Weeks went by and Naruto was coming back from another mission, he slowly started to work better with his new team. He did know that this team was something that was different to him, he just couldn't really tell them everything.

It was not like he wanted to keep things from his team it was just that it never is easy for him to open up to anyone. He did know that his life was never one to truly be allowed to take place, that the things he had done and places he had gone to should have never had been allowed to happen.

Only two members of the Avengers that still kept giving him issues were the captain and Ironman, mainly the later. The tin can seem to really dislike Naruto, mainly he figured it was due to him being with Tigre.

Tigra was waiting for him at home like normal, he did know learn about the few of her friends over the last few weeks. He met about five or six of them during his times with her friends even if he did already know one of them very well.

He did not know why she wanted him to meet them, he did know they were from the X-Men group. He also did know his real father was part of that group, he just told her there was nowhere he would speak with Logan.

He had too much hate for that man, the man that let his mother die in front of him. The man that was nowhere to be found during all of the hell he lived through, yet he wanted nothing to do with that man. The blame and hate for him was something he told himself that would never go away, as long as he lived, it would stay.

Laura was waking up, she looked over to her friend Jubilee not sure why she was outside her room like this. She moved to sit down on her bed, her eyes still looking over at her. "Why are you here, did something happen?" she simply asked.

"Who is Naruto, you were yelling so loud I went to check up on you, just what is going on Laura?" she asked, showing that she cared.

"He is someone that I once known when I was inside the lab, the one that gave me freedom. The one that gave up everything for my so-called freedom, the one that lost everything because of me yet never regrated it." Tears started to come down her face.

"You need to talk about it, maybe with me or Logan?" She watched Laura turn large, like she was shocked.

"No, never Logan! If I told him he would hate me." She looked away.

"He would never hate you, why would you even think that?" She was shocked to hear these words leave her lips.

"Because, Naruto is his son, he stayed behind to kill the guards chasing after me and the person that was like a mother to me." She could barely get any of her words out, it was like she was running out of breath after each single word.

Jubilee was shocked yet she did her best to try to calm down the other woman, soon they noticed Logan and Gambit walking in, along with Psylocke. The three of them had worried looks on their faces, yet they were trying to figure out what all the crying was about.

'What is wrong?" Psylocke asked her.

"I can't say." She looked away when she noticed Logan.

"It is ok, we are here to help you so just let us." Logan told her.

"Then I would finally need to talk about my past, past in that lab before killing the woman that was like an mother to me." She looked back over at him, she watched him nod his head.

"She gave birth to me using your DNA and her own body, at first she only seen me as an project then later as her own daughter. What I never told you was, there was someone else there that was taking care of me. He was around my age, yet bit older. He would read my bedtime stories and did his best to try to keep me innocent." Few tears coming down her face.

"He was the closest person I really had to family, he was always there to try to cheer me up even if he sucked at it. He was bad at telling jokes, half the time not knowing what he should or shouldn't say to me while talking." She gave small sad smile.

"He was their main killer, their main one to sent on missions. I was his backup in case he got free or was somehow killed which was highly unlikely. He thought I did not know that, he thought he kept it close to the chest but I did know. I did know that he did mission after mission and listened to these damn bastards so they weren't sent me." She put her hands to her chest.

"He must of wanted to keep you safe petite, so he did all the missions so you weren't need to go on any." Gambit pointed out.

"He told me that I was his saving grace, that I was his light in the hell that he was locked away in. That he wanted to save my soul and keep me from becoming an monster like he had become due to these people." She stopped to look over at Jubilee.

"He was not born like me, he was born of normal way but they kidnapped him at the age of five years old. They killed his very own mother in front of his eyes, something they used against him every time he would disobey them. They would use a mutant to go in his mind and have him relive it again and again." Laura paused for an moment.

"These bastards, he did care about you." Gambit spoke.

"I know, I know he did but...the night before I got my freedom. Was the last time I touched him, last time...I felt his warmth. I made him promise me that tomorrow we would both gain our freedom along with my mother, that he was coming with me. He promised me, I made him a golden locket with photo of all three of us. Sarah was talking to him, I was fake sleeping beside him." More tears were coming down her face.

"I loved him, he was my first in every way and yet I always wanted him to be my last. I never wanted to lose him, that why I kept faking to be asleep. I did not want to believe that it would all end soon." She wiped her tears away.

"I heard, that he would have to stay behind to keep the guards and other mutants from getting to us, like his teammates. I could feel him staring at me, like he was trying to memorize me due to never seeing me again." She looked away.

"So, he stayed behind in order for him to save you? I can tell you that is because he loved you and wanted to save you, which he did do." Logan spoke, much unlike his character he was being extra soft with Laura.

"As we running outside, I looked back screaming for him to follow us, he just used his claws to cut the door controls to close it. To lock it, so no one could find us even himself." The word claws made Logan look at her.

"He did not know about the killing scent, nor that it would cause me to kill Sarah. He never had known about it, because no one did. So, did he really save me in the end? Did I really not become a killer like he wanted me to avoid being?" She looked right at Logan's eyes while speaking last time.

"You aren't monster Petite, he did save you. He may never known about that damn scent but he did everything to give you and your mother an better life." Gambit pointed out.

"The reason I didn't tell you any of this, is because you would hate me." She had hard time getting out these words.

"Why would you think I would hate you?" Logan was slowly putting pieces together yet he would never hate her for something like that.

"Because his name was Naruto, he was your son." She spoke as if she believed he was died.

"Wait that name Naruto, does he have blonde hair and whisker marks on his cheeks?" Psylocke asked, shocked Logan had another kid also for few other reasons.

"Yes, how do you know that!" Laura's voice jumped.

"Because I met him few times over the last two years, he was being raised by Deadpool. Never thought he was an mutant let alone Logan's son. He never showed me his claws that's for sure and never heard he had them." She explained.

"Deadpool was taking care of my son? So, that why he kept trying to call me so many times yet never left an voicemail telling me that."

"Could have just picked up you know? The man isn't that bad, he just has weird way of doing things at times." Gambit countered.

Laura was too shocked to talk, that he was alive and out there. She could find him yet what would she say or do if she did? She looked over at Psylocke like she was doing her best to ask of help.

Psylocke noticed her look, she looked over at Logan before looking back at the younger woman because she hated seeing her like that. She hated seeing this little girl sad even if she did not know her for long time yet.

"If you want I can try to get a hold of him, it may take time due to the fact that I don't know where he currently is." Psylocke stated, half lying due to knowing he was with Tigra.

'Thank you, I need to rest now." She moved to lay back down on the bed while everyone left the room.

Psylocke pulled everyone away from the room before speaking, due to Laura great hearing and did not want her to hear this part. She did not want to hurt the girl yet she did know Naruto had moved on from his past or so she thought.

"What the big issue?" Logan was the first to ask.

"I half lied, I know where his is and who he is with. Naruto is currently dating Tigra for awhile now, they share place together. She even forced him to give up being a mercenary and join the Avengers." She stopped to let it sink in.

"I did not want to tell her due to the fact I do not know how Naruto will react to her showing up or you showing up." She added.

"Then lead on, so I can break the ice? Even if he hates me, at least he should know that she alive and well." He counted.

"Sure, just one thing I do need to say sorry to you." Psylocke looked away with bit of guilty showing.

"Don't tell me...."Logan just stared at her surprised.

"Yea, we shared a bed together few times but nothing out of love just fun." Psylocke walked pass them to get ready to leave.

"You son has better luck with the ladies than you." Gambit joked before going to get ready and make sure Naruto doesn't kill his father.

When the group made it to Tigra's home they could see Naruto already dressed up in his combat outfit, with all his weapons on him. Psylocke wondered if he was going on mission with his team, it was still early in the day.

"Naruto, where are you heading?" She asked while still walking to him.

Naruto did not need to even turn around know who's voice that was, he could smell two other people with her. None of these were ones he had met before, he looked over which his eyes turned from normal to down right pissed off.

He did not want this man here, he did know that if Psylocke was the one to bring him here, then she most of realized who he was. His eyes look at Psylocke which caused her to look away, his angry was showing for first time to her.

"So, take it you are mad I'm here? Too bad kid, I'm not here to talk about you nor about me. We have bigger issues than the two of us." Logan spoke.

"What is this bigger issue, last thing I want to see if a man that left my mother to die in front of my very eyes. Naruto fired back.

"I'm here to tell you Laura is alive and with the x-men, she has a family and you don't need to worry about her." Naruto looked at him confused like who? "Sorry, I forget you only know her as X-23."

"Good, she has a home and you can go away now." Naruto did his best to hide his shock of hearing the name. Even so, Logan's eyes weren't fooled that easily.

"I got to finish someone that you could not do, so again go away because I won't be here. I need go kill the bastard that killed my second mother Copycat, her killer was Sabretooth. I was told he is in this area, once again working for weapon x." Naruto had told him before slowly thinking on why Sabretooth showed up.

"Wait one moment, if he isn't here hunting you or me... Naruto stopped when he realized his own mistake.

"If she is living with you, call her right now! I thought he was here hunting you down, so I never cared but if hasn't attacked you yet."

"Then he could be after the girl." Logan finished before Gambit started to call her.

"Hello, you ok petite?"

"It's me jubilee, Sabretooth and person with electric powers just grabbed Laura! I did my best but...I wasn't able to stop them." Gambit almost drop the phone.

"it is ok, we will get her back and tell someone to get the jet ready to go." Gambit told her before hanging up.

"You were right, that bastard and some kind of electric power mutant grabbed her," Naruto made a fist.

"That bastard would be my ex teammate Sasuke, one of my three ex members during my time in the lab. These three were ok with being used as long as they would grow stronger." He took his phone out and started to call someone.

"Wade I need you to tell me the location of lab where you saved me from, they took X-23 and don't have time to fight over this." He put the phone on speaker.

"I guess can't stop you if it her you trying help again, just make sure you don't die. We already lost Vanessa, so you better make it back home." Deadpool told him before giving him the location.

"Can't promise someone I may not be able to keep, just know I will do everything I can to make sure I get back here alive. After all I can't leave Tigre a single parent, or she would find way bring me back just to kill me again." Naruto joked at end before hanging up.

"We coming with you, I highly doubt the Avenger or Fury will give you ride there, knowing you won't be leaving any of these bastard alive." Logan pointed out.

"Why would I want your help, I have many ways to get around without my new team's help nor without Fury's help. I am not some helpless person you are talking to, I'm a trained assassin. It is true that the both of us have killed, I was trained to fight smarter, faster and using everything I can to win the fight." Naruto counted him.

"Sweetie maybe you should let them help you, if you go in alone you risking not only your live but also her chances of survival. Sometimes pride isn't the best thing to hold on to when you are trying to save someone you love." Tigra spoke behind him, causing him to turn around.

He did not even notice her come out, she was simply wearing a long bathrobe that covered everything, also her fur helped with that as well. He just shook his head because he did not know if he could call it love, just that he wanted to keep her safe. There was just something in him that wanted to always keep her safe, he thought he lost that part when she disappeared from his life.

"Fine, lead on but don't think I'm going show any mercy on these bastards. I will kill every single one of them." Naruto stated before kissing Tigra then heading off.

Logan just shook his head before looking at Tigra. "I will make sure he come home alive, even if I swear he got a death wish. I just met him and already can see that he is cracking yet not fully shattered yet."

"Thank you Logan, I am doing my best to heal him yet there just so much I don't know about him nor about his past."Tigre sadly admitted.

The group followed Naruto before leading them to their home, he did know he just wanted find her and get away from this group. He did know Tigra was right about meeting help and that his pride could have cost her life.

On the jet he noticed few people he never met before, these were Kitty, Jubilee and Hellion which he wondered why teenagers were here.

'You are bring kids to a mission like this?" He asked before he looked at Jean which he had already met due to Tigra.

"I'm here to save her, so just shut up." Hellion pointed out.

"Yea, sure you are kid." He looked over at another familiar face. "Emma Frost, with X-Men now? Small world, or just weird change of lifestyle?" Naruto asked.

"Yes, it has been awhile Naruto, you still looking good." Emma spoke while Naruto rolled his eyes.

"How much history you have with the women of the X-Men?" Psylocke took a jab at him.

"Is there whiskey on this jet, this going be long ride." Naruto just sat down shaking his head.

"I still mad at you Hellion so keep away from her when we find her." Jubilee told him.

"Why are you mad at me? Not my fault she likes me." He fired back.

"You may kissed her, but she wasn't the one that started it or asked for it, so keep hands to yourself." She countered back.

"If you don't keep them to yourself, you may lose them if I see it." Naruto right claw came out to show he meant his threat.

All members of the group beside ones that did know were shocked, they all looked over at Logan which he just shrugged it off.
