It been a few days since Pain attacked the village. Naruto and Yamato have been using there wood style to help rebuild the village.

Orochimaru was in the temporary Hokage tent until a new Hokage building was built. He was working on paperwork. Kiko was standing next to him to give him any assistance that he might need.

While Orochimaru was looking over the paperwork. He received an unexpected letter. He tore it open before reading it. He facial expression turned into a slight frown as he was reading through it. It was written by the Raikage, informing him that Sauske had kidnapped his brother and that he was now apart of the Akatsuki as well. And so he demanded him to let him have free rein so that Kumogakure could deal with him on their own.

But didn't want to.

Sauske was a shinobi from the Hidden leaf village.  He was also his old student. So he should be the one to deal with Sauske actions.

So without wasting more time, he took a sheet of paper to write back a negative answer.

Kiko  could read the letter as well as she was standing close to him, but she didn't say anything about Orochimaru decision; because she too felt the same way with Sauske being from the Uchiha clan just like herself.

Once he was done writing the letter he folded it neatly before putting it in an envelope and giving it to the same Jouinn that had come to deliver the letter to him.

He didn't expect Sauske to join the Akatsuki like his brother. But he had a feeling that Sauske wouldn't come back so easily even after killing his brother.

He felt like he should of fought harder.  The night Sauske left the village and did a better job of getting him to forget about revenge. And now Sauske had joined the Akatsuki, he couldn't just sit here and do nothing.

That's why soon enough it was decided that a Kage summit would be held in the Land of Iron in the next few days.

And Orochimaru needed two shinobi to escort him there.

He first asked her daughter-in-law  if she wanted to come, but she told him that she should stay here and make sure Obito doesn't do anything to cause his injuries to get worse.

He was going to check on Tsunade first before finding two shinobi to escort him to the Land of Iron as he was on his way , he bumped into Sai.

"Oh, Godaime-Sama, you're here... I've been looking for you."

He seemed to have been quite in a hurry to go see he.

"What's up Sai?"

"It's Burto... He's being beaten up pretty badly by shinobi from Kumogakure," Sai explained briefly.

"What?! Leave me to him!" he said before grabbing Sai shirt and hurrying away to go find the blond boy.

"But... Godaime-Sama can't lead if your pulling my shirt," he try telling him, but in vain.

Sai just sighed and let himself get pull along.

After a while they finally found Burto and these Shinobi from Kumo. There were three of them. One male and two females.

Orochimaru was so angry when he saw the two girls beating up Burto. that he had to try and control his killing intent.

How dare they beat him up.

She appeared in a flash next to Burto wrapped a snake around the girl's throat forcefully, making her stop what she had been doing for a little while now.

The other woman and man immediately noticed her as they seemed to be surprised by her sudden presence.

The dark skin girl eyes widen afraid of the snake around her throat would kill her.

Orochimaru took a deep breath and released the girl from the snake hold.

"Who are you? And what are you doing here?" he asked them sternly.

The guy flinched at the tone of her voice while the blond girl frowned slightly.

"My name is Samui," she said, "and this is Karui and Omoi," she added, gesturing at them respectively. "And we've been sent here by the Raikage-Sama himself."

"Right, but that doesn't give you a right to lash out at one of Konoha's shinobi."

"He agreed with that in the first place, and didn't mind at all."

"I care if he agreed you had no right to hit him. Now get out of my sight," Orochimaru ordered.

"I'm afraid it will be impossible. We've come to see the Hokage."

"I am the Hokage," Orochimaru retorted. "And you could have come to see me directly instead of beating him up."

"I am the Hokage," Mai retorted. "And you could have come to see me directly instead of beating him up."

"Sorry about that. But as he seems to know this Sasuke quite well, we thought he would give us all the information we need to find him."

"but I wrote back to the Raikage that I would deal with Sauske personally."

"I know that. But it only made the Raikage-Sama even more furious. To be honest with you, he just tore your letter to shreds before sending us here."

Orochimaru rubbed his temples annoyed that his letter was tore up.

"Sorry, but I won't let you do anything to him. Sasuke is from Konoha, and so I'll be the one to deal with him. And as the information you want to know, there is nothing I can tell you about him that could help you find him anyway. So you should just go back home now."

Samui remained silent for a few moments as if thinking about what to do.

"You will have to deal with the Raikage-Sama's fury yourself then. Karui, Omoi, come on, let's go. It's pointless to stay here any longer."

"Sai please clean up Burto injuries," Orochimaru said once they where gone.

"I understand you didn't want them to hurt Sauske but you shouldn't have let them beat you up,"

"I know but Sauske my friend so I couldn't let them hurt him."

Orochimaru sighed.

"Fine  I don't see that will listen to me anyway so do whatever you think you need yo do."

Burto gave him a smiled.

"Thanks Snake-eyes for giving me a chance."

"Well if you plan on talking to the Raikage, which I feel like you going to do then have Kakashi and Yamato go with you. I'm going to check on my wife then I come join you."

"Ok then something I want to ask you, but I wait until you finish visiting granny Tsunade." 

When he arrived to where Tsunade was located. When he did Shizune, Namai, and Sakura were already by her side, kneeling beside her. The black-haired girl shook her head sadly as son as her eyes met Orochimaru's. Orochimaru went to kneel in front of them, before his wife.

He was getting more and more worried for his wife with each day that passed. He  had no idea how long it would take for her to wake up, and this was almost driving him crazy. He was feeling so much regret not being there to protect her.

"I'm so sorry, Tsuna-Hime, I should have been there to protect you..."

"Snake- eyes!" Naruto said as he came into Sakura, Namai and Shizune's sight after a while, Yamato and Kakashi standing next to him.

Orochimaru took a last look at her mother before standing up to go with them outside the small building he was in.

"Yamato, Kakashi, I want you both to escort Burto to go see the Raikage before the Summit begins."

"But, what about you?" Kakashi asked him.

"Well, I'm going to go ask someone else to escort me there."

"And why don't we just go with you?" Burto suggested.

"Because simply you cannot attend the meeting. I can only bring two people with me. So I'd rather let you go on your own try to convince the Raikage before he gets to the meeting place, and you will be in good hands with Kakashi and Yamato."

Burto just stared at him before nodding.

"Alright," he simply said.

He seemed now to be pondering over something rather important.

"You know, when I was fighting against Pain with Obito, I finally met my father and he told me something interesting," he ended up telling him with a soft smile.

Orochimaru gave him a questioning look before understanding what he could of told him was very interesting. Then gave him a soft smile back.

"Really  he told you something interesting."

"Yeah that you where his sensei, and that your son and his wife our my god- parents."

"Well I'm glad you got to learn that. "

The two of staring and smiling at each other a little bit longer.

Well I need to go ask someone to escort me there."

"Who?" Kakashi asked him.

"Don't worry your not the ones I trust that is extremely skilled to protect me if I got into any trouble."

He already knew who he was going to ask.
