The Old V

I started to sneak down the stairs when a boomerang coming from the souvenir shop, disarmed the guy closest to me. I grabbed his gun then charged at him and pushed him into the next guy, then them both into the next guy, and on my way pushing them into the last guy he actually got a chance to take a shot, but he just hit his buddy. I pushed them all into a heap on the floor and pointed my gun at them until V had tied them all up with a rope she found in the souvenir shop. I went to check if A was actually in the trunk while V kept watch on the men who had given up their guns by now. When I opened the trunk, I felt a pang of sickness. A was all bloodied, unconscious, and tied up. Next to her was Journal 3. I couldn't see my friend like that. I untied her and we got in the vehicle. I started up the vehicle to tell V if was time to go. She approached the van without looking away from our attackers and got in. Before she even closed the door, I started backing up. We first went to the hospital and dropped A off, still unconscious, in the waiting room. If only I had saw her open one eye. After that we went to the library and bought flight tickets to Alexandria, Egypt online and got one of V's friends to hook us up with some fake passports because, you know, we're fugitives. A couple of days later, we boarded our flight. On the flight Vix and I finally had a chance to talk. Not about the Library but just a plain conversation, like the good old days. It was nice to finally see the old V again, nice, humorous, fun to be around, the kind of girl you want to be friends with, the kind that finds the best in you and makes it shine. After the flight, V went back to acting as if the old V is gone, but I just saw the old V and knew she was in there somewhere.
