First kill
A few weeks passed by till the first full mood was slowly starting to move high up in the sky, this would be the first time Naruto would change. He was warned that it could take him over, something he did not understand, yet she told him he would when the first full moon would show itself to him.
He was currently outside the house just sitting, Aela was late coming home which slightly worried him. He had gotten used to having her around even if she did say at times she would be gone, he just hoped she would be safe while she was gone. He did know that she had no true reason to stay in this village, nor in the shinobi lands.
He started to walk around the forest, he did know she told him to stay inside the house yet something about him made him want to go outside. Then again, he was never one that was good at listening to what other people told him to do. From his pranks to simply not wanting to listen, he was good at doing what he wanted to do.
This time it was not because of a prank or wanting to do something, there was something pulling him, something about the outside made hime want to be there. There was this new feeling, feeling of wanting to be free of everything. To let it all go, to be free and never look back at everything in this world.
Soon he found outside changing, turning into a werewolf for the first time, his senses becoming more awakened, hearing far better than he ever heard. Smelling things, he never would have before in his life, something more beastlike was awaking inside of him. He looked around, his vision far clearer than it had ever been before, he slowly walked around feeling just how bigger he really was.
He started to hear yelling, which caused us to wonder who could be out there. He did know no one else lived in the forest of death beside the animals, to hear yelling like this. To hear voices at all was something that caused him to wonder just who made these sounds.
He did know the voice did not sound like Aela, even though he wanted to make sure it was not her, he cared about her. The closer he got there, he could notice there was group of woman, being tied up what looked to be bandits, which he found it odd.
He had a feeling that he noticed some of these women from the village, part of him just wanted to turn around to leave them to their fate. He stopped to look back over once more, yet he did know if he turned his back on them then he would be no different than the ones that hurt him. That he would not be any different these heartless bastards that almost killed him.
Had the villagers really won, had he let them destroy his kindness and caring side, was it gone or was it still inside of him? He started to walk towards the camp, the mini looking werewolf was still immensely powerful even if he did not truly realize that.
Naruto headed right for the men, when they noticed them, they were taken back by just what they were seeing. No one believed in werewolves so when they seen what looked to be a min werewolf, they did not know what was going on.
"Just what the hell is this freak?" One man asked, the word freak just caused Naruto to let out a growl of angry.
He always hated that word, yet he hated being called it and just the word alone was something that caused his blood to rush. He rushed the man that called him that, he tries to block Naruto's attack only for his arms to be ripped off with ease.
Naruto looked down at his bloody claws, slowly realizing just how strong his claws really were because he did not realize he could cut their arms off that easy. It was like it was nothing to him, his eyes moved to the rest of the men. He could see the one that he attacked fall to the ground died from blood lose.
"I don't know what the hell you are, but you are going to die for that, do you hear me?" Man yelled rushing at Naruto with a katana.
Naruto moved to arms to block it only for the katana to break in half on impact against his furry arms, both looked in shock. He looked at his arms to see no cut at all, yet he looked down at the broke part of the katana laying on the ground.
He looked over at the women that were tied up, he looked back over at the men. He did know that he was no monster, yet he was not going allow them to get away with what they had done, nor what they were going to do.
Naruto ripped and tore through the whole group without any mercy, something in him unlocked and this beast fury was almost uncontrollable. The way he moved, the way he was fighting his enemies, the way it all felt. This new rush of emotions and feelings, this sense of wildness and freedom.
The little kid that had to hide every year on his birthday, the kid that always had to put up with attacks in his life, that kid was gone. This kid no longer had to hold back, no longer had to run from anyone, he felt like he was unkillable. He no longer felt like the weak victim but someone strong enough to finally defend himself against anyone and everyone.
When he finished off the last of the bandits, he walked over to the women. They were scared, yet he did not blame them. He had just ripped apart the group of bastards like it was nothing, something no one should ever have to watch in their life.
He cut the ropes with his claws before running back into the forest of death, he did not want them to learn who he was. What he did not know was saving them would change his life for the future in many ways, some huge ways, and other smaller waves of change. Something he would never have guessed.
When the moon faded and the sun started to show, Naruto could feel his body growing smaller and turning back into his human form. He looked to see Aela watching him, her eyes looked like she was trying to study him.
"How are you feeling, you not only controlled the beast fury to some level on your first time, yet you also killed. You killed to save these women, you still took another life and that will never be easy no matter how many times you do it." She warned him.
"It felt so unreal, before fighting them my sense felt so much stronger. Like I could hear so well, even the sound of heartbeats going through someone's chest. My sense of smell also got stronger, but my speed was the biggest thing that changed. I thought I could run so fast like I was made of wind, my strength was insane. That even a katana would break against my arms like that, I never thought I would see that in my life." He explained to her.
"You are learning fast, I do know one thing Naruto, never let it control you. You are the one that always needs to be in control. Now let us wash you up, we cannot have you smelling like blood nor having it still covering you like that." She waved him over.
Hana was finally walking inside her home, still in bad condition due to what the bandits did to her and her friends. She could not believe she let these men beat her, if she had not lost then her friends would not have been forced to give up due to her being taken.
"What's wrong dear, you look like hell? Did something happen?" Tsume asked her genin daughter.
Hana had filled her mother in, she was looking down, yet her mother pulled her into a loving embrace. She was surprised, she had never seen her mother do something like this, yet she did need this from her mother.
"You have nothing to feel shamed about, you are just a genin still learning how to be strong and growing still. You just need to take this night to heart and let it be the reason you grow stronger, so nothing happens like that again. "She had told her daughter.
"I know but what was that, are werewolves real?" She simply countered.
"I do not know but it is something me and the Hokage need to find out about, if werewolves are real then it could be a problem for everyone. It said getting bitten by one can turn you into one, so if these mythic beings are real, it could be good or bad thing for the village." Tsume told her, talking with her for awhile before leaving to see the Hokage.
Soon after the Hokage along with Tsume and Kakashi was walking inside the forest of death, to figure out what this thing was. Tsume started to smell something that caused her to look at the older man, her eyes narrowed.
"Why do I smell Naruto-kun here, is he hiding from the villagers again?" Tsume let out a growl in anger.
"He maybe living out here, there was woman that took him in, my guess would be that she lives outside the village." The older man pointed out.
They arrived at Naruto's place, they looked to see him slowly walk out yet his eyes just stared at the group.
"Why are you here so late, did something happen?" Naruto simply asked the Hokage.
"Naruto you need to go inside, and I'll talk with them, this is something you do not need to worry about." Aela stated before telling him to go inside while she walked outside the house.
Once Naruto was inside and the door was closed, her eyes looked over at the aged man yet studying the other woman. She did know she was not a werewolf yet the feral look she had made her wonder just who she was.
"I know why you are here, I had to save Naruto's life in doing so I had to turn him into one of my kind. Yes, he was the one that ripped about these would be rapist that had your shinobi tied up and if it were not for him, they would be killed or worse." She finished, she had seen no point in hiding or lying about anything.
"Tell him that I said thank you, one of these girls was my daughter and I did not think werewolves could be real. To think stories that scared people at night could be true, makes you wonder what else could be real." Tsume pointed out.
"Many things are real, from werewolves, vampires, and even real demons, unlike how your village sees Naruto, he is no demon. I should know because I have seen true demons, true monsters that would scar you forever." She countered.
"I will be training him to control the beast within, it takes time, but he will be able to use it anytime he wants to. He will be strong enough to defend himself again anything in this world, I will make sure of that. He was once the one that was hunted, one that was chased but no more, now he is the one that hunts. He will be the one that picks to spare someone life or to end it, this village made a mistake treating him badly, only time will tell if he gives into that hate or lets it all go." Aela warned them.
"I know this village had done much wrong to the poor boy, but I do also know that I hope that he keeps being the Naruto that I know. The Naruto that cares for others, that he will never let these foolish people change him for the worse. I am just a foolish old man myself, for not having the power to give him a better life." Hokage admitted.
"Soon he will have to go to the shinobi school, there he will learn how to become stronger along with his wolf side. I do not think anyone could hurt him by the time he is a full adult, so we will have to see how he grows up." Kakashi pointed out.
"The life of this village, the duties that everyone does and missions that they go on. It is true that only the strong survive yet I think Naruto-kun will do simply fine, he will learn to grow and become someone to be feared." Tsume smirked, she slowly turned around and headed home.
The two men followed her, even if Aela was unsure of what this feeling was. She did not dislike it, yet she felt something odd about it. She just shrugged her shoulders before heading back inside, she had a lot of training to do with him tomorrow.
The next morning, she was already in the middle of training him into the ground, she did know she had no time to go easy on him. She did not even know fi she would stay here long or if she would be going on her way again.
"You still have much to learn, then again you are still a kid." She taunted him with a smirk showing.
"I'll show you!" He proudly yelled before rushing at her.
She knocked him down once more, although she did know that he was learning faster than anyone she had ever met before. It was like something about him that gave him this quick learning, even if he did not realize it himself.
He was not smart like some book readers, because this was more of how his body learned to adapt all on its own. That mixed with his stamina that let him train till he would pass out, made him to be the perfect student for her. She also did know there was no way to make him smarter, due to his rashness and wanting to keep others safe.
When they stopped for the day, Naruto just went to sit down outside, his eyes watching the animals moving around the house. Something about him wondered just what life would be in the future, what could he do to help people and was it best to be the Hokage.
Soon a year had passed, it felt to him like nothing at all due to him always training, he barely even noticed the time passing him by. He did know he was growing stronger, but he did notice his body becoming more toned. Even with all that noticing, time just seemed so different to him, nothing like it used to be.
Aela was there and at times gone, he did know he was used to her randomly leaving him alone for a month or two at a time, it was something that felt odd to him. He did know she had her reasons, the things she was looking for seem to be dear to her. During the times he was alone, he still trained and trained like there was nothing else to do in this world.
Was he training for some important reason or was it just because he felt like it was the only thing he could do? Was he training to become the next Hokage still or was there some new goal he just did not know yet? There was a void in his heart, something lacking, and he just could not figure out what it was lacking nor when it even started.
Aela told him being this werewolf was all good benefits, was there something that you utterly lose when you become one? Was this void due to him becoming one, was there something that no one realized they lose after coming back to life? This werewolf's blood saved his life, yet it was leaving him feeling semi lost and lacking. What was he missing, what did he give up or lose along the way to coming back to life?
He was not that foolish to think that all this power would come free, anything and everything has consequences, nothing is free. Nothing is simply given to you without something following right behind it. He started to wonder if Aela also felt this way, he just never did know how to truly ask her without hurting her or making her mad.
