YN POV

6 month has past as many of us went through many missions. Sometime we're in same team or sometimes we work with different genin but either way, friends look out for each other in any mission. Every mission we took was more difficult after another. Fighting one of the swordsman of the hidden mist, fighting for the people to take back their home, escorting people from dangerous ninjas, and most of all, fighting for what's right in this land of fire. Every mission was to prove ourselves that we're stronger. But yet we still have a long road ahead and there'll be more dangerous ninjas who will try to destroy our village...

But what's life of ninja without going through a little danger huh? 😉

Like our last mission. Most of the genin including me went to help our friends in the Hidden Sand Village that were attack by the ninjas from the village of Artisana. Th ninja known as Seimei was the leader of the group and who wanted to take Gaaras chakra as well as Shukakus chakra. It was difficult but with the strength of hidden leaf and sand together, we took down the group but Gaara was fighting Seimei alone. At first Gaara was struggling to resist shukaku but in the end, he suppress shukaku and finish off Seimei on his own. Right now, gaara and his team were about to leave while Shikamaru and I were by the gate.

Temari: Looks like we owe you guys.

Shikamaru: Nah skip it, we're just returning you guys a favor.

YN: You guys did save our butts, but next time you'll owe us one.

Temari: Smirk. Well at least this time you didn't cry like last time. That's an improvement.

YN: To Shikamaru. Wait you did?

Shikamaru: Scoffs. Sheesh, woman's, you always got the last dig in.

YN: Heheh, no way I'm forgetting this.

Gaara: Curious. So what about him?

YN: Huh?

Shikamaru: Oh you mean Naruto. Heard he's leaving the village today to train with Jiraya.

Kankuro: Jiraya? One of the legendary sannin?

Shikamaru: Yeah, its gonna be such a drag. When he comes back he'll get stronger again.

Gaara: I see, goodbye.

Temari: Cya later.

Shikamaru: Yeah, cya.

YN: Till next time.

Gaaras team now leave and head home while Shikamaru and I head back to report aunt Tsunade. After the reports, she said that though it didn't go as far as 100%, she was still impressed enough.

Shikamaru: Thanks for the feedback but I still need more experience-

Tsunade: And of course, I'll have you assign several more missions to you so you can build up more experience. So make sure you're prepared.

Shikamaru: Huh!? Forgive me lady Tsunade but that sounds like a whole lot of work!

YN: I guess I should head out now-

Tsunade: Not so fast young man!

YN: 'Oh crap...'

Tsunade: You will be going on missions as well but for now you may have to focus on training. So I expect 110% from your training.

YN: Depressed. 'Aw man...'

Shikamaru: Huh, least I won't be the only one. Heheh

Time skip.

I head out at the training ground with Shino, Kiba, and Choji as we saw Tenten is fighting Lee since Tenten was still upset about being left out of the group mission.

Choji: She seems a little upset. Maybe you can reason with her YN.

I see Tenten still upset as she's fighting Lee.

YN: I coouuld but maybe I'll let her steam out for a bit.

Shino: Its hard being the only one left out on missions.

Kiba: Yeah speaking of which, I heard Naruto us to go train.

Choji: Yeah I heard that Jiraya is going to train him.

Kiba: Dam it! That guy is gonna get strong again.

YN: No way I'll be left behind on training.

Shino: Things will be different around here. Quieter for sure.

Choji: Don't ask me why but its a little bit sad.-

Lee: No! There is no time to be sad!

C,Y,K,S: Huh?

Lee: If I'm going to keep up then I must train harder than ever. A hundred times if I must and I'll be ready when he comes back.-

Tenten: Kicks Lee. Gotcha!

Lee gets knocked out.

YN: Wayda go Tenten!

Tenten: Blushes. Oh um its nothing.

Shino: Lees right, we also gotta train harder. So let's use this time wisely and help each other out in order to get strong.

Kiba: Yeah, we're all in this together. Looks like we're gonna train hard too huh Akamaru?

Akamaru: Arf!

YN: Yosh! I'm ready!

Lee: Dizzy. Yeah, I'm ready too!

Choji: Alright then let's eat first and get ready to train!

YN: Why not now?

Shino: Cuz its lunch time.

Kiba: Fair.

Tenten: Alright, I'm in. Also YN.

YN: Y-yeah?

Tenten: There was an hooded anbu told me to give this to you.

Tenten hands me a folded paper before I read what it says as we head out for lunch.

"YN, if you're reading this then keep this between us. Head to the training ground by yourself, your real training will begin after your lunch."

Kiba: Curious. What does it say?

Before I answer him, the piece of paper burned itself as I drop it on the ground.

YN: Great, I didn't even get a chance to read.

Shino: I'm sure its nothing serious.

YN: You guys go on ahead. I'm gonna go see Naruto before he leaves.

Choji: Smiles. Alright then, more for me!

I wave at them before run out and head to the gate, waiting until Naruto and Jiraya sensei arrive by the gate.

YN: I hope you aren't planning on leaving without saying goodbye.

Naruto: Chuckles. Yeah. I guess this is it then.

YN: Chuckles. Yeah, by the time you come back we'll be strong. So you better not get behind while you're gone.

Naruto: Nah uh, I'll get strong enough before I come back and soon I'll become a Hokage.

YN: Smirk. Then until we meet again.

Naruto: Smirk. Yeah.

Jiraya: Alright we've wasted enough time, let's get going Naruto.

YN: To Jiraya. Naruto may be a handful but watch his back for a while.

Jiraya: Chuckles. Don't worry, who do you think I am?

Naruto: Mutters. A pervy sage.

Jiraya: What was that!?

Naruto: Alright! Let's going!

We both say our goodbyes as they both left. After that, I head to the training ground by myself and I saw Lilith out there.

YN: Hey Lilith, what are you doing out here?

Lilith: Nothing. But I think nows the time.

YN: What for?

Lilith: Smiles. For you master your wood release along with other training.

YN: Wait really!?

Lilith: Yup. But don't think your training will be easy.

YN: I'll manage. Also I've been thinking.

Lilith: Curious. About?

YN: Ever since I discover that I'm the last Senju, I also have another goal.

Lilith: And what's that?

YN: Smirk. I'm gonna restore my clan for my family.

Lilith: That burden will be a lot to carry to restore your clan.

YN: I know, but that's the burden I'm willing to carry for my family.

Lilith: Smiles. It's not a bad goal. Let's begin.

YN: 'Dad, I promise I'll restore our clan. Until then, I'll train hard and get strong to protect my friends and my home. That's my will of fire.'

I take a look at the hokages stone faces before beginning my training. And soon, I'll be ready for a journey ahead.
