hola! i am aware that i've been inactive for close to three years now but i think i decided i would pay more attention to things i used to enjoy, such as writing.

this story has been marinating in my head for three years, and hopefully i will have the discipline to get through its entirety. i have a good chunk of it done, but again, it needs to be edited. it is possible that i will go over it again once its done. 

with that being said:

the characters do have an age gap and in some way, also a power dynamic. i would like to clarify that such things can turn out to be harmful in the real world, and thus i am reminding you that this is entirely fictional. i do not condone my character's actions and many times they are there just for the plot.

you can imagine the characters in whatever way you like, but i've chosen my main character, natasia, to be mixed bengali and greek. she does look like a brown girl and is described as such and this was mostly because i never see brown girls being described as sensual beings or attractive women, and it's to counteract that. brown women are beautiful and full of sensuality and i hope to do my people right with the representation for real.

this story is also in desperate need of editing but i will touch on that after the novel is finished, and also, you may know from the tags, this story is steamy and will have lots of adult themes. if you like it, keep reading, if not, that's ok. don't complain and say i didn't warn you tho ;)

next, natasia trusts alexander with a lot of things because she knows she can depend on him and he will not betray her trust. additionally, he is extremely supportive of her and he does not abuse his power. this is fictional so it works, but in real life? never lol
