I am a writer from FF moving over to here, so I hope everyone will this story. It is one of many that I will be posting on here.

Naruto was walking right up to Nick only he could see the members of the Avengers only he just stopped next to them. He did not have anything against these people, just that he was not like them. He was what you would call a hired kill, a merc who did everything for money.

He was having a very good morning with his lover only when he got called by Fury that happy morning ended. He didn't like being called in the morning by someone he really didn't like at all, he never liked Fury. The things the man did had rubbed Naruto the wrong way many times over, from his lying to his backhanded deals.

"So why have you asked me to come here Fury? I mean to call me right in the middle of the morning without giving me a reason?" He asked, his eyes showed clearly that he was not happy.

He didn't enjoy being told to meet him without even being told what it was even about, man just couldn't be trusted. Then again with everything Naruto lived through he doesn't trust anyone.

Nick just placed a metal case in front of him before walking back to where he was. "I want to hire you and for you to be a member of the Avengers because Tigra can't work right now, being down one isn't good in my eyes." He answered him.

Naruto glared at him because he did not want Fury saying anything about that topic to anyone at all. It was something they weren't ready to tell anyone, yet he talks of it so freely like that, it caused him to make a fist. This was one of the reasons he hated this man, he wanted to walk up to him and punch him so badly.

"Why can't Tigra work and why do you want this person of all people to work with us? We have the final say in these like this not you Nick." Captain told him before he looked over at Naruto with questionable look.

Naruto didn't blame Captain American from looking at him like that or even being upset with all of this. It wasn't his idea to join the team only Tigra did made a joke of him joining the team last night before the two of them went to bed.

"Should I tell them or should you Naruto? Also think of this as the favor you own me from before or do you not want to keep your world captain?" Nick just smirked before he sat down in his chair.

"Reason she can't keep fighting is because she's pregnant right now, not like it's any of your business." He simply answered.

He looked at the metal case and he started to think it over. The money could help a lot and he was a mercenary, so it was not strange to work for anyone. Part of him wanted to tell him to go to hell for being who he was, other part wanted to give her a good life which money would help.

"Do we have a deal?" He asked him while every single member of Avenger team stared at him shocked at the news.

Tony was even more shocked because in front of him was someone that was only eighteen years old, at least looked to age. Naruto looked younger than he really was, his eyes looked at the team once more.

"Yea we do. I will work with this team starting tomorrow. That's because I got a very needy woman in bed still waiting for me." He picked up the metal case and headed for the door leaving everyone watching him.

"Naruto you don't always have to live the life as some mercenary. I know your foster father is a known mercenary and I know your life as a member of weapon x. You no longer need live your life as a weapon." Naruto stopped and glared back at Fury.

Everyone was even more shocked that he was mercenary also was part of weapon x, they did know that group very well. From their dealings with the X-men and they all could not figure out this man in front of them.

"What should I do? US government was the one that created weapon x program. They stole sixteen years of my life with their tests and making me into living weapon. There is far too much innocent blood on my hands because of them, I never wanted to kill anyone, I just never had free will." His anger was showing in his voice.

He disliked anyone speaking of his past beside a few he trusted, the past haunted him every day of his life. It was something that he could never move on from, there was always something there to bring the past back in front of him.

Fury had no idea what it was like to be a weapon to be used and to be forced to kill innocent people. He did not know what it was like to live inside that lab and be treated like you were nothing, just a tool to be used then thrown away. His nightmares still haunt him only he wanted to know the names of the ones running it.

"We are trying our best to find out who in the government is running it so we can stop the program. Tell me do you want your son or daughter to know you are someone we could easily work for the villain just if they pay you?" He stopped speaking to let it sink in before speaking once more.

"I think you would want them to be proud of who their father is. I know you want see them happy with Tigra and you." He just stared at Naruto once he was finished.

"So, your idea of my new start is joining this team?" He earned a nod from the older man before he walked out of the room.

He did not believe that someone like him could ever have a new start and if he could it would not be that simply.

"Fury what are you up to because even I know you aren't person with a golden heart, what's your end game with him?" Tony stated to him only Fury turned his chair around. His back was against them because he didn't feel like telling them the reasons, wasn't their place to know.

He just owned Naruto's birth mother a favor, one that he could never truly repay due to how much it costed her. He just wanted to try to make her son have semi better life than the one he was living, somewhere he could know true freedom one day.

When Naruto got back to his place which was a small one-bedroom house that he owned only he wished he could give her more. He did know he had to get a bigger place soon and with money he just got from Fury he could do it.

He entered the house before closing the door quickly not to work her up. He placed the case on the ground inside living room. He looked around the walls to see many photos of them, one photo was of his adopted family. He would always be thankful to both Deadpool and Copycat, even if she were taken from him few years ago.

That was when his second family was destroyed and Deadpool went even more crazy, to the point he could not keep his father together. The death of Copycat in his arms was something that caused the already crazy man to become truly more broken at his core.

He started to head for the bedroom where he noticed her barely awake staring up at him while he entered the room. He just looked at his beautiful lover, sometimes he never could understand why she wanted to be with him.

He moved to sit on the bed and slowly he kissed his lover's lips, his hands moved to her bare arms. 'Did I ever tell you that I love seeing you naked in my bed?" He asked while smirking at her.

"No, you never did, and I also enjoyed you seeing me naked." She purred while she gave him another kiss on the lips.

She moved him fully on the bed with herself being on top of his body with a feral smile, she loved being on top. She did not know if it was part of the cat in her, she just simply enjoyed seeing his face while being on top of him.

Their lips moved to claim each other while his hands moved to her large breasts rubbing them slowly. He truly loved being with this woman, he did know that she did love being on top more than anything else. Not that he minded at all, he just wished he could spend forever with her.

Naruto soon found himself in a place he had known all too well, weapon x lab which he looked to see his old team with him. Only thing was, they were young, he looked down over at himself to see he was also young again. He looked to see him grab the other boy by the neck.

"I don't care who you think you are Sasuke, if you ever put your hands on x-23 I'll kill them off. Do you hear me? I will not warn you again." Naruto stated to him.

"I'll touch her don't worry and she may enjoy it as well if not I'll still will." With that last mistake, Sasuke felt his right hand being cut off by Naruto's bone claws. "You son of a bitch!" He howled in pain.

"So, you're back and do I want to know what that was about?" A woman asked him, he just nodded his head no.

"She wants you to read her a bedtime story again." She added.

"I'll do that once I wash up, don't want her to see me like this."

Naruto just watched his younger self go wash up, staring at himself in the mirror. He did know that this past was something he wanted to lock up, he did not understand why it always came back to him every time he finds peace.

"I just want to save your soul, one day I'll save you X-23, till then I'll be their bloody weapon." He spoke to himself.

He kept watching till he moved to a room where he was sitting down beside the bed, little girl younger than him was looking up at him. He told her a bedtime story which helped her sleep at night.

When the older Naruto walked out of the room, he found himself in his home, first home he shared with him mother. He looked at the five-year-old Naruto walking to his mother outside in the garden.

He noticed all the statues of birds that she called phoenix or fire birds, he watched his mother hug him. Tear slowly came down his face because he could not save her, he couldn't save anyone that he cared about.

"I am sorry Naruto, the burden I placed on you. You will never know what it means to go to the other side, you will never truly know what death is." She spoke yet little boy did not know what she meant by that. "Ashes to Ashes, flames to flames, always rebirth comes for you."

"What does that mean mommy?" He asked so confused.

When he finally woke up, he found himself sweating up a storm due to the nightmares, these dreams that he could never block away. Losing his mother when he was five, when they killed her in front of his own eyes. He never could understand to this day what she meant by the ashes to ashes or rebirth.

he noticed she was not in bed anymore. He also noticed that his claws were out, he was worried that she may have seen them. He never told him that his birth father was Logan, which was part of him that he left behind just like the nightmares he had. Past was also tied to his other powers he had, ones he refused to use no matter what.

He got to his feet and put clothes on before going into the living room. He took a long breath to try to calm his head, he didn't want to lose her. He noticed her there cleaning up only he stopped her and moved on the couch.

"Don't tell me I should be resting, and you took Fury's deal, didn't you?" He nodded his head while sitting beside her.

He looked at her and she was wearing her blue silk laced baby doll that only barely ends right after her rear. Her chest was very showing only part of her breasts were covered her nipples.

"I know you will get along with everyone because they are good people Naruto."

Even if she told him that he still did not believe so. He was not someone that could work well with anyone beside a few people like Tigra, he just worked alone. It fit him better than collaborating with people that would slow him down.

"You aren't alone anymore so stop trying to carry everything on your own." She told him only she moved her hand on top of his.

She hated when he acted or felt like he was alone, and she can still see it in his eyes. She also was scared to ask him something, there was just something that worried her yet it showed in her eyes.

"We also need go out tonight for dinner with few of my friends." She grinned before she just gave him a kiss.

She did know he was going say that was dumb idea only she wanted to shut him up, she wanted to go out with him tonight. It had been a while since the two of them could do something together.

"I know you going say it bad idea but please for me do this. Tonight, I do that one thing you like in return." She purred only he nodded his head.

He thought if she was going to do that later tonight with him. That does make putting up with dealing with her friends easier, also he always did give into her. She was one person that could get him to listen no matter what.

"When do we have to leave?" He asked with a kiss.

"We need leave in three hours so make sure you wear something nice please." She kept purring while giving in to his next kiss.

Her arms just moved around him and the two of them spend the next two hours on the couch together. She did love him, even with his dark past she never once left his side no matter what.

The two of them got changed into new set of clothes. Naruto was wearing black pants with a black shirt only he smirked at Tigra. She was wearing a black dress that fit her body so perfectly only he just walked up to her and gave her a long kiss.

"I take it you like it don't you?" She asked only earned a nod of his head.

He moved his hands on her arms feeling her fur against his skin. She truly was the one good thing in his life and soon he would have another good thing in his life that was his son or daughter.

He looked at her legs which he was glad this dress had come with slits on each side to let her legs move freely. He just slowly took her orange tail into his hands and smirked because she had the dress made with a hole for her tail to go through.

"I told them we couldn't go out tonight with them, I reset it for next Friday, there something we need to talk about." Her voice showed she was worried.

"What's wrong?" He asked, fearing he had already known the answer.

"You never showed me these claws, just what else are you hiding? Who is this X? you kept hearing her name out in your sleep." She asked, she moved to sit down on the bed.

"I never showed anyone beside few that know, it is not something that I wanted to even have. That man left his family to die, he said he would come back but he never did. My mother was killed in front of my, age of five I watched it all before being dragged away." Naruto just took a breath of air.

"I have done many things that I hated, and the nightmares never go away, the ones I killed. The ones that begged not to be killed, I can't change my past, but I can change my future, that why I don't want to keep doing these things."

"You don't have to keep killing, use your time with the avengers to save lives, save as many as you can. It may not rewrite the past, but you can make things better for ones that are still alive. Be the hero that I know you can be, be the person that I know you truly want to be. Someone that does what's right, you are free from them forever." She told him.

"Who is this X?" She asked him.

"X-23 was someone that was also in the lab with me, she was born with DNA of my father and female doctor. The doctor put my father's DNA inside of her and it got her pregnant, she gave birth to X-23. She was few years younger than me, yet I always did my best to try to save her soul." He stopped to look down at his hands.

"I did not want her to become, a monster like I was. At the time I was already admitted I was someone with blood on my hands, so when I looked at her? I just wanted her to get free from the lab and find a family she can love and care about. So, I helped her, and doctor get free, at cost of me being trapped in that lab forever." He moved his hand to the golden colored locket around his neck.

"I think she found that happiness after being free, you did something brave to give up everything for her." She kissed him.

She did think she had felt that X-23 was same girl from the x men she met few times, she also started to think of plan for them to meet again. She just had to make sure that was same woman that Naruto was talking about.

"Let's get some sleep, you have big day tomorrow meeting your new team." She smiled to him, even if she felt sadness for him.

The two of them went to bed, Naruto on the other hand just looked at her. Everything he wanted in life he had, yet he still felt mostly empty inside. He moved his hand down her arm to her stomach, she was one gave him hope back in this life. The one that gave him much hope for the future, but he had to keep her and his unborn baby safe.

The next time he was outside the house, he had to meet his so-called new team. He moved a handout before flames form an orb like shape, flames he still did not understand how he had. Since he was born, he had flames that he could call on, almost remind him of the birds his birth mother loved so much.

When he got inside the Avenger's base, he looked around to see the red headed Natasha walking over to him. He looked at her black skintight outfit with smirk, he always did enjoy seeing her body. His blue eyes stared into her blue eyes before he waved her over to him, he did want to speak with him again.

"It's been a while, but do tell me how you have been doing?" She asked him.

"I was doing good till she tricked me into joining this team, I swear the things she can do behind the scenes." He joked which caused her to laugh.

"Yes, she had been thinking of you joining the till even before the baby news happened, I'm glad you're with us."

They noticed Ironman walking over to them next; her eyes just gave him a look that told him do not try anything. She wasn't going let anyone mess with him, she was kind of overprotect of Naruto.

"I know that we didn't give you warm welcome when you first joined, but welcome to the Avengers. I hope we can work well together." He said over to him.

"Trust me, we get along good enough. I just don't really work well with others but very few people, trust issues I guess." Naruto admitted back.

"You have been through hell and back Naruto, just try to work with us. At least you know I have your back no matter what, I think I have proved that much already."

'Seems Fury already asking you to do a mission for him, your teammates will be coming along in few. She also is sending Natasha with you, do not know the details yet." Captain stated over to them.

He noticed one female walking over to them, she had full yellow mixed with black looking cat suit. He did know this woman was called Hellcat and he had worked with her few times over the few years of him being a merc for hire.

"It's been a while Patricia, or should I call you Hellcat? Yellow kitty or kitty works better for you." He smirked which caused a growl to leave her mouth.

"Be nice Naruto, I could think of nicknames for you as well." She joked.

"I would love to hear these red." He fired back which she just smirked.

All the laughing stopped when the next person he seen was someone wearing one white jumpsuit with black tiger marks on it. The suit also looked like a white tiger, with an amulet around her neck, Naruto nose could tell this wasn't the real one.

"It's been a while, hasn't it?" Naruto asked, playing along.

She just got into a fighting pose for Naruto just to rush at her, the two of them started to dance around each other. Naruto watching out for her claws, he did know these weren't something to play with.

He kept dodging while the rest of them try to figure out how to manage this problem, he did know that he would handle it. He wanted to know who really was under that tiger's mask, it wasn't his old friend.

Once he had an opening he grabbed her legs to cause her to fall to the ground with him on top, before she could claw him. That was when he had his claws to her neck, he looked down at her while being on top of her.

"Don't try it, may claws are stronger and just who the hell are you? You aren't Angela, your beasts are smaller, and your smell isn't hers." He took her mask off, she looked younger than Angela as well.

"Really had bring up her breast size?" Black widow just shook her head.

"I'm her aunt Ava Ayala and younger sister to Hector, wait what you mean my are smaller!" She howled at him.

He just got off her before walking away, he did not understand how she was her aunt due to age but he would drop it. He didn't want deal with more drama today, yet Fury was about to add more to it by walking over to them.

"Good, you met your three teammates and it's time for your first mission as an Avenger." Fury joked.
