Team 7 was traveling through the trees to head to the sand village. After while Burto began moving really fast.

"Just hang in the Gaara,"Burto said quietly.

"Burto I know your in a hurry but stop breaking formation," Sakura said.

"I know but."

" Don't lose your cool Master Jiraiya taught you better than that didn't he?"

Sakura sighed. "Oh boy."

Sakura then looked down to see Temari walking.

"Temari!"

Kakashi,Burto, Sakura, and Suigetsu went down to talk to Temari.

" What are you all doing here?"

"It Garra was taken pirson by the akatsuki,"Sakura explained to Temari.

"Gaara you mean he been." Temari began saying before cutting herself off.

" We are two and half days away from the sand. We should hurry. "

"Right. "

The five of then went back to making there way to the sand village. They been traveling for awhile now that it was now dark. Burto then started to speed up.

"Hey slow down please."

Sakura looked at Suigetsu and saw he was having a hard time keeping up.

"Burto will you cut it out all ready. Stop getting ahead of us!" Sakura shouted.

" I can't take this anymore!"

"Huh?" Suigetsu looked at Burto confused.

" I know why there after Gaara and me. It not like it a mystery are anything. You know to don't you Sakura?"

" There no point hiding it the spirit of the nine tailed fox is sealed away inside of me."

Suigetsu and Temari were both shocked.

" Of course Orochimaru doesn't mention this to me," Suigetsu was thinking very annoyed.

" Gaara and I are the same we both have monster locked up inside of us. That what these jerks are after and that the worst part about it. To them were just monster all those jerks see is a means to a end. Ever thing about us was exactly the same. And he had to fend for himself a lot longer than I ever did."

"He sure can talk," Suigetsu was thinking.

"And now he a target of the akatsuki. One more thing we have in common.
Why should his life be so full of misery all the time? Why is it always him? That why I got a hurry I don't have a second to waste. This time it different I'm going to be there to save him!"

They been traveling for awhile now that the sun was back up. Sakura then grabbed a food pill and sped up to talk to Burto. Suigetsu was drinking so of his water to get his strength back from all the traveling.

" Burto."

"Yeah?"

"You met him before haven't you?"

Burto looked at Sakura confused.

"Itchai Uchiha and he after you now isn't he?"

"Ugh," Kakashi said.

" You know it not just been training these past two years. I snuck peeks at all of the files Orochimaru had Tsunade look at. Now tbe one thing that always bothered me the most fine made sense. The person that wanted to kill it was his older brother Itachi wasn't it? A member of the akatsuki."

Burto then remember the day Sauske fought Itachi when Itchai came to capture him.

"That the whole reason he be training with Obito and Sato mom and never hangs out with us unless it a mission. He believes revenge is the only thing that can make him happy. "

" All I'm saying is the closer we get to the akatsuki. The closer we get to find out information about Itachi that we can use to possible help Sauske realize revenge is not the answer. "

They decided to stop and rest for a little bit. Suigetsu spent most of his time resting to rehydrate himself. Kakashi then suddenly got up and said that break time was over.

"All ready can't we rest a little bit longer?"

"We really should continue heading to the sand village."

"I understand. "

"Hey Kakashi sensei were Burto?"

"Right up there,"Kakashi said pointing up at one of the trees.

"Ok let's get moving come on Suigetsu."

"Coming!"

" Oh man, Suigetsu thought, this is so much running and my water bottle halfway empty now."

"Oh right were finally reached the desert."

"The village hidden in the sand is just up ahead. It best if I take the lead from here on out. "

Kakashi turned around to make sure Suigetsu was still with them. He saw Suigetsu stop for a minute to drink some more water.

"Lead on as so as Suigetsu gets up here."

"Hey Suigetsu you ok? Why do you keep stopping?"

"Sorry I can't move as fast as you are I get extremely dehydrated."

"Why is that is that Suigetsu?"

"Because I was just can't Sakura. Let's just continue heading to the sand. I don't feel like sharing my reason why with people I don't know. "

Kakashi just shook his head. "This kid has serious trust issues. I will have to work with him on that along with improving his control of liquid body modification kekkei genkai so he won't get dehydrated all the time."

They were continueing there way threw the desert when suddenly a sand storm happened. So they went into a cave to wait out the sand storm.

"We got close to are target and we just sitting here I can't stand this waiting!"

"Burto for the last time relax there nothing we can do."

" I know but."

"Just be patient. Would you look at Temari she the one who worried the most. "

" the cardinal rule of traveling in the desert if you hit a sandstorm you stay put. You lose all your sense of direction in a storm like that. I heard of you got lost in the desert and died of thirst. Don't worry the sandstorms we get don't usually last that long."

" Well I just hope you right."

"Are you always this loud?"

"Yeah he is but you get use to it eventually. "

" I doubt I ever be us to his loud mouth Sakura. "

"Geez do always have to be so cranky Suigetsu."

"Burto just leave Suigetsu alone he has his reasons for not being happy about being on the team," Kakashi explained.

Once the sandstorm stopped they continue making there way to the hidden sand village. Once they arrived they were greeted by two sand shinobi standing at the gate.

"You mean that got Kankuro too?"

" When Lord Kazekage was kidnapped Kankuro chased after them alone. He was poisoned and we haven't be able to find anything to couter act it. He won't last much longer."

" Dang it!"

" Don't give up yet Temari let me take a look at him."

"Kankuro!"

"Kankuro."

Temari and Sakura both ran over to Kankuro. Then suddenly a old lady came running at Kakashi. She began trying to attract him but Burto blocked all of her attacks. Everyone was just staring at them like what going on. Then a old man came up and told the old lady to take a closer look and after she did she stop trying to attack Kakashi.

Burto, Kakashi, and Suigetsu all went to sit down. While Sakura was working on healing Kankuro poison.

Why she call, Suigetsu thought, him the white fang is that guy dead. That what the history books said. "

" Hey Kakashi sensei who is this white fang if the leaf guy?That made the old lady so angry. Got any idea?"

"Well that a tricky one how do I put it well he was. Well in a word he was my father."

" Huh?"

"You there your the son of the white fang?"

"So that it that explains why you look like him."

After Sakura was done removing the poison from Kankuro. Kakashi asked Pakkun to track the sent from Sasori cloth. While they were waiting for Pakkun to come back tbey went ahead and called it a night.
