Before I did anything that is, panicking over the fact that my boss had locked me inside his office, I moved over to the door of my office (which opened into my boss's aka mad man's office).

Damn it! The door didn't open. It was also locked. But why?

It looks like he had it all planned. Seriously, he's insane.

If only these doors weren't so fancy, I would've broken them so easily. I know these are all controlled by software and only he can open and close them.

If I were a poor little girly assistant, or to put it in an easy way, if I were normal that I was not, I would've fainted the very first time the door didn't open.

He thought I would faint in front of him and he would get a chance to see me miserable and weak.

I certainly wouldn't give him this much chance for entertainment.

Well, technically you've already fainted once in front of him.

Ugh, that's true. But I won't give him another chance.

You locked a very powerful woman inside, Sir. Who knows maybe I could break the walls.

Oh, really? asked my inner voice.

Who knows. Anything is possible.

I moved around the spacious office, thinking of all the possible ways I could get out.

'Please, Ava, don't you dare be scared of this all.' I advised myself.

Oh, my God, he bloody locked me inside. I moved around the room worriedly. He bloody locked a poor soul inside.

A poor soul?

Whatever, he locked me inside. That was the real problem.

I told you to not get scared.

How can I not get scared?

I AM LOCKED.

It's been twenty minutes since I've been trapped in this office.

The once calm office with the most peaceful environment, now seemed like a blazing hell.

Who likes to be trapped inside a place, all alone?

I started hyperventilating.

How dare he?

How could he?

When I'll get out of here, I am going to report this. Seriously, this is illegal.

Calm, Ava. Deep breaths.

I stopped in the middle of the room and took a deep breath.

Okay, I should call him. That's the only way. I will call him and ask him nicely.

I had done all the work and he had no right to do such thing.

Believe me, after this call and after I get out - he's going to pay for this. He really is. How dare he lock me inside? I am going to kill him and this time for real. I swear.

Really?

I was seriously pissed off. This was wrong. I couldn't help but sweat in a room with the best temperate possible.

I called him and waited.

Pick up the call, mister. What's talking him so long?

Locked me and now ignoring my call. Ugh!

Neither he picked the call nor he cancelled it.

I called him again.

Cancelled.

Okay, he cancelled my call. I called once again.

Again cancelled.

How dare he cancel my call--- twice? Well, he can, but not after locking me inside.

What the hell is he doing? Why isn't he picking up?

I thought of calling him again, but there was no point in calling. I was sure that he won't pick up, no matter what. I had to come up with a way to get out all by myself.

I called Kourt, but she said she was with her family and she couldn't come. But then she couldn't have done anything, but to keep me company and lessen my fear. Because she also couldn't open the damn door.

Only he could!

I couldn't hack into his computer and unlock the door myself because I knew how secured it was. Also I have no clue about hacking.

I looked everywhere and my eyes landed on the windows. The huge glass that surrounded the whole room. There was slight chance that one of these opened or something like that. I remembered that my room had a window. All I needed was to leave this room and go to my office, then I could leave easily.

I moved around the glass, looking carefully if it opened. To my surprise it did, but it was also secured by a password.

Seriously, why everything here is password protected.

Now I had nothing to do, but wait for him to come. Of course he was going to come and I'll be here waiting.

Fuming with anger, I drank some water from the dispenser and sat nicely on the couch that faced the door and waited.

That was all that I could do--- wait.

Trust me, Sir. You're going to regret doing it. If not today, one day you'll pay for locking me inside.

One complete hour passed. Still, he didn't come. I was about to drink another glass of water, when I received a message. I checked my phone. It was from--- Sir. I quickly opened it.

*"Miss Williams, you can leave when your work is completed."*

Is he kidding me? How am I supposed to leave when I'm locked here by him.

How could he send me this message?

He's really pissing me off more.

He's playing around with me.

AARON'S POV

I moved out of my office. This girl was really a pain in my ass. Blabbering all the time. Whenever I gave her some work, she's always whining about it and always barging in with her own ideas and thoughts. When will she know that I am the boss.

I knew I gave her so much work because I was pissed on the fact that she rejected my apology and didn't even took the tickets. Well, she deserves the work now. She should know that P.A have a responsibility and it's not just a game. She barely works well, I should fire her if this continues. I don't know why she's still here.

Today if she didn't complete this work, she's going to be in serious trouble.

I spotted Christian and Jordan moving to the parking lot. Jordan sometimes really annoys me. Why did he has to bring Christian with him? I didn't like this. I care for Christian so much and I can't let anything happen to him, but with Jordan--- maybe Miss Williams was right. Jordan might not be a good company for Christian, but then Christian loves him.

"Next time don't take him here," I came near Jordan and murmured. "I don't like it."

"Take it easy, man," he said patting on my back and said looking at Christian, "he's a big boy."

Jordan winked at him.

"He's not!" Irritated, I passed Jordan my deadly glare.

We walked to my car.

"Man, she's hot." Jordan whispered because of Christian.

"Who?" I raised my brow, looking around. I saw no girl around, but then Jordan can spot a girl from miles away.

"Your assistant." He said dreamily.

I shook my head.

I saw Christian excitedly sitting in the passenger seat, he might be expecting me to take him to some ice cream spot.

"You know she was the girl I told you about."

"You tell me about million girls." I wasn't giving much attention to him. I would've if it was worth listening. He hasn't changed a bit. Finds a pretty girl, sleeps with her and then dumps her--- repeat.

"No, the girl that punched me in the bar," he said excitedly. Seemed like he really liked Miss Williams. "Your assistant was that girl. She was drunken as hell that time."

"Hmm." I knew Miss Williams, it wasn't a surprise to know that she punched someone. If she would kill someone, I think that too won't be a surprise to me. I had to admit, she was quite strong.

"You're not fucking her?" He asked raising his brow with--- concern.

I frowned at him. That was the stupidest thing I ever heard.

"No." I said disgusted by his question. Miss Williams, no way, not that she has any flaw--- she's just not my type and she's very rude, ill mannered and I don't fuck my staff.

"Oh, you're still with that red-haired girl?"

"I was never with Gina. She's mom's best friend's daughter."

"I'm glad you're not." He signed. "She even tried to hit on me, when she was supposed to hit on you."

I chucked admitting, "Yeah, mom sent her specially to hit on me."

"Daddy!" I heard Christian cry from the car. He was waiting.

"So, I can sleep with your assistant?" He asked like a small boy asks for his parents to buy him his favorite toy sports car.

I was surprised. I replied, "Man, do whatever you want, but I think there's a possibility she won't sleep with you."

"You think I'm not hot."

I chuckled and patted on his shoulder, "Best of luck!"

He rolled his eyes.

"Okay, you have your car, right?" I asked my brother, moving near my Audi R8.

He nodded and I got inside my car.

"Ice-cream!" Christian shrieked.

"No." I denied. He got sick a few days ago and doctors told me not to give him any cold stuff.

"Daddy, please." He looked so cute, sitting on the passenger seat with his shoes on. I really didn't like doing this.

"Cookie, I can't. You very well know what doctors said." I moved my hands through his blonde, soft, silky hair.

Just like hers.

I shook my head to get rid of this thought.

I looked up front and held the steering wheel, looked at Christian once again, sitting folding his arms and looking really angry.

I powered the engine and roared it to my house. Parking the car in the garage, I was still in car when Christian opened the door and hurried out.

Oh, cookie.

I got out and saw him running off to his room. I took off my coat and Mrs. Elliot took it. I followed him to his room. When I got inside his room, he was lying on the bed, his eyes fixed on his iPad.

I smiled looking at him. I leaned with the door, waiting for him to say something.

He looked at me, but then angrily looked back at the screen.

I moved to him and got on the bed. I took iPad from him and put it on the side-table. He tried to snatch from me. He took the iPad once again from the table. Before he could switch it on, I started tickling him.

He first forced himself not to laugh, but he gave in. He started laughing.

"Daddy, stop." His laugh and giggle was like a beautiful, soothing melody to my ears.

I stopped and he sat on the bed beside me on the bed's edge.

"Cookie, I promise we'll eat ice-cream together when your doctor will tell that you can."

He nodded his head looking down and then he hugged me. I kissed on his head.

"Okay, I'm going to take a bath now," I got up. "we'll eat then."

I went to my room, put my wallet and stuff on table near my bed.

I should inform Miss Williams's parents, even though they should know that it's normal for me to take extra work when it's important.

I called them, her mother picked the call.

After hello, I told her mother, "I needed to inform you that your daughter will be working late tonight, so she'll be free around 10 something."

Her mother said, "But she usually comes late."

I was a bit surprised by listening to this. I said goodbye, but it really was weird. Office hours end at 7:00 and she usually comes home late. I don't care about what this stupid girl do, all I care is about my office's reputation.

I stood under the shower and cleared my mind. I heard my phone ringing, but I ignored it.

It ringed once again, but before I could do something, it stopped ringing, someone might've cancelled it.

Good!

I continued showering. It ringed once again, but again it missed.

Maybe it's some important call. I got out and wrapped a towel around my waist. As I walked into my room, Christian was on my bed playing on my iPhone.

"Who was calling?" I asked moving up to him.

"Your new just-assistant."

"You didn't pick up the call?"

"No, I was playing Candy Crush." He said handing me the phone.

I grabbed the phone. "What happened to your iPad?"

"Low battery!" He exclaimed getting off of bed and moving out.

Miss Williams might have done her work, I should message her.

I typed in a quick message and sent her.

*"Miss Williams, you can leave when your work is completed."*

SENT!

I wonder why Miss Williams was calling. I think she might want to inform me that she has finished work. Well, there's no need to call back, I'll go to office after dinner and check out myself.

I wore black jeans and a white t-shirt over it.

I walked to the dining table where Christian was already sitting. Mrs. Elliot served us the delicious, mouth-watering dinner she prepared. We both ate.

Christian soon went to sleep after I read his bedtime story to him.

Now I decided to go to office, see if Miss Williams really did her work.

I walked inside the elevator and entered my office. I opened the door and the first thing I saw was--- Miss Williams, sitting.

Why is she still here?

She's really a slow worker.

Our eyes met. She looked angry. She got up from the couch and picked up few files and came near me. She handed all the files to me violently. "These are the designs and other stuff has been e-mailed you." She looked at me, her eyes burning with anger. "I did this all two hours ago," she added.

I managed to hold the bundle of files.

Then why didn't you leave, stupid lady?

I placed the files back on the table. She moved to the door and turned, "I need to ask something."

"Yes."

"Why did you lock me inside?" Her voice was barely audible.

Why is she sad?

"What?" I didn't understand what she just said. Locked her? Why would I lock her?

"Oh, now you're not going to agree." Her voice rose.

"Hey, I didn't lock you or did anything of the sort." I was getting a little annoyed. Why was she blaming me for something I didn't do?

She glared at me and then shut the door violently.

She really has no manners.

In a fit of fury, I moved to the door.

I opened it.

It--- it didn't open.

What the hell?

I pushed it once again.

Hell?

"Miss Williams, if you're doing something or you've locked me. This is not a joke. Open the door immediately." I exclaimed pushing the door once again.

I didn't get any reply.

"Miss Williams!" I bashed my fist on the door.

I heard her--- laughing.

She locked me inside?

The fuck?
