Naruto wished he was already there, because he did not want to deal with these people any longer. He did not know why he agreed with Tigra. He looked around to see this so-called X-Men, he looked at Psylocke for moment. He did know she could manage herself simply fine, he also did know that he had history with her.

He did have short history with Emma Frost as well, during her days of working in the Hellfire club. He was sent there to kill someone hiding there, one of his first missions he went on without Deadpool's help.

"How close are you with Tigra, she has a good hold on you. I never thought anyone could have such hold over you." Psylocke joked.

"Given fact she is having my child, we are close. She tries her best to heal me yet someone like me cannot be healed. When has someone killed as many people as me? There is no saving nor healing from the past." Naruto's eyes slowly closed.

"If you have a girl, why are you trying this hard for Laura?" Hellion had to open his mouth.

"Please ignore him." Kitty butted in.

"That is because Laura was the one that I took care of in the past, the one that was my first love in a place that was hell. This lab was just pure hell, the missions they sent me on. The innocents I have killed, and some had it coming. Some were evil and twisted men in power, others were innocents that still haunt me to this day." Naruto stopped.

Before he could talk more, his phone started to ring. He put it on speaker and could see that it was the red head.

"Natasha here, did you forget someone? She told me where you are heading to, and you never thought of asking for my help? Naruto, you keep acting like a lone wolf, but you are not alone and never will be." She said, yet Naruto just took it off speaker.

"I know, but I am going here to end this which means I will be killing them. There will not be any mercy for them, my team as you call it are not killers. They are good people, they are not murders like me, which is why I did not ask for help." He told her.

"They may not be, but I am, you forget why I am called Black Widow. Tell me where it is and we will there, so please just let us help you. Let me help you, is everything we been through nothing to you?" She asked, her voice he could tell she was hurting.

"I will tell you, just do not do anything foolish because this is a trap. One that I am walking right into. I refuse to let you or the newest white Tiger die. Bad enough I lost two of them so far, I refuse to let this young idiot of a tiger die next." He told her.

"Angela's death was not your fault." With that Naruto hanged up and texted her the location.

"She is right kid because Angela's death was not your fault. You cannot keep blaming yourself for things that were out of your hands. If anyone is to blame for her death, that would be Lady Bullseye but not you." Logan butted in.

Angela's face flashed in his mind, the last day he spent with her and the last time he kissed her soft lips. The last time he held her, the last time he truly talked to her. That last day played inside his head, that day he wished he had known what was going to happen when it ended. The next day Lady Bullseyes had taken her from the world, from his world.

"I still failed to keep her safe, all these powers of mine and yet the only thing I have ever been good at is taking life not saving it." Naruto admitted.

"There were so many times I wish I could have saved live not take them, then these screams and voices at night were not bother me. These voices begging not to be killed, these screams of pain that will never stop haunting me."

"My whole life I wondered who my father was, was he someone that was better than a killer like me? When I learned of your files and life, I realized I got this path of a killer from you, never understood why my mother dated you. Then again, my mother was also crazy, her along with her friends used to worship a gem statue." Naruto explained.

"What kind of statue was of?" Jean asked.

"Of the fire bird known as a phoenix and always thought they were odd group. To worship a bird of all things yet." Naruto stopped to put his hand open and flame orb formed in his hands.

"She always did say she cursed me, giving me a burden I would never understand till I was older. Ashes to Ashes, you will never know what touch of death is, my son. Endless cycle of rebirth is that awaits you, forgive me please for what have placed on you. This burden of endless, this burden of hardship." He finished her chant, yet it was the one she told him about many times over the short time he had with her.

"What did your mother look like?" Jean asked, shocked at what she was hearing.

"My mother Kurama Uzumaki, her hair was long red and two red slit eyes almost looked like a fox. I do know her sister Kushina is alive, but I never visited that side of family due not wanting anything to do with my past." He explained.

"I think I seen her in the memories of the phoenix force, but I never was told who she was or if she was even a host for it. Just that she played big role at one point in time, you are not a host, yet you have flame like powers." Jean stopped for a moment. "You may want to ask your aunt if she had known anything about these powers."

"Right now, I just want focus on saving her, stuff like that can wait. Now I have kept my team alive when they get there, hopefully by then everything will be over with." Naruto closed his eyes.

"You seem close with black widow." Psylocke took jab.

"Are you one to talk?" He did not bother opening his eyes.

"No but remember a woman's heart is something that can easily be scarred if you don't treat it right." She gave him a small smile.

"Nothing to worry about, it was Tigra's doing that caused the three of us to be this close." Naruto finished without noticing the shock look on Psylocke's face.

"There one thing I want to ask you, I wonlt let you you ignore me either." Jubilee started to speak from behind him. "Do you still love Laura, even if you do save her that is going be a question you have to face sooner or later." When she finished, she waited for him to speak.

"When I save her, then you will find out. There is no point in talking of stuff like this while we do not know what will happen during that lab. I do know my old team is there, so I will go over their powers with you." Naruto finally started to speak.

"Sasuke, the one I really plan to kill in the worse way. His powers are electric, and his eyes can do tricks. Cannot speak of what kind due never having it used on me, the other one is pink hair idiot. This idiot was always drooling over him like a sad lost puppy, she has insane strength and can heal most injuries with some kind of healing touch. Last one was shy but creepy girl that claimed she loved me, her name is Hinata and never seen her fight much so do not know her powers. If Sabretooth is still there, we all know what he can do to someone in a fight which is why it best for me or Logan to face him." Naruto finished his explain before taking a nap.

Everyone else just looked at him then over to Logan which he just shrugged it all off. He did know that he was right about only two that could manage Sabretooth was himself and his son, even if he had wished that bastard was not there at the lab.

Naruto for his best try to push that question out of his mind, did he still love her? Did he miss her touch against his skin, did he miss the smile she would give him. He did miss reading her stories and being there for her? Did he miss the life he had with her even in the hell of a place? He would say no, but that would be lying to himself. He had missed it all, he truly missed her with all his heart. That was why it haunted him every night, her face and her smile.

The rest of the ride was in silence with everyone focused on their own through to, mostly all about the Naruto. When the jet landed Naruto got out and was looking at the front entrance of the lab while Logan moved to his right side.

"Remember, you are not allowed to die got it? We will as a team right now and everyone comes home together even you brat." Logan told him, he just looked over at his so-called father like whatever.

When they got to the front entrance it had opened for them, which caused the group to be on guard for anything. He looked over what looked to be a small screen by the entrance which showed the face of the Director.

"Welcome home, we have been waiting for you project firebird. Let us see if you will survive trying to save the little young woman here." The man smirked before scene turned off.

"Firebird, so it may be your fire powers they were really after." Jean pointed out.

"They may think I was the host of the force, but I can tell you. May powers no way where godlike like the phoenix force's powers. Even people I have met over the years fear that things power, some of them explained to be what it is true reason to be here." Naruto finished before walking in.

After they got inside the lab Naruto took out his two guns, he could see guards rushing over to them which he started to shoot at them. He was not going let anyone in this place live, he would end this, finally. No more will weapon x be allowed to live on, he would destroy this whole damn place.

When they got inside first main room, he could see line of men with machine guns ready to fire, he waved the others to stay put. He put his guns away fast and drawn his katanas. He moved forward as they started to fire at hm, he moved his blades together before moving them like a fan, to block and cut the bullets just like how Deadpool showed him how.

"He really is good with a blade." Psylocke pointed out while watching.

"You know don't you?" Gambit joked back.

"Shut up, no one asked you." She countered back with a blush on her face.

Not even one of them hit him, yet when made it over to them. That was when he killed every single one of these guards with his blades before blocking incoming attack.

Much to his dislike the attack was from Sakura breaking his blades, shattering them while knocking him backwards into a wall. He looked over at her before standing back up, he could see her smirking.

"Look what the cat dragged back; you thought you were a big shot back when you were with us. Even cutting Sasuke's hand off because he threatened to touch that girl. Who knows what he will do now that she is back, what he would do to her just to make you suffer." Sakura's voice caused him to get angry.

Everyone could see Naruto making a fist before letting his claws show, his whisker marks getting darker and thicker. He was not going let that bastard touch Laura no matter what, he would rip every single one of them apart.

"Not if I kill you, him, and everything one of you bastards in here. You keep forgetting that I was the strongest not because of my powers, because I was simply better killer than everyone here. You cannot break me because my bones cannot break but yours can." Naruto rushed right at her only for her to run out of room and shut the metal door.

Did not take long for Naruto cut right through the door only for him to stop and look behind to see the group rushing over to him. He was no fool to go in alone, he was not going let them get inside his head even if he was showing his rage already.

"She is trying to taunt you, so do not let it get to your head. If this Sasuke does anything to her, trust me he will be getting killed by me or you." Logan told his son.

They headed out the room to see it leads down a long hallway with many doors in it. He did know this was where they kept most of the mutants locked up. In room rooms like cages only few of the mutants had real rooms. When they walked by, they looked to see them all empty with some blood on the walls.

"This place really is like some kind of horror movie, because did they really keep people in these small rooms like that?" Jubilee asked.

"Yes, it was more like jail cells than rooms. They kept the ones they felt were not as good as their main group. Nothing more than lab rats at that point, these bastards are the one vile ones you will ever meet in your life." Naruto explained while looking at one of the empty rooms.

Memories flowed his mind of seeing mutants tossed into these cells, their hope was already gone. Most wanted to just be killed, failures in the director Adam Harkin's eyes. He did know he would kill that bastard.

"That person looked familiar on the video back there." Emma spoke up.

"That is the director of this lab, one running it. His name is Adam Harkin and if he is here, so is Kimura." Naruto answered.

"He was same one that kidnap one of my students, we did save her but damn that bastard." Emma showed her angry at that same.

He had kidnapped Mercury to design a weapon with her metal like powers, they did not know what it was. They just know they were to save the girl and get out there alive, that day left scar on Emma for feeling like she failed her student. She felt that way due to her being kidnap and unable to stop it from even happening.

"Do not worry he will not be leaving here alive, that is one thing I know. I will be the one to kill him and make him pay for everything he has done to X-23." Naruto pushed on, letting the past go.

He would let it all go when he destroyed this place, he would finally let it all go. All the pain and the suffering he had to be forced to bear. They would make them pay for all the innocent lives that this group had taken away, that he had taken away.

When they got into the next room, Naruto took right of the room to a door before putting his hand on the writing. It had said Sarah Kenny, the woman that was a mother to Laura. The past just started to hit him hard.

"I still remember last words I said to you Sarah, get her out of this hell. To finally give her name because she could never always be called X-23, to give her true family but we both failed to do what we planned? We both failed, didn't we?" Naruto did his best to keep the tears from falling down his face.

He moved his hand to the doorknob to open it slowly, he wanted to see what they had done with her lab area. When he opened it, he was shocked, no he was beyond shocked. He could see someone in what looked to be a tank filled with water. It was the person in the tank that shocked him to his core, it was Sarah Kinney.

Naruto walked over to the glass of the tank, putting his hand on it. He did not know If she was even alive in there. Her mouth was covered by air breathing tube, he looked over at the computer next to the tank.

He looked back over at her, she was naked with her long black hair coming down to the middle of her back. Her black eyes were closed, her body was well kept even after few years that passed, he wondered how they kept her alive so well. He would find out how in these files which caused him to move over to the computer.

He started to look at the scene while everyone walked in, he did his best to try to understand what was going on. He looked at each file and timestamp, he noticed there was a saved audio file which he clicked to play it.

"This fool Sarah went against us, but the killing scent caused our weapon to stab her in the stomach, would have killed her. I had Sakura heal her so we could try to clone this woman to get our weapon back. So far, all cloning has failed causing them to die right away. Till we can get a working clone we will let her live, once we do have one then we will kill her for her betrayal." Naruto looked over at the woman.

He started to use the computer to get her free from the tank, if she was healed, he did not have worry about her dying. He did know that being trapped in a tank for years, it would take time for her to realize what was going on. When the tank empty and tank opened, he took the air breathing out of her mouth and kept her from falling out of the tank. He picked her up in bridal and headed to the group.

She slowly started to open her eyes up, it was painful due to the light of the room. When she could semi see she noticed who was holding her. "N... Nar...uto....is that.... you?" Naruto just nodded his head to her with few tears showing down his face.

He noticed white tiger and hellcat along with Natasha, he just walked over to white tiger which gave him a look.

"Take her, you and Hellcat need to get Sarah out of here, ok? Make sure you keep her safe and thank you." He told them which shocked them due to the thank you part.

"Wait, how am I still alive and where is Laura?" She asked while she was passed to tiger white.

"She will be home soon, but you just need to rest and recover, ok? You will see her soon, just rest for her." Naruto lowly said before heading out of the room.
