Naruto was sitting on the ground meditating on top of his father's head on Hogake monument. He started to meditate after his now sensei Dog-san told him to do it so he can get into the habit of it to calm himself down.

"I wonder what Dog-san will have me do today, maybe we can start by unlocking my chakra" thought Naruto slightly excited.

A couple minutes later a figure body flickered and walked over to him and sat down.

"Hello Naruto how is your meditation going" asked Kakashi looking at Naruto.

"It's going good but I'm excited to start training" said Naruto as he stopped meditating and looked at Kakashi.

"Well that's good then, so let's get started" said Kakashi as he sat down and took off his dog mask.

"Wait Dog-san I thought you couldn't show me your face since your part of Anbu" said Naruto with some slight concern.

"Don't worry I fully trust you not to run around and tell people who I am, also Hokage-sama gave me permission to show you who I am" said Kakashi.

"Wow.. so what do I call you then?" Asked Naruto.

"When I'm not wearing my mask you can call me Kakashi or Kakashi sensei since I'll be training you. But how about we introduce each other and learn about one another before we get started training" said Kakashi.

"Ok well my real name is Naruto Uzumaki Senju and I like ramen, foxes, my precious people like you, Jiji, and Toad Jiji. I also like being put in nature and learning new stuff.

I don't like arrogant people or those who look down on others for no reason, I also don't like people who use others for personal gain.

My hobbies are training, learning more about Fuinjutsu and other stuff my parents and family knew, I also like staying outside in nature.

My dream is to restore my home country and rebuild my clan as well as become Hokage.... And to make my parents and family proud..." said Naruto.

Kakashi couldn't help but smile and he reached over and pulled Naruto into a side hug where he then ruffled his red hair a little.

"And I'll be sure to help you with as much as I can and I know your parents are proud of you Naruto" said Kakashi.

"Thank you Kakashi sensei... Oh what about you?" Said Naruto.

"Let's see... I like reading and spending time with you, I don't like traitors or those who abandon their comrades. And my dream..." Said Kakashi "is to help you become a great ninja and accomplish your dreams" "I'm not sure what my dream is".

"Oh so what will we be doing today Kakashi sensei?" Said Naruto excitedly.

"Well first we have to unlock your chakra then we'll work on you getting a good grasp on it, once we do that I'll start with your physical training. Once your up to strength I'll start teaching you how to fight and be a ninja" said Kakashi.

Naruto looked up at Kakashi and had stars in his eyes "yea let's get started dattebayo".

"Same verbal tic as his mother.." thought Kakashi "alright well let's head to a training area Hokage-sama told me I'll be able to train you in".

Kakashi stood up with Naruto following his actions before he placed his arm on Naruto's head and body flickered away.

Kakashi and Naruto both stood in a big training plain area surrounded by forest, the training grounds was mainly woods and had a small river through it. In the center of it stood 3 wooden stumps.

Kakashi looked over and saw Naruto who was on all fours and looked to be trying not to throw up.

"Hehe sorry I forgot that usually happens to people the first time they body flicker, my bad" said Kakashi rubbing the back of his head in embarrassment.

"It's... Ok... Just give.. me a heads up..next time" said Naruto who slowly stood up and wiped his mouth.

"Ok well good but It's time we get started, this is training grounds 7 and here we'll be training away from prying eyes" said Kakashi. What he didn't tell Naruto was that the squad of Anbu that usually guards him are now in the woods making sure Danzo doesn't pull anything.

"Ok so how do I unlock my chakra?" Asked Naruto.

"Ok first step is to get into the lotus position, then I want you to relax and take deep calm breaths through the nose and out the mouth" instructed Kakashi.

Naruto did as told and kept taking deep breaths until he felt much calmer "ok now what?".

"Next I want you to keep repeating this while you meditate, while your meditating I want you to search deep within yourself. You'll feel something warm and I want you to grab hold of it and not let go for that is your chakra. Also don't get angry if you can't get it your first time it usually takes multiple days to unlock your chakra" said Kakashi.

Naruto nodded and started meditating like Kakashi instructed him and he searched deep within himself for his chakra.

A couple hours passed and Naruto started to get annoyed that he wasn't feeling it and was about to complain when he heard someone talk.

"Calm down Naruto, much like Kakashi said this is your first time so don't get angry, you have to remain calm to find your chakra" said Kurama.

"K-kyuubi.. I didn't know you could contact me so easily.. and If so why didn't you contact me sooner?" Said Naruto mentally.

"Because you didn't need my help, you were very cautious when going through your parents stuff that I didn't see the need to help. Also I've always been able to contact you, you can thank your father for that" said Kurama.

"Oh well.. it's actually kinda nice to talk with you again.. um... Do you have any advice to help with this?.." said Naruto mentally.

Kurama couldn't help but chuckle lightly because the same thing happened with Kushina when she tried and it was only thanks to Mito. That she was able to unlock her chakra "your on the right path but here's a hint, when you find your chakra let it come to you don't come to it".

"Right.. thank you Kyuubi" said Naruto before he went back to meditating.

30 more minutes passed until Naruto finally saw his chakra and he was about to reach out and grab it when Kyuubi's words came back to him. So he stood there waiting for his chakra to come to him, he watched it slowly come to him and when it was Infront of him he slowly grabbed it. When he did he felt a massive warmth pass over him and he felt like he could sense everything but stronger this time.

Kakashi who has been sitting nearby happily reading his book for the past 4 hours looked up and was about to tell Naruto to call it a day when he felt it.

Naruto's chakra exploded out of him so powerfully that it could actually be seen, he watched as it cracked the ground below him from it's potency. Kakashi could also see that the plant life around Naruto was growing like crazy and seemed to be alive.

"N-NARUTO STOP YOUR RELEASING TO MUCH CHAKRA!" yelled Kakashi hoping to get Naruto to stop.

Luckily Naruto heard him and stopped expelling his chakra, he opened his eyes and tried to stand up before he fell over in exhaustion.

Kakashi quickly caught him and couldn't help but smile at the now unconscious Naruto.

"Good job little brother.." said Kakashi quietly before he body flickered away with Naruto.

"Ugh... W-where am I.." said Naruto looking around in a room he didn't recognize and in a bed that wasn't his.

Naruto looked over to the shelf next to him and saw 3 photos, one had a young boy with white hair smiling happily while on the shoulders of a man who looked like him.

The other photo had the same boy but now had a mask on and was standing next to 2 other kids around his age. One of them had a tooth pick in his mouth and was wearing a pair of goggles over his eyes while the other one had short brown hair and purple markings on her face with a massive smile. The last person in the photo was Naruto's dad who had a smile on his face as well.

The final photo was one with the same kid well now teen standing in front front of Minato who wore his kage hat. The other person in the photo was his mother who had a small bulge in her stomach and had a massive fox like grin on her face.

"I see that your up" said Kakashi walking into the room.

"Um yeah... Oh um where am I?" Said Naruto.

"Hehe your in my apartment, after you passed out I had to take you here since I couldn't take you to your house" said Kakashi.

"Oh.. well thank you and who are these people" said Naruto pointing to the people In 2 of the photos he didn't recognize.

"Well the first one is me and my father and the other one is me and my teammates Rin and Obito" said Kakashi.

"Wow.. they seem like nice people" said Naruto before he felt some sadness coming from Kakashi.

"Yes... They were..." Said Kakashi with memories coming back to him "anyways I'm sure your hungry and I made us some dinner so let's go".

Naruto felt bad for asking but nodded and got up and followed Kakashi to the table where 2 bowls of rice mixed with meat and some veggies were.

"I hope you like it" said Kakashi before he defied all logic and started eating with the food going through his mask.

Naruto sat there in his chair beyond confused and heard Kurama voice his thoughts.

"I've been alive for over a thousand years... But this seriously has me confused..." Said Kurama beyond confused.

Naruto simply nodded in agreement and grabbed his chopsticks before he started eating.

"Wow Kakashi sensei this tastes really good!" Said Naruto who started eating slightly faster.

"Hehe it's nothing but some fried rice and chicken with some veggies and teriyaki sauce put on it" said Kakashi.

"Still this is really good, hey maybe you can teach me how to cook more things, I asked Kyuubi but he wasn't to sure how to" said Naruto before he realized what he said.

"Don't worry Naruto I'm aware of him, but sure I can teach you a thing or two on how to cook" said Kakashi.

After they ate and Kakashi gave him the schedule they'll be doing for training him, he dropped dropped Naruto off at home before he went to Hokage tower.

"So Kakashi how did his first day of training go?" Said Hiruzen looking up from his paperwork.

"I'm sure you felt it Hokage-sama but his chakra is very powerful and dense and it cracked the ground below him as well as make the plant life around him grow" said Kakashi.

"Hmm I see... Thank you Kakashi, keep up with training him and make sure your team keeps this a secret as best as you can. The last thing we need is for Danzo to find out he has mokuton" said Hiruzen.

"Very well Hokage-sama" said Kakashi before he body flickered away.

Hiruzen let out a deep sigh before he grabbed a letter from the new Raikage.

"Dear Hokage-dono I formally apologize for the incident that happened from my father's greed and lust for power. I sincerely hope you accept my deepest apologies and I am willing to work for a non aggression pact and a possible trade agreement"

Hiruzen read over the letter and took another deep breath "at least we have hope and maybe we can have a longing peace".

In the land of vegetables in a casino was a fair-skinned woman with brown eyes and straight blonde hair that parts above her forehead. Her hair is shoulder-length bangs that frame her face and the rest reaches her lower-back. in two loose ponytails.

"Hello Hime" said a voice she hasn't heard in 4 years.

She slowly turned around and looked at her husband Jiraiya.

"Hello Jiraiya..." Said Tsunade.

Jiraiya walked over to her and sat down next to her and took a deep breath "we have a lot to talk about...".

"I know..." Said Tsunade with her head down.

"I know your grieving from the loss of our son but... Why did you abandon our grandson..." Said Jiraiya.

Tsunades entire world froze as she shakily turned and looked at Jiraiya with wide eyes and tears threatening to come out.

"W-what..." Said Tsunade in complete shock.

Jiraiya reached into his pocket and pulled out a picture that showed Naruto happily smiling while sitting on a big toad that Jiraiya summoned. He handed it over to her and looked at the shocked and horrified look on her face.

She slowly grabbed it and felt tears streaming down her face because of this photo... It was her grandson... Her son's child... The last link to her family...

"N-naruto..." Said Tsunade with a choked sob as more tears streamed down her face.

She missed his first words, his first steps, him happily spending time with her. All these thoughts ran through her head as memories of Minato came back as well.

"That's not all... He also has mokuton... And Danzo has his sights on him..." Said Jiraiya.

Tsunades eyes snapped open as she stood up and started walking to the nearest wall. She walked right up to his and cocked back her fist and destroyed it.

Jiraiya quickly put down more than enough money to cover the damage and quickly ran out of the casino after her. He immediately realized the direction she was going, she was on a war path to the hidden leaf and nothing was going to stop her.

"T-tsunade-sama" yelled Shizune running up to catch up with her master.

"Grab our things we're heading to the hidden leaf" said Tsunade with rage in her voice.

"Tsunade wait!" Said Jiraiya jumping in front of her but was met by a chakra enhanced fist to the face that sent him flying.

Jiraiya slammed against a tree and was about to get up before Tsunade grabbed the front of his shirt and violently lifted him up.

"I'M NOT WAITING ANOTHER DAMN MINUTE JIRAIYA I ABANDONED MY GRANDSON... MY.. grandson..." Said Tsunade before she fell to her knees and started sobbing. "I can't... I can't loose him to Jiraiya... We already lost Minato... I can't loose him too... I don't care if he hates me since I abandoned him... I...".

Jiraiya slowly reached down and pulled her into a hug letting her cry her eyes out from all the pain.

"What... What kind of grandmother doesn't even... Know about her grandchild and abandon him..." Said Tsunade.

"Wait how didn't you know about Naruto, I thought you left him" said Jiraiya confused.

"No... I can't remember clearly but someone came in and told me him, Minato, and Kushina died after the attack..." Said Tsunade before she grabbed her head in pain.

Jiraiya quickly looked and saw on the side of her head a memory seal was placed, he quickly placed his hand on it and destroyed the seal.

When he did Tsunade's eyes snapped open as the memories of that day came flooding back in but not clearly enough for her to make out the person who told her.

"I can't remember who it was... But he had very dark chakra..." Said Tsunade.

"Alright we'll work on who lied to you later but first" said Jiraiya who handed her a letter "read this".

Tsunade opened and her eyes went wide when she read it.

"Dear Tsunade Senju I Fire Daimyo of the hidden leaf along with Hiruzen Sarurobi the third Hokage give you permission to save your grandson. Naruto Uzumaki Senju by any means necessary even if it requires you kill a person of the hidden leaf".

Tsunade re-read the letter and smiled "Naruto... I'm coming to save you".
