**Time Skip**

-Natsuki's Reality-

I woke up and stretched. Was dad already gone..? Good.. I nervously got up and walked to the kitchen. I started pouring some cereal into a bowl. I heard the groans that could only be from him. His headache from drinking must be kicking in.

"NATSUKI!" He yelled as he stumbled to the doorway.

"Wh-What?" I squeaked.

"WHAT THE H*LL ARE YOU DOING?!"

"M-Making breakfast.."

"FOR WHO?!" He shouted.

"Y-You.." I sighed in defeat.

I would've been lucky if he had already left because then I would've been able to have an entire bowl of cereal...

"MAKE SURE ITS CEREAL!"

I nodded, "A-Alright.."

I poured milk into the cereal that was supposed to be mine. I put a spoon in the bowl and then walked it over to him. He was slouching on the couch and was glaring at me. I placed the bowl down on a coaster on the coffee table. I tried to walk off but I was yelled at by him again...

"NATSUKI TAKE THOSE STUPID PIGTAILS AND THAT BARRETTE OUT OF YOUR HAIR!"

"O-Ok.."

I walked off to the bathroom and pulled the hair ties out of my hair and took the barrette out. I put them into my sleeve hoping I could sneak them out. But they simply slipped out anytime I folded my arms. I sighed in defeat and placed them under my bed. I walked off and snuck two granola bars out and was able to eat them then dispose of the wrappers before my dad caught me. After that I quickly did my morning routine.

"I'm leaving for school.." I said.

No repose..I wasn't surprised.

I walked off to school after grabbing my backpack.

**Time Skip**

I looked over at Yuri who was reading. She glanced at me.

"Natsuki.."

"Yeah?"

"Why is your hair like that?"

A few other people in our class were looking at my hair as well.

"Um...well..wait. Why do you want to know?" I asked crossing my arms.

"Just curious.."

"Curiosity killed the cat.." I told her.

She shrugged.

"Want me to put it up for you?"

She pulled out two hair ties and a barret that seemed unused. As if reading my mind, she told me,

"I haven't ever used them..don't worry.."

I huffed and felt my face heat up a tiny bit.

"Y-Yes please.."

She nodded and placed her book down before walking over to me and putting my pigtails back up with her dark purple hair ties. She then put the dark blue barrette in my hair exactly where mine usually was. I was blushing lightly the whole time.

"Th-Thanks.."

"No problem..it was easy considering your height.." she laughed slightly.

"B-Baka.."

I fake hit her before we both walked to our seats.

Every so often while in class I'd notice I was staring at Yuri. She must've been able to tell because sometimes she'd turn around and look back at me with a tiny smile on her face when she realized it was me. Of course I'd have to look away as fast as I could. I noticed she passed a small, pink, folded up, piece of paper to a student behind her. A bunch of other students passed it along until it made its way to me. On the front it read my name.

I unfolded it and read it,

I blushed and huffed.

I grabbed a pink piece of paper of my own,

Well I wasn't looking at you! I was looking at someone around you who was doing something weird!

I waited patiently. I hurried up and scribbled down some notes that I had missed while watching the trail of people pass along our notes carefully.

I watched her read the final note from me and shrug. She re folded it and stuck it in her book with the others I sent to her.

**Time Skip**

I walked to the club room. Sayori was drawing what looked like a cat on the chalkboard, Monika wasn't in the room, and Yuri was reading the the manga I gave her.

"Where's Monika?" I asked Sayori.

She paused her drawing,

"She's practicing piano!" She chirped.

As if on cue I heard piano start to play.

Sayori started writing something on paper.

"Just kidding, we don't know..but if we ever find a special one then we'll use this song!" She chirped.

I blushed a bit thinking about what Sayori just said. I shrugged it off and walked over to a seat near Yuri.

...Did I really like her..? No of course not..! We're both girls anyways!

"Where's your ever famous cupcakes?" She asked.

I got up and went to go get them. I placed them on the desk that separated us.
