Kakashi POV

After jumping from one branch to another, I haven't spot any other swordsmen. I just got word that so far we've manage to seal 3 swordsmen of the mist thanks to Sai and YN. Yet the casualties will still increase more if we don't stop the remaining of the swordsmen.

    Fortunately YN and I are using one of their swords against them. Just then I see YN back in the fight as he landed near. Surprisingly he seems to be in a good condition to fight.

Kakashi: You seem to be in good condition to fight again. How are you feeling?

YN: A little shook after the last fight, but I'll endure it.

I land next to him and place my hand on his shoulder.

Kakashi: I know it wasn't easy, but you did what you had to do, and it was the right thing.

YN: (Regrettably.) I know...the Akastuki did a lot of unforgivable things, this is one of them. All we can do now is to stop them and protect naruto. Besides, what are friends for?

Before I was about to speak, we hear an explosion nearby as the birds fly away from it.

YN: What was that!?

Kakashi: Nothing good, let's move!

YN: Yes, sir!

YN and I ran to where the explosion was but soon we hear a voice as we get close.

???: Help! Help me!

Once we land and kept running, we see a leaf shinobi who isn't walking normal.

Kakashi: What's wrong?

Leaf shinobi: Its these strings! They're controlling my body!

Kakashi: Strings?

3rd POV

Just then he was being pulled until YN wasted no time and save him by cutting the strings with great speed. Once he free him, YN caught him before he fell.

YN: I got you!

Leaf shinobi: I-I thought I was gonna end up like the rest of my comrades.

Kakashi: Where are they?

He then points at the trees and to both our shock, we see a lot of our comrades were attached by the trees with the strings. Some of them may still be alive. Suddenly something was thrown at them.

Kakashi: Look out!

A large needle appear from mid air and was aim at both of them until YN dodged it while holding the wounded. Soon the needle was pulled back, revealing one of the swordsmen name Kushimaru.

YN: That must be one them!

Kakashi: Protect the wounded!-

Suddenly another explosion appear nearby as many shinobis were killed by it. Revealing another one name Jinpachi.

He continues to kill allied forces with the explosion over and over again. YN runs into to stop him while kakashi holds off the other.

YN: Stop!

YN swing his sword only to be block by the enemy.

YN: Is this some kind of game for you!?

He was about to use his explosion on YN but suddenly Kushimaru was thrown to Jinpachi by Kakashi who is now next to YN. Just then Kakashi notice someone unconscious behind him.

Kakashi: Ran! (To the swordsmen.) You are unforgivable! I feel sorry for the legends of past generations who are being forced to fight against their will. But you, you reveling killing, I hate to think we're both called shinobi.

Jinpachi: (Smirk.) Stop being so full of yourself. Who gave you two the permission to wield those blades!

Jinpachi charges at them with his sword but Kakashi manage to block it and begins to clash while Kushimaru prepares to throw his needle.

Kushimaru: Those swords belongs to the Seven Ninja Swordsmen of the Mist!

He throws it directly to Kakashi but it was then deflected by YN with his sword. Kushimaru then pull his needle back.

Kushimaru: An outsiders wielding those blades? I don't like it one bit!

He charges towards YN and both of their swords clash.

Until YN block his swing.

YN: Yeah well guess what, they're better off with the likes of you fishes. Especially that we earned it.

Kushimaru: Tell me, how many did you killed to earn that kind of sword?

YN: What the hell are you talking about?

Kushimaru chuckles, leaving YN confused until he spoke up.

YN: Answer me!

He then push YN away before keeping his distance while Kakashi is dealing with Jinpashi.

Kushimaru: (Grin.) To gain those swords, you'll have to kill everyone, including the ones you loved.

YN: (Froze.) Killing everyone?

Kushimaru: That way no one will stand in our way, the rest is just for pleasure.

He then laughs while YN grip his sword with anger.

YN: So all those bloodshed was just to get a sword without remorse? Including to those that want nothing to do with it? People like you don't deserve to be called shinobis, more like a coward who can't have dignity.

Suddenly Kushimaru then got a flash back where he sees a mist shinobi with the same sword. Revealing to be Tulip mentor aka, Tenshiro, who was once the swordsmen of the mist.

Tenshiro: People like you don't deserve to be called shinobi, more like cowards who can't have dignity....

Kushimaru: 'What the hell? Why am I listening to that again?'

YN: Reanimation or not, we're gonna end this.

Kushimaru: Don't get cocky you brat!

Kushimaru then charge at him and throws the needle at him. YN easily dodged it but then notice that his arms are waving. Out of instinct, YN jumps high before the stings could trap and slice him in half.

YN throws a kunais at him but he easily dodge some of them. He was surprise that YN escaped from his string but soon he smirk under his mask.

YN: Water style: Waterfall-

YN then notice Kushimaru was about to throw some throwing needles at him, but YN thought for another plan. He sheath his sword and let's it go.

YN: (Hand sign.) Earth style: Stone Fist!

YN prepared to punch with stone fist while Kushimaru just chuckles.

Kushimaru: (Chuckles.) 'A stone fist? That won't save you from my needles-

Suddenly YN appear in front of him thanks to Flying Raijin as Kushimaru eyes were widen to see YN in front of him.

YN: Aaaaargh!

With brute force, YN punches right to his stomach. Causing him to crash directly to the tree. After that, without looking, YN catches his sword that was falling.

Kushimaru: T-that kid, he wasn't just fast, but strong!?

YN: (Hand signs.) Wood style: Silent Strangle Jutsu!

YN manage to pin him from moving before he approaches him.

Kushimaru: Y-you little brat!

YN: If there's one thing I learn about the mist village, I'd rather be a free brat than living in a village once filled with cowards like you. (Hand signs.) In other words, the mist village is better off without you. Wood style: Seal-

Just then Jinpashi attack from above and swing his sword to the ground, causing another explosion for Kushimaru to break free. Kushimaru did got injured but was quickly recovered thanks to his reanimated body.

Jinpashi: I'm going to kill you and take those swords back.

Kushimaru: No, I will.

Jinpashi: (To Kushimaru.) I'll kill you if you get in my way!

Kushimaru: (Laughs.) I'm already dead.

The enemies approach toward them as Kakashi ready his sword.

Kakashi: YN, take the survivors and get out of here!

YN: I'm not leaving you against those two alone!

Kakashi: There's no time.-

???: It looks like you're back against the wall, huh?

The four of them see someone from the sky, revealing Might Guy who's about to attack.

Guy: Severe...Leaf Hurricane!

Guy knocks both of the enemies back as Guy grin.

Guy: I'm Might Guy, the Hidden Leaf's Noble Blue Beast! Sorry I'm late you guys.

Kakashi: Thanks, Guy.

Guy: Huh, you're the one who wanted us to regroup because it was dangerous to work in platoons. So why are you two doing this all by yourselves? Furthermore, you're fighting two of the Seven Ninja Swordsmen of the Mist.

YN: Short version, we try to save many people as we can.

Kakashi: Yet we weren't quick and I got in over my head.

Guy: I figured that was the case. Anyway, we should get those two away from here while we can.

Kakashi: Yeah, thanks.

Guy: It's kind of creepy to see you being so grateful, Kakashi. But I guess your opponents were just strong enough to make you feel that way.

Kakashi Look at YN who nods, knowing what to do by waking up Ran while Kakashi defend him.

Ran: (Wakes up.) W-where am I?

YN: Are you okay?

Ran nods before she looks behind YN and sees Jinpashi which made her gasp.

Ran: He...he killed my comrades!

YN: We know, we tried to reach to you guys but we were too late.

Kakashi: We're going to defeat the enemy, so you two take the wounded and regroup with the main regiment.

Ran: B-but...

Guy: When we fight them, you'll get in our way.

Ran looks down depressed but YN tries to comfort her.

YN: They can handle those two, we just need to get our wounded comrade out of here and we'll get help.

Ran nods agreement before she gets up and looks at Kakashi.

Ran: Be careful.

Ran leaves while YN hands Kakashi a kunai.

YN: If things go wrong, you know what to do.

Kakashi nods before YN joins Ran and they grab the wounded leaf shinobi. They place his arms over their shoulder and get out of the fighting zone.

Time skip, YN POV

Ran and I got far away from the fight as possible while Guy and Kakashi sensei are dealing with those two.

YN: Okay, I think we're far enough from them-

Explosion from distance.

Ran: Maybe a little bit more.

YN: Understandable.

Short time skip

YN: Okay, now we're far enough. Let's rest here so I can treat his wounds.

Ran nods as we landed by a tree branch and let our comrade rest by the tree before I get started to heal his wounds.

Leaf shinobi: Thank you.

Ran: What happened to him?

YN: He was wounded by one of those swordsmen that uses the giant needle. He'd be dead if I didn't step in.

Ran: Those guys are unforgivable.

YN: There's only three left to seal, captain Kakashi and Guy is dealing with 2. Not sure about the last one.

Ran: You think they'd stand a chance?

YN: (Chuckles.) Trust me, when a Copy Ninja and the Blue Beast work together, they become a formidable duos. But in case if things go wrong, we'll have to be ready.

She nods as I continue to heal him.

YN: Your wounds are bad, I'll need more time. (To Ran.) You go get reinforcement, we'll catch up as soon as we can.

She nods before she left. Our only hope to seal those two are up to Kakashi and Guy. Let's just hope they'll manage until there's back up.

3rd POV

Meanwhile with Guy and Kakashi.

(Start from 2:08 to the end.)

Few hours later during the fight, Kakashi and Guy went to help and seal the final swordmen of the mist, but turns out that Omoi manage to trap her to a quick mud that is bottomless pit thanks to his comrades. Ameyuri Ringo, one of the 7 swordsmen of the mist, accepted her fate as well as Omoi. Fortunately for Omoi, he was saved by Sai riding on his ink bird and pull him up with a rope.

    Ameyuri gave respect to Omoi, enough to hand him her swords called Lightning Blade aka Fang before her reanimation body sunk deep to the bottomless pit. They were then riding on Sai's bird inks and were flown away from the battle field. Soon Kakashi and Guy received message from Inoichi Yamanaka that Naruto and Bee are heading to the battlefront.

    Using the opportunity to turn the war around to their favors. This made them relief to know that the tides may turn.

Kakashi: We should get some rest while we still can, but be on your guard. There may be a white zetsu disguising as a comrade.

Everyone: Yes, sir.

Short time skip.

Everyone were scattered by the forest while being on a look out. YN tends the wounded in the area along with the other medical ninjas. Soon a leaf shinobi arrive and approach Kakashi with a message.

Leaf shinobi: The sealing corp just reported in. They weren't able to seal Pakura and Gari.

Kakashi: I see...Two of the seven ninja swordsmen remains. Fuguki Suikazan and Mangetsu Huzoki.

Leaf shinobi: There's more, 2nd company request for reinforcement due to white zetsu situation.

Kakashi: Understood. YN, can you gather a group?

YN: Uh, yeah. But you want me to go and aid 2nd company.

Kakashi: At least until their situation is settled. Besides, you're the only one who can easily find white zetsu that are hidden among us.

YN: Fair enough. But just to be sure. (Hand signs.) Wood style: wooden clone!

YN creates a wooden clone.

YN: I'm leaving this clone with you guys in case there's one hidden with you guys.

Kakashi nods before YN takes a group with him. Before they left off.

Time skip, YN POV

It took a while but soon we arrive to where 2nd company is. Soon I meet up Neji, Kiba, and Akamaru but we all stop. I use my seismic sense jutsu to confirm that they're real before signaling my group that they're clean.

YN: Man, its good to see you guys in the flesh.

Kiba: What kept you guys?

YN: Well....

Flash back.

We continue to run through the forest and soon a coffin appear in front of us.

YN: Everybody back up! Ready the sealing jutsu!

We draw our weapons and soon we see a kid step out of the coffin. It looks like he has three swords, kinda like that grass head. But only his time he was wearing something weird and he reveal his eyes to be a dragon-like eyes.

???: Huh, where am I?

YN: Everyone get ready!

???: Whoa hold up, is this where I can find a demon?

Rock shinobi: A demon? This is war!

???: Oh, damit! I knew entering that box in that demon house was a worst idea! Tell you guys what, I'll just leave you guys be.

    Because I got something important to do. I got a drum demon to find. (Smiles and waves.) Later!

He then step back to his coffin and it closed before the coffin sinks back to the ground.

3rd POV

Meanwhile with Kabuto, he just witness that someone whos will was strong enough to break from Kabuto jutsu before sealing himself back in the coffin.

Kabuto: .....What the fu-

Flash back ends, YN POV

Kiba: Wait, so he just sealed himself back and then vanished?

YN: Weird right, sounds like he lost his senses of direction or something.

Neji: Either way, thanks for coming. We've been having some trouble to tell which is which.

YN: I sent a wooden clone to help you guys, what happened?

Kiba: Turns out he was ambush by a white zetsu. We couldn't take the risk and try to kill each other.

YN: And its only gonna get worst if we don't find them soon.

They both nod in a agreement before I get started to find the white zetsus that are hiding. It only took half hour and so far we manage to clear them out. Suddenly Akamaru then spot something familiar and the 3 of us follow him.

    Neji then found our comrade is stuck in a giant net made of web which made our eyes widen. Fortunately Neji freed him with his gentle fist.

Kiba: Neji, YN, this is...

Neji: I know, you're right.

YN: There's only one shinobi that I know who can do that.

Neji: Yes, there's no doubt about it. Kodomaru, one of the sound ninja four.

YN: Fuck....
