I thought the dinner with Nate was one of my best dates ever but let me tell you I was so wrong. As he said he picked me up at 9 the next morning and we went out for breakfast, hit 2 museums, went to the aquarium which was absolutely amazing then we had dinner at Medieval Times. I always wanted to go there. It was amazing.

All day we held hands and stole kisses. I could not have asked for a more perfect day. When he dropped me off at home things got a little hot but once again he pulled away first. He told me he needed to talk to me about something important and would pick me up today at 9am. I was supposed to be at work for 8am but he convinced me to take a vacation day. I honestly didn't see the harm since I was about to lose my job anyways. Why not push an extra day off to be with the most amazing man I have ever met.

Going to bed last night I had another dream about wolves and Nate. You think it would have been a nightmare but being surrounded by wolves and running beside them made me feel free and loved. It was a crazy ass dream.

Since I woke up I could not shake this feeling. I just could not decipher if it was a bad one or a good one. Nate wanted to talk to me about something and it was important. For the life of me I couldn't think what it could be about. But what I did know was he was going to go back home soon. I never heard of the town he lived in but it was a little too far to do the long distance relationship thing.

I was already going through withdrawals not seeing him and he left not even 7 hours ago. Never mind the fact I was almost desperate to feel his bare skin against mine. I have never wanted to sleep with a man so badly in my life before. My body almost felt feverish. I was almost wondering if I should try to tease him enough to give in before he talked. It may be my one and only chance to be with him. But then again I think that would break my heart even more. I was already at the point I couldn't have a single thought without him being in it.

How could I fall for someone, need someone this much just after 2 days? It wasn't healthy at all and if I could think straight I would convince myself of that. It was 8:40 am and I paced my living room floor ready to jump out of my skin. I didn't want to look too eager but it was either wind myself up more or say screw it and wait outside for him to show.

Easy decision. Grabbing my keys and purse I was out my apartment door in less than a minute. Downstairs and outside in less the 5. Outside in the fresh air helped a bit. Ok not really fresh air since I live in the city but it still gave me more space then locked up surrounded by walls. I tried to sit on a bench which lasted maybe a total of 2 minutes. I started pacing again.

"Are you ok?" That beautiful voice came from behind me.

I was convinced now that something has taken over my body. This was not me and I had no control over my actions. I spun around on my heels and ran to Nate, jumped into his arms and attacked his lips with mine. I was like a starved animal in need of food.

Nate held me tight meeting my demands with his own. It was his chuckle that snapped me back to reality. I just attacked the main out in public! My cheeks flamed red and I loosened my legs that somehow ended up around his waist. And there went a deeper shade of red that took over my face. "Are you ready?" I nodded and he reluctantly put me back on my two feet. Taking my hand he guided me to the car.

Neither of us said anything for at least 20 minutes. My silence was due to embarrassment as well as wanting to get the man who sat beside me naked as soon as possible. Nate looked like he was doing a lot of thinking. That scared me a bit.

"What did you want to talk to me about?" My voice was steady which I was grateful for.

Nate tensed before he spoke. "We will talk once we get to where I want to take you."

I was kinda ok with that. I honestly loved surprises but not knowing was stressing me out a bit. As soon as we got in the car he held my hand but the farther we drove the more nervous I became and my leg started to shake. Nate released my hand and placed his hand on my thigh. Instantly I started to calm down a bit but I also became more aroused since he was rubbing my thigh up and down and coming closer to where I really wanted him to be.

I must have spaced out a bit in my little erotica daydream because the next thing I knew we were parked and he was out of the car and had my door open. As soon as I stepped out it was his turn to catch my lips with his. It was amazing that just his kiss alone could get me to forget my surroundings. Nothing else mattered except the man in my arms.

This time when he pulled back he also jumped back 2 feet, just out of touching distance. His face was flush and his lips swollen. The site alone had me bite off the moan that wanted to escape my lips.

"Ok I need you to trust me here. I need to talk to you then show you something. Please remember I would never hurt you or allow anyone else to either. Just please hear me out," he begged. Nate looked really nervous, almost scared. To be honest I was scared as well.

He took my hand and lead us towards the trees. I was glad I listened to him and wore comfortable shoes and clothing. I think we were going hiking. Or he was going to leave me in the middle of the woods and take off. I highly doubted that but after these past two days and how I felt something bad was going to happen.

He was walking a little faster and with his long legs I had to work twice as hard to keep up. After about 30 minutes I was already getting tired. I was about to say something when he spun around so fast that I banged right into his chest.

"Ok, here sit." He lead me to a fallen tree and sat me down while he paced in front of me. "Remember I will never hurt you. I could never hurt you," he said as he paced back and forth, never looking at me. I was getting scared again. Why is it when people say that it just makes the other person feel the opposite? I knew deep down he wouldn't but tell my head that.

"So there are...things you need to know about me before this goes any further. I know you will think I am crazy so I will show you that I am not. Just please don't run." He was standing still in front of me now. His eyes were soft and begged me to listen.

All I could do was nod. "First, I am pretty sure you feel this...thing between us." He moved his hand gesturing to me then him a few times.

I had to laugh. That was putting things mildly. "Yes." Was all I said.

"Good. good." He racked his hands through his hair and took a deep breath. "Ok here goes. You are my mate. My soul mate. The reason this pull is so strong is because it is what happens when my kind finds his one and only. The person that is made for him or her." He was watching me to make sure I was keeping up.

"Your kind?" I asked. Was that a miss quote?

He chuckled a bit. "Yeah, my kind. I am a wolf shifter. Or werewolf. We prefer to be called shifters and my other form is a wolf." He said as if that explained everything.

I sat there stunned and stared up at him. I was glad I was sitting or I was pretty sure my knees would have gave out. Was he serious? There is no way this beautiful, well kept intelligent man was crazy.

"You don't believe me," he sighed in disappointment. "Not that I blame you. I was just hoping this next part could have waited a bit. Remember I will not hurt you so please, please do not run." Nate sighed again and stared deep into my eyes a moment before he took off his black v neck sweater.

I probably would have said something but the man was breathtaking. His chest was wide and well defined. His arms were almost the size of my thighs, not that I had big thighs but still. Then there was his abdomen, which held a nice tight 6 pack. I was pretty sure my jaw dropped open. When he chuckled my eyes moved up to his face. He liked the way I looked at him. Hell I liked looking at him. It played havoc on my hormones.

It was when I seen him stop wiggling around that my eyes traveled down again. He was completely naked! Nothing came out of my mouth. No protests, nothing. He was very well proportioned and I was staring at him! When I heard him clear his throat my eyes snapped up and I could feel my face go an amazing shade of tomato red. Nate on the other hand looked pleased and proud.

"Remember no running," he said as he moved to his knees then to his hands.

I still sat frozen on the stupid fallen log and finally closed my mouth. I actually think I drooled a little. Watching Nate as he lowered his head I seen his shoulders flex than a shimmer seemed to cover his body. Then there was loud cracking noise then bones sticking out of his back. I watched in horror as the man I had spent the past couple days with was on all fours as his body started to change. My head screamed to run and this was impossible but my eyes took in everything from his spine bowing, his fingers growing longer to his ears shifting to the top of his head. After a few minutes a wolf stood proud where the once beautiful Nate was on all fours.

This gorgeous grey wolf with black ears sat in front of me and waited. The first thing that came to mind was my dream. I seen this wolf before.

"You were in my dreams," I said in complete awe.
