down. I heard a slam and I saw Cain had my brother against the lockers. I ran over and punched Cain in the face causing him to release Ethan.

My body was then slammed against the locker. A hand pinned my right hand against the locker and a knee was between my leg so I couldn't move. I felt something cold against the side of my forehead and my brain quickly processed what was happening.

Victor had me pinned to the locker. Not only that but he had his pistol shoved up against the side of my forehead. I looked into his eyes through my shades to see he had a wicked smirk on his face. "You keep pushing me Freya," he growled.

"Victor, let her go," Ethan demanded as he started walking over to Victor. "Make one more move Ethan and I pull the trigger," he hissed turning to look at Ethan.

From the corner of my eye, I saw Ethan stopped in his footsteps. I looked at Kai and eyed him noting he should grabbed Ethan. He slowly reached over to Ethan and pulled him back. Looking at Cain, I saw a grin on his face as he was looking at me.

"Freya, oh sweet Freya. We've been over this," he mumbled as he leaned in closer to me. His head was now on the side of my face. I could now feel his breath hitting my neck which sent shivers down my spine.

"Victor, I-"

"Sh," he hushed me. He then glide the pistol down my face and pushed it under my chin causing me to look at the ceiling. "You see Freya, there's only so much...patience I have to tolerate you. I don't care what your excuse is but if you do some stupid shit like that again, I will kill you," he spoke in a warning tone.

I processed his words and my eyes soon widened. It now was making sense to me a little. He doesn't have the guts to kill me...yet. He's waiting on something. I don't know what it is yet but he's waiting for something.

"You're not going to kill me," I mumbled as I figured it out a little.

"What?" his voice came out with confusion written all over it. I forcefully lowered my chin and saw he was looking at me but still reposition the gun back to my forehead.

A smirk rose to my face, "I've got it somewhat figured out. You see, you're not going to kill me. You're not going to kill me because if you wanted too, you would of done it already a long time ago since you started to hate me. The next reason is that when you shot the guy next to me yesterday, you could have also took the chance to shoot me, but you didn't. Then when I stormed out of the car yesterday, you would've shoot me if I was anyone else but you didn't. Then when I was forcefully drunk and dancing to the music, you danced along. Oh, lets not forget this morning when you gave me 10 minutes to get ready but I didn't listenl. You hate when people don't obey your direct demand to the point that you will shoot them if they don't obey, but here I am. Alive," I grinned.

Before he could say a word, I cut him off. "And if you did kill me now, you still never break your deals no matter what situation you're in. Breaking a deal is one of your greatest pet peeve. So if you did kill me, knowing Kai, he would watch over Ethan and they would both drive away from this town before night hits. Then you can't do anything about it because of the deal you made so you would plan to take then out, in other words kill them when the month is over. By that time, knowing my little brother, he would have a plan to take you down and considering how smart he is, you would fail. So during that month, him and Kai will have a plan of attack and eventually, you will go after them but Ethan will be one step ahead of you and you will 100 percent fall into his trap and die. If I die, you will too," I finished off.

I watched as he looked at me baffled by my explanation. A gunshot then went off next to my ear causing me to scream and jump all at the same time. Victor had shot the locker next to me. A wicked smirk was on his face.

"Well done Freya. Although you've figure piece of it out, you've forgotten one thing," he stated as he shoved the gun behind him in the back of his sweats under his shirt.

"What's that?" I asked.

His hand roughly grabbed my face and his face was now 5 inches away from mine. "Despite me not killing you, you're forgetting I could do whatever I want with you. I could torture you to the point where you want to kill yourself but then make sure you recover so I can do it all over again. I know you had a nightmare about what happened last night. I could just carry you with me everywhere I go and make you watch it happen again and again and again. Like I said before, your nightmare isn't over Freya," he stated as he leaned closer. He then kissed my lips and I didn't move a muscle since I was pinned.

He pulled away and gave me a wicked smile, "It's just begun," he whispered before unpinning me. I stood frozen in my spot not knowing how to react.

"I will see you in 15 minutes," he smirked at me before turning to look at Cain. "Follow," he order Cain before walking down the hall and around the corner whilst Cain trailed behind him.

"Freya, are you okay?" Ethan shrieked as he ran over to me and hugged me.

I opened my mouth to say something but nothing came out. I wanted to throw up just by him kissing me but I had nothing in my stomach. I looked down at Ethan to see he had ink all over his hand.

"W-what happened?" I asked as I held his hand in mine. "Cain made my pen explode in my hand," he mumbled. I let out a sigh, "Go wash it out before it dries," I spoke in a soft tone, "I'll wait here for you," I gave him a small smile.

He nodded his head and walked down the hall. I watched as he opened the creaking heavy bathroom door and walked in. I then looked at Kai who was just staring at me with his shades on as usual. His hand raised up to my face and took off the shades. I watched as he tensed up a bit and frowned all at once when he saw my left eye.

Without saying a word, he pulled me into his chest and wrapped me in a hug. I wrapped my arms around him and burst out crying uncontrollably.

"I'm sorry I wasn't there," he mumbled as he rest his chin on my head.

My cry died down so I was just softly sobbing. "After we left the restaurant, he took me to his mansion because he had to take care of some business. When he was done I told him time was up and it was time for me to go home. When I exit the house a guy attacked me. Victor shot him and before he shot him, he told the guy that he cut his friend up in pieces. That's sick. Before the month is up, you have to take Ethan please and run. Get him and yourself out of this town. He will come for you both," I sobbed.

Kai gently pulled me away from his chest, "You've only known me for such little time but you seem to know me too well. I don't mind take care of Ethan but I'm not leaving you behind," he stated in a firm tone.

I shook my head, "You have too. He's not going to quit until we're dead. I've seen how this works before. He has something else plan and he's waiting for that moment to come," I shrieked.

Kia cupped my face, "Calm down. I'm not leaving this town without you and Ethan wouldn't leave too. You know that. He need you Freya. You're all he's got," Kai softly spoke.

I let out a sigh and slowly nodded my head. "Look, before the month is up, the three of us will be out of here somehow," Kai mumbled.

There was a moment of silence before he broke it. "Why did you make the deal?" he asked as he passed me back the sunglasses.

I took it from him and put it on. "It was either go on the stupid dinner thing and he wouldn't harm or touch you and Ethan or not go on it and one of us dies," I mumbled.

Before he could talk, we heard a creaking door open and I turned my head to the bathroom to see Ethan exiting the bathroom. I gave him a small smile as he looked my direction. He jogged over and tackled me with a hug. I hugged him back and soon pulled away.

"Let's grab some lunch," I chirped. He nodded his head, "Let me grab my bag," he hollered over his shoulder as he ran into the empty classroom across from us.

I turned to Kai who was already looking at me. "I never thanked you for looking after Ethan and not letting me fall on my face yesterday. Also sorry about soaking your hoodie," I thanked and apologized to him.

He shook his head and let out a chuckle, "No problem and I'm really sorry about what I said to you in the car earlier this week. I was just mad at you tackling me," he apologized. I nodded my head, "I guess we're even."

"So you two are friends now?" Ethan asked as he walked out the room with his bookbag.

Before I could answer, Kai beat me to it. "Sort off. Picture it this way, I'm Batman and she's Robin," he poked my sides causing me to laugh a little. I swatted his hand away and shook my head, "Why do I have to be Robin?" I asked.

"Cause you're short and I'm all muscles," he grinned whilst flexing his arms under his hoodie. I rolled my eyes even know he couldn't see it. "I'm still the smarter one. Even Hazel has more brains than you," I laughed.

His eyebrow rose under his shades, "Who's Hazel?" he asked.

Ethan chuckled and shook his head, "Just a friend you will hopefully meet one day," he stated as he walked in front of us as Kai and I trailed behind. I couldn't help but laugh at the idea of introducing Kai to a squirrel. That would be the day Kai sees us as actual insane people.

Kai hummed in response with a small smile on his face as we walked to the cafeteria.

Hopefully one day.
