In the midst of the vortex, Naruto sensed body signatures dropping and being sent towards Kenjaku, who floated above everyone.

"Well, this test run seems to be amusing, but it seems my adversaries have also followed me to this world. I will have to deal with you all sooner before this becomes a problem."

Sai flew in on his birds intending to collide with him, but Kenjaku summoned a mantaray beast, narrowly dodging the ink creatures, playing keep away as it effortlessly dodged Sai's hunt. The pale ninja of the ANBU prestige jumped to fight him with kenjutsu.

Using quick strikes from his slow blade, Kenjaku grew impressed from the rotating onslaught of the Playful Cloud being blocked and parried, but as he went for the strike, Kenjaku endured it and gut slammed Sai into the building.

"Get back here, Yuji yelled."

"Make sure Sukuna is handled well. I'll need both of you for the merger intact...even if his ultimate plan just so happens to align with my goals," blasting off out of the Leaf Village.

"Barrier Division, after him!"

Ino's mental commands got them to pursue while she went to tend to Sai, who was able to stand despite his injuries. In the meantime, Yuji turned to the Leaf 12, wondering what to do next.

From below, someone nearby was watching them with shadows.

"Itadori, it seems like he's-"

"Megumi, do we need to intervene? Agh!"

"Let your injuries heal, Maki. How's Inumaki and Panda?"

"Arm can't regrow and Panda's still shaken up. Are you just gonna let them take him?"

"The pineapple head's shadow technique might be able to intercept my own, and he looks perceptive. You're sure it's us, the Kyoto students, Nitta with Nobara, and this Choso guy?"

"Unless you think the Disaster Curses survived."

"I'll keep watch," slipping back into the shadows as he heard shinobi tracking in on his location. Must be sensor ninjas tracking down foreign locations. Probably best I shut down my curse technique and head back into the forest.

Megumi Fushiguro remembered the last time he spoke to Yuji in Shibuya, wondering if summoning Mahoraga was worth it.

No, if I can't rely on my own powers to save my friend, I have no worth showing myself to Gojo or anyone else, promising to get Yuji out of this predicament, and keeping his distance, watching his friend be led by the oddly colorful clothes of people that called themselves ninja.

At least they seem to be good people. But what does Kenjaku plan to do with them?
