Chapter 3- Continued

I stared back at Kai and rose an eyebrow, "What?" I questioned.

"Shouldn't you be going to see Naruto now?" She asked. I froze and walked out the room only to be tackled in a hug.

"Oh, my daughter is all right!" I heard the annoying voice of my teammate say.

I got an anger vein, "Now hold up! Who said I was your daughter to begin with Takeshi?!" I yelled. He got depressed and went to the other side of the hall way in the corner to grow his mushrooms.

I sweat dropped, "What did you say to this idiot now Minako?" I heard Minoru ask me.

"He called me his daughter so of course, like always, I questioned it." I said. Takeshi suddenly got up and walked over. He was going to put his arm around me when the pup started to growl at him.

"Nice doggy?" Takeshi said.

"You idiot, it is clearly a wolf." Minoru stated.

"Who are you calling an idiot?!" Takeshi yelled.

"You dobe." Minoru said.

"Shut up teme!" Takeshi yelled.

"Ladies, your make up is on point and you're both very beautiful. There are many fish in the sea, now let the queen through." I stated walking away.

"Why, you little-" Takeshi started.

"Takeshi truce? Let's go show Minako why she shouldn't call us ladies." Minoru said.

"Agreed." Both the Haruno and Hyuga looked at me with fire in their eyes. I gulped and started to run. If I can make it to the exit I will be safe, at least for right now as they know where I live.

"Get back here Namikaze!" They yelled.

"No thank you! I would like to live until Naruto makes me an aunt." I yelled back. The pup seemed to growl in annoyance but I ignored him for now.

"We know where you live!" They yelled at me. I pulled a stop and turned to them.

"Does it seem like I care?" I asked as they stopped in front of me. They smirked at each other and looked at me.

"No, but you owe us dango!" They yelled.

I looked at Minoru, "You know for a Hyuga, you sure don't act like it." I turned to Takeshi, "For a Haruno, you sure are childish." I said.

"You know for a Namikaze, you sure are blunt." Takeshi said.

"Let's not forget a know it all." Minor stated.

"Pu-lease, I am just me." I stated and continued walking towards the exit.

"Naruto and Iruka are waiting for you outside." Minoru said.

"Thank you. See you guys whenever the Hokage gives me an ANBU mission." I said.

"It's only for a year right?" I heard Takeshi ask.

"Of course, plus you can't really tear the Kage no Akumas apart, now can you?" I stated. We all pulled our charms out I had a Purple Crescent moon, Takeshi had a Blue Crescent moon, and Minoru had a Red Crescent moon. We were dubbed the Kage no Akumas when we defeated a group of twelve A and S rank missing ninja's that targeted the Dimayo's son while using the shadows as our cover and no back up what-so-ever. Needless to say Shikaku-sensei was proud of the only team he ever trained. We were less of a "drag," down side to being his students was we adopted his laziness. Our crescent moons gleamed black before they went back to their own colors. I walked outside and saw Naruto with Iruka waiting under some trees.

Naruto saw me first and ran over, "Onee-chan! Are you okay? What hurts? Do you need help with the pup? Do you want me to carry you home? Do you w-" Naruto was cut off.

"Naruto! One question at a time!" Iruka yelled at him.

Naruto rubbed his neck, "Sorry." He said giving us one of his goofy smiles.

"It's alright, now let's all head back and considering it's still too early for Ichiraku's to be open, I'll cook us all something to eat." I said with a closed eye smile. Iruka and Naruto nodded and we continued back towards the village. Even though my back was fully healed it hurt to move.

Three Hours Later

I was with the third Hokage even though it had been my day off, I had been called in when his grandson tried his fifteenth sneak attack. I'll give the kid points, Konohamaru is very determined and he doesn't give up easily. I wonder if Naruto already took his picture, better not be something ridiculous! If it is Iruka and I have a backup prepared so no big deal.

While I was thinking someone came into the room and took a seat after handing the Hokage their picture. I looked up and saw Sasuke, I smiled through my mask at him and he nodded in return. I was told that I did not need my ANBU mask so I left it at home. The Hokage handed me the file which in turn I disappeared to put away. I reappeared and Sasuke was gone, probably went to train, kid needs to learn to take a break.

Naruto walked in after an hour and Konohamaru was at nineteen tries so far. Konohamaru tried to get the Hokage while we were having lunch. I had to stop eating and escort him back to Ebisu whom I scolded for not keeping an eye on Konohamaru. Back to Naruto we were looking at his registration form and I started laughing. Naruto decided to get into my face paint, which I use to freak people out every now and then with my teammates.

"At first, you know. I couldn't figure out exactly how to do it. It took me like three hours to work it out and stuff, but finally I got it. Like an art project on my face, only cooler." Naruto said while he sat on the chair.

"Take it again." Sarutobi-sensei said.

"No way!" Naruto yelled.

"We can't accept this photo." Sarutobi-sensei told him.

"Yeah, well I'm not doing it again." Naruto yelled back at Sarutobi-sensei. They were glaring at each other until Naruto used his Sexy Jutsu, "Pretty please Lord Hokage." Naruto said.

Sarutobi-sensei fell back with a nosebleed and I shook my head at him. I always knew the old man was a pervert. I helped Sarutobi-sensei back up and gave him a handkerchief. I felt a presence at the door, "That's the Sexy Justu, you say? Very tricky. Too tricky don't do it again." He said. Naruto laughed rubbing his head and I noticed something.

"Naruto, where is your headband?" I asked.

"You're supposed to be wearing it." Sarutobi-sensei finished my thought.

"Oh I'm not putting it on until the orientation. I don't want to mess it up." Naruto told us.

"So you want your headband nice, but your photo, which is supposed to identify you, makes you look like a clown. It's for ninja training and missions which is the key to your future. Look at this picture, you can't even tell who it is." Sarutobi-sensei said.

"Well fine. How am I supposed to know all this complicated stuff anyway?" Naruto asked.

My attention switched to the door instantly. It was thrown open, "Old man I challenge you." Konohamaru yelled and started running towards the table, "I'm going to defeat you and become the fifth Hokage!" Konohamaru yelled and then he tripped on air. Konohamaru another headache to Sarutobi-sensei. I thought to myself. Sensei pulled his hat down a bit looking at Konohamaru, "Something tripped me!" Konohamaru exclaimed.

"Are you okay Honorable Grandson? And by the way, there's nothing here for you to trip on, it's pretty flat." Ebisu said. Did I just really noticed Ebisu was there, geez I'm lacking right now.

I saw Ebisu look at my brother and I sent some kill intent towards him. Konohamaru walked towards Naruto, "Alright you're the one who tripped me. Aren't you?!" Konohamaru accused him.

Naruto grabbed Konohamaru by his scarf, "You tripped over your own feet, dork!" Naruto yelled back at Konohamaru.

"Hey you, take your hands right off of him right now. He's the Honorable Grandson of the Honorable Third Hokage." Ebisu said. Yeah, well we're the kids of the Fourth Hokage. I thought to myself.

Konohamaru looked smug about his position, this is too troublesome, plus Naruto could not give a flying turd if the third was Konohamaru's grandmother. I thought to myself yet again, "What's the matter? I thought you were going to hit me tough guy. Afraid that the Third Hokage is my grandfather?" Konohamaru questioned him.

"I don't care if he's your grandmother! So believe it!" Naruto yelled and he hit Konohamaru on the head.

Ebisu looked like he was about to lose his sanity. I know one thing for sure, this is not going well. When we got Konohamaru back on his feet Ebisu went to talk to him, "Listen carefully, you are the Honorable Grandson of the Honorable Third Hokage..." And I blocked Ebisu out just like everyone seems to do when he lectures people. I zoned back in when Ebisu yelled, "Where'd he go now?!"

"I think he followed Naruto but I have no idea where they're going." Sarutobi-sensei said.

"He's with Naruto? That's a disaster!" Ebisu ran out the room, "Honorable Grandson!" Ebisu yelled.

"*Sigh* Konohamaru is very determined. That was his twentieth sneak attack today sensei." I said.

"And if he starts running around with Naruto, he's sure to get even worse." Sensei told me.

"Naruto wouldn't teach him anything bad sensei." I said then had an afterthought, Would he?

"Minako." I heard sensei call me.

I looked down at him, "Yes sensei?" I asked.

"Is your seal still leaking the nine tails chakra?" He asked concern laced in his voice.

I looked down at the ground, "Yes sensei. The one who knew how to fix it was Itachi, but then that happened." I said referring to the massacre. The third looked down seeing as he regrets letting what Danzo did go unpunished. Homaru Mitokado, Koharu Utatane, and Danzo Shimura were my targets now and I will make them suffer for what they had put Itachi through. A whole clan was wiped out because Homaru and Koharu sided with Danzo on the matter. Had they sided correctly the clan would still be here, but the past is the past nothing can change it now.

"Minako, come let's take a walk. We are done here for the day." Sensei said and he stood from his chair. I followed after him outside to the roof.

"Lord Hokage!" I heard Iruka yell, "I've been looking for you." he said.

"For what purpose?" Sensei questioned.

"It's about Naruto. Did he resubmit his Ninja I.D. photo?" Iruka asked. Sensei only hummed, "You know I gave him a big lecture the other night at the Ramen shop. But he's still beaming because he became a genin a ninja trainee, he thinks that that'll change things. That people will stop looking down at him now." Iruka said.

"I fear his dream may not come true. People don't change that easily. The nine tailed fox is within him, not everyone knows that of course. Only the people who fought the beast know the truth. I decree that no one could speak about this. Even those who whispered it were punished severely. So the children of today know nothing about Naruto's connection to the beast that ravaged our village and nearly destroyed us all. As long as the children are unaware of this, Naruto has some hope of being accepted. That was the wish of the Fourth Hokage, before he sacrificed himself to save us. He asked that when Naruto grew up, he should be regarded as a hero." Sensei said.

"A hero?" Iruka questioned.

"The Fourth Hokage defeated the fox by sealing the spirit in a newborn baby. Whose umbilical cord had just been cut; by containing the fox spirit within his tiny body, the body of my little brother, Naruto saved the village. That's why he's a hero. Unfortunately many of the villagers don't understand this. People are driven by fear, many think the beast could take over Naruto's body. Some think he is the beast now. And their children feel the fear and hatred. And they turn against Naruto as well." I explained looking up at the Hokage monument looking specifically at my father's carved face.

"You know what the ancients said about such things Iruka?" Sensei questioned.

"What's that sir?" Iruka asked.

"When the people reject someone's very existence and then look at that person, their eyes become cold. Cold as an ice storm in the deepest winter." Sensei said. After that sensei and I walked around the village for a while until the sun was about to start setting. We walked back to his office and he used his crystal ball to look at what Naruto was doing. I saw Naruto had combined his Sexy Jutsu with the Shadow Clone. Just by looking at Sensei I knew Naruto could get him with said Jutsu. It's sad to know that the third is such a pervert and better yet a closet pervert. He dismissed me a while later and I walked to the Uchiha training grounds where Sasuke was training.

A shiruken was thrown my way before I could even step foot in the training ground. I caught it and threw it back at duckbutt, "Ne, Sasuke that was not nice. Especially, throwing that at someone who has offered to train you on their days off." I said.

"Well, you're late." He said crossing his arms.

"Don't you tell me what I already know. Anyways, first things first, did you eat?" I asked him. He shook his head and I grabbed his arm, "Then it's time for your break. Let's go make you some food." I said as I flashed us to my home. The pup was on the couch seemingly bored. I started to cut up tomatoes and put rice in the rice maker. I then grabbed some of my homemade pasta and ingredients I would need to make Naruto his homemade ramen. I also started to make dango for me and chicken curry. Once the rice was done I made Sasuke a lot of rice balls. I think I made two dozen, seems like I'm trying to fatten him up. Itachi would murder me if I did though. After that I grabbed some chicken put it in a bowl and put water in a different bowl for the pup. I took the plates out to Sasuke and the pup then went back to turn the broth and ramen noodles off for Naruto. Good thing about my noodles is they don't look gross after an hour of just sitting there. They stay good for five hours after I have cooked them, and I don't remember who I learned the recipe from.

After Sasuke finished eating I washed the plates and packed all the rice balls I made for him. I flashed us to his apartment and let him put the things away. When he came back out I flashed us to the Uchiha training grounds and decided to practice with him on his taijutsu. I finished practicing with him after the sun finally went down and I went home. Naruto was playing with the pup and I stopped for a second, "Is Iruka not joining us today?" I asked Naruto.

"Iruka-sensei said he had some things to finish grading." Naruto told me. I nodded and went to the kitchen to reheat everything. I even put aside portions of food for Iruka.

"Naruto, foods ready." I said.

I served him a plate which had some leafy greens in his bowl. I set it down and Naruto was at the table in an instant. I grabbed the full of food for Iruka and started for the door, "I'll be back in ten minutes. If you want more Naruto serve yourself as much as you want." I said.

"Come back quickly and be safe onee-chan." Naruto said looking up at me.

"You know it, pup." I stated smiling over at him. He gave me a wide smile when he heard me use the nickname my wolves call him by.

I walked into Iruka's apartment, as if I owned the place, which scared him in the process, "Minako, have you ever heard of knocking?" He asked me.

I looked over at him, "It's not like you were busy with a girl, Iruka." I replied wiggling my eyebrows before handing him the bento box. I saw him smile, "Plus I got to also feed the only other person I consider an older brother." I said and turned towards the door. "See you later Iruka. Oh by the way, Naruto's team Sensei will be two hours late." I warned him.

I saw him nod as I walked back out the door. I started jogging back to the apartment when I walked inside I turned and locked the door. I then walked to the kitchen where I saw a sleeping Naruto. I shook my head and went to pick him up. I walked into his room which I saw was surprisingly clean. Usually he makes a small, or huge, mess in the morning. I took his sweater off and laid him back on his bed. I turned the lights off and closed his door after closing the curtains to his window. For an odd reason he insisted that his room should be the biggest one in the house, which I'm not complaining about because I'm okay in a medium sized room.

My room was very plain, probably because of all the ANBU missions I always took on to make sure Naruto had lots of the things he needed growing up. I sat by the window and felt something tugging on my pants. Looking down I saw the pup, "Do you need to go out?" I asked. He nodded and I got up walking to the door. Might as well go to the training grounds now and see if Kakashi is there already. I looked down at the pup, "You need a name pup. Now what to call you?" I asked myself as I walked out the flat. I locked the door and started down the stairs of the complex. I thought about it then I looked back down at the pup, "Raiden." I said. We reached the training grounds and the first thing I noticed was no Kakashi. I sighed and turned towards a boulder in the opposite direction. The only reason I need help in controlling my lightning release, is because I am working on perfecting my new jutsu. It was Lightning Release Midori Mizukuki, what it does is it takes the water around my enemy and it electrifies them along with the wind keeping them in place. Being that the wind is a natural conductor and insulator of lightning just like water it helps a lot in my jutsu. Downside to it, it takes a bit too much chakra but it's very effective.

I made sure the pup was a safe distance away and started to perform my seals; Dog, Dragon, Bird, and Boar, the rock was surrounded with Lightning and a force field of wind. I dropped the genjutsu on myself so that I had more chakra available to control the jutsu, "Finally able to do the jutsu, Minako?" I heard Kakashi ask.

"More or less. I'm only good for three tries before I am left with nothing." I said and turned around.

"Since when are your eyes like that?" Kakashi asked as he looked into my eyes.

"Since I was three. Gained it that same day, dattebane." I responded in the process of rubbing my neck.

"Why is it blue?" he asked.

"It's unknown to me. Haven't found anything in the scrolls the hermit provided me with." I said. I picked Raiden up after he trotted over to me.

"It's weird seeing you with whiskers." Kakashi said as he poked my cheek.

I glared at him, "Don't hate on my whiskers Hatake!" I accused pointing a finger at him. Kakashi sweat dropped at my childish behavior. He ruffled my hair and gave me a smile.

"Meet at the Hokage's tomorrow Minako. Jounin Sensei get their teams assigned." Kakashi told me and he disappeared from my sight. I sighed and flashed back home. I went to my room and changed into shorts and a tank top. Climbing on my bed and once the covers were over me, Raiden jumped up and laid down on my stomach falling asleep. I closed my eyes and welcomed the darkness.
