I'm sorry that it's late well really late but I've been busy and doing my own thing so in sorry but I have made this chapter longer, so I hope you enjoy.

It has been a few days since team 7 got back from the mission in waves, all they have been doing is D rank missions like pulling weeds out of people's lawn, painting fences, helping the elderly, in the river picking out trash and walking dogs (mainly kakashi's dogs). Everyone could tell they were sick and tired doing D rank missions.

So here we are team 7 waiting in there meeting place on the small bridge waiting for their sensei to get here. They have been waiting for 2 hours. They all met there at 7:00 am in the morning and now it is 9:00 am.

Sasuke and Sakura kept staring at Naruto. Sakura was keeping her distance from Naruto, thinking back to when they were talking about his power how Naruto could even kill his friends. Sasuke was still the same as he usually is, he was mainly staring at him cause he was jealous that Naruto had all that power and wasted it. Naruto noticed them staring and was about to say something when there was a 'poof' of white smoke and there was kakashi in front of them.

"Yo" kakashi says, smiling

"YOUR LATE" Naruto and Sakura shout

"Sorry I'm late I got lost on the path of life" kakashi says

"LIAR" Naruto and Sakura shout again

"Well the real reason why I'm late is because I was putting your name down for the chunin exams" kakashi says handing them a piece of paper.

"Well bye" kakashi finished as he 'poofs' away

They all look down at the piece of paper kakashi gave to them

"YES" naruto yells "I'm so going to win this" and with that he starts walking away

"Mn" Sasuke says with a smirk. 'This is a great way to fight different people and get stronger' thinks Sasuke. As he was walking away until Sakura stops him

"Hey Sasuke do you want to go on a date" asks Sakura

"No, why don't you go and do some training instead of bothering me? Seriously, your worse then naruto" Sasuke growled at her.

They both go there separate ways. Sakura walking in the same direction as naruto, looking depressed. 'Im worse then naruto' was all she was thinking when when Sakura court up to Naruto, only to see him talking to konohomaru, something about 'playing ninja'

"A ninja playing ninja" Sakura says rolling her eyes. The small group turns to see Sakura.

"Who's this naruto, is she your girlfriend?" Konohamaru asks, nudging naruto. Before naruto could answer the pink haired girl turned and hit the little boy, sending him flying. Naruto and the other little kids ran to konohamaru's side and helped him up.

Konohamaru moaned in pain before jumping up, almost bumping into naruto and the others and pointing at Sakura, " she's a monster and did you guys see how big her forehead is" he screamed.

Naruto face palmed, of all the things he had to say, he had to go and say that, "you better start running now konohamaru"

"What, why" konohamaru questions, only to be answered when he turned around and saw Sakura turn her head slowly, her face was filled with anger, more like pure anger cause you can feel the heat coming out of her, she gave konohamaru an evil look and then spun around and began chasing after him. The little boy was running as fast as he could to get away from the pink haired girl, naruto and the others started to chase after the two.

Naruto managed to catch up to them only to see a guy dressed in black with some kind of make up on his face holding konohamaru up by the front of his shirt. Sakura was stuttering out apologies to him, trying to get him to let go of the boy.

NARUTO'S POV

The guy wearing black was threatening konohamaru and wouldn't let him go, I was about to intervene when a girl with a big fan on her back, standing next to the guy holding konohamaru started talking, "Come on kankuro, stop it before he comes".

"Aw come on tamari, I'm only having a little fun" the now named kankuro said.

"let him go now" I say getting really pissed off now

"Yeah and why should I?" Kankuro says with a smirk. I was about to say something when I saw a pebble come flying down straight towards the black clothed ninja, hitting his hand making konohamaru fall down on his butt. After I made sure konohamaru was okay, I looked up at the tree and saw sasuke tossing a little rock up and down in his hand, "you don't belong here, get lost" said the uchiha as he jumped down off the tree. He crushed the other rock he was holding as the dust flys away in the wind.

Kankuro growled and turned to sasuke, "great another midget comes around to piss me off"

While those to we're arguing I felt another presence, I turned and looked at the tree again " you can come out now" I say a bit annoyed that someone was watching us. Everyone turned to look at me, then at the tree I was looking at. A kid my age with red hair and a symbol of love written on his forehead came into view, "stop it, kankuro" he said as he disappeared and reappeared next to his team.

"G-Gaara! T-they started it" kankuro accused

The guy named as Gaara was looking at me but was talking to kankuro, "shut up or do you want me to kill you?"
I shivered, the boy had to be around my age and yet he has the same eyes as me, filled with pain and loneliness.

"I-I'm sorry G-Gaara" kankuro stuttered. The Gaara boy had yet to look away, so their staring contest continued.

Konohamaru got off the ground and hid behind me, I could fell his trembling hands clutching the back of my jacket. The guy known as Gaara finally looked away and gave a quick look at the girl named temari, "let's go. We have more important things to do." As they where walking away sasuke yelled out to Gaara " hey you, what's your name."

Gaara turned around and said sabaku no Gaara. You?" The red haired ninja said with a noticeable glare.

"Sasuke uchiha" the ego inflated boy smirked. After that we all turned around to leave, but before we could the red haired named Gaara called out, looking at me, "your name?" He asked.

"My name?" I ask curiously. 'Why would he want to know my name' I thought

"Yes. You have the same eyes as me" he says. I was shocked, so he can also tell.

"That's because you and I have been through the same pain and loneliness" I say truthfully. "and the name is naruto uzumaki, are you here for the chuunin exams?" I asked. He nodded. "Well, we'll see you there then." I finish as I begin to walk away with konohamaru walking besides me. And with that we all start walking away. I could feel sakura's eyes on me, 'god I really hate people staring at me like that' I thought to myself. "Is there something on me or something Sakura?" I turned to look at her, she seemed a bit jumpy.

"What, no, why do you say that?" She asked

"Well you keep looking at me, like there is" I asked a bit annoyed.

"Well it's just, ah ...I'm just thinking about what you said back then, when that creepy guy said you have the same eyes as him" she said

I sigh and look around, I could tell they were all curious, "don't worry about it, it doesn't concern you" I say in an annoyed tone 'why does she always pick up on little things people say' I think to myself, I could tell they weren't satisfied with that answer but that doesn't matter, I've already told them one of my secrets, I don't need them to know about the fox, I continue walking, wanting to get away from them.

"Come on konohamaru let's go play" that put a smile on his and his friends faces, after that we started running and playing around.

NO ONES POV

The next morning, naruto woke up, did what he usually does, wake up, have breakfast, get changed and then get equipment ready like kunai and shuriken, then he leaves the house and then goes meets his team at the training ground but considering today is the first day of the chuunin exams he goes to the academy.

The walk to the academy was like old times. It made him smile a little, remembering all the times he would skip or come in late. This time was different though. This was the chuunin exam, and acting like an idiot wasn't going to happen. He finally made it to the academy and sees sasuke and Sakura are already there, looking a bit mad or annoyed, 'wonder why they look mad, maybe they have been here for awhile and are waiting for me' naruto thinks to himself.

"About time you came" sasuke says annoyed and starts walking inside.

"Yeah, we've been waiting here ages for you" Sakura says before following sasuke inside

"Yeah well you could have waited inside if wanted to and besides you got to spend time with sasuke, so you should be happy anyway" naruto yells and walks inside.

Once they entered the academy they went up the stairs. On the second floor, there was a big group causing a commotion. A boy, wearing a full body green spandex suit was on the ground,and a girl, naruto assumed that she was his teammate, was helping him up. Two boys stood guarding a doorway to a room. The sign above said room 301, but they had only gone up two floors.

'How did they not realise we went up two floors not three?' Naruto thought.

He turned around and began to walk away.

"See he's smart. He knows when to walk away." One of the boys that were at the doorway says.

Naruto turned slightly and frowned at the kid who said that. "You think I would fall for your trick, I'm going to the third floor. Stairs are over there." He said pointing to the end of the hall, where the staircase is.

"So, you saw through our genjutsu huh? Well done" the boy said. Naruto only nodded and continued walking to the stairs, sasuke and Sakura catching up with him.

"Hey, how did you know that? Did you see the genjutsu?" Sakura asked.

Naruto shook his head, "no, but I noticed that we only went up two floors, not three."

Sakura and sasuke paused and looked at each other. what had happened to naruto? Since when did he make observations like that?

Kakashi leaned against the wall outside the exam room doors. His team would be coming soon To register for the chuunin exam and he planned to greet them. He could only hope Sakura would show up. She was the only one who didn't seem excited about the chuunin exams, in fact she looked like she was going to bolt.
He never told them that they could only go if all the team wasn't present. He didn't want the boys to harass Sakura. She had to come up with a decision on her own.

A few minutes past and kakashi listened to the sounds of scuffle, happening somewhere down the hall.

Who was fighting? The exams haven't even started yet? Kakashi thought. He could hear voices, kakashi knew those voices, it was naruto and Sakura and most likely sasuke but he's always quiet.

A few minutes later a miniature gai walked by him, giving him a slight bow before entering the exam room. Maybe he was the one fighting sasuke.

Not long after that his team showed up. He talked to them and gave them advice, as they were all about to walk in kakashi stoped naruto.

"Naruto these games are dangerous, you can get badly hurt and even die, so I just wanted you to know is be careful, you can't be using that ability" kakashi said with a sigh.

"Yeah I know kakashi sensei, gramps hokage already told me to be careful and I don't even like using it, so don't worry to much, I'll try and keep it under control, okay" naruto finished, now walking to the door to catch up to his team.

" ok then well good luck" kakashi said and disappeared, leaving white spoke behind.

Naruto court up to his team. The room was huge and their are a lot of people here for the exam, a lot of different people from different villages were here. Naruto grinned, not at all affected by the glares being thrown their way. She had suffered worse his whole life. No way was he going to be scared away.

"So what did kakashi sensei want to talk to you about". Sakura asks

"Nothing much" naruto says still looking around the room

"Come on naruto we are a team, so you can tell us, right sasuke?" Sakura says turning to sasuke to gets his opinion.

"Nn" was all sasuke said. Although you could tell he was also curious.

"Fine, all he wanted to say was to not use my 'ability' in the exam, considering it's dangerous" naruto says truthfully.

He looked at his team mates after saying that, they all had this serious look on their faces.

"Sasuke"

Team seven flinched at the high pitch voice of ino yamanaka. Naruto moved aside so the blonde girl could get past and hug him. Sakura was in ino's face immediately, screaming about how sasuke was hers and that the 'pig' had to back off or else.

Shikamaru and choji walked up at a much slower pace then Ino. "Man you guys are here too? What a drag" shikamaru groaned.

"I see you are still as lazy as before" naruto says.

"Yeah whatever, " shikamaru says, shrugging his shoulders.

A few minutes later the rest of the teams came in, including the rest of the rookies from the leaf.

"Yahoo! It looks like the gangs all back together" kiba shouts.

Everyone turned around to look at kiba and his team mates shino and hinata.

After all the rookies arrived they talked for a bit, making a big commotion, until someone interrupted them.

"You guys shouldn't draw so much attention to yourselves"

The nine rookies all looked over at the sliver hair teen with glasses, grinning at them as he came closer.

"Who are you" Sakura demanded in a bitchy tone.

The teen laughed "I am kabuto yakushi. I wanted to tell you that because you guys are the rookies, fresh out of the academy, you've already gained the attention of everyone here. Most of which have taken the chunin exams multiple times and have failed. You don't want to get anymore attention drawn to yourselves. A lot of them don't appreciate newbies coming in."

Sakura gave him a look "how many times have you Taken the exam, then?"

"Umm... this my my seventh time" kabuto says a bit embarrassed.

The rookies all stared at him in silence.

"But don't count me out just yet, I did do some information gathering while I was here, so it wasn't a complete waste of time" kabuto told them, pulling out a deck of cards. "These are my ninja info cards. Anything about a competitor that you want to know, as long as you have a name or description, is all in here."

Sasuke moved forward, "rock lee, sabaku no Gaara and naruto uzumaki."

Naruto fixed the teme a glare. What the hell did he want to know?

Kabuto chuckled and swiped his hand over the deck, pulling out three cards "here they are."

He placed them down and focused chakra into the first. "Rock lee graduated last year with props for his amazing tai jutsu, although his other skills are severely lacking. His sensei is maito gai and his team mates are neji hyuga and tenten. He didn't take the chunin exams last year cause him and his teammates wanted to train more. He's been on 42 D rank missions and 18 C rank missions, none of which failed."

Kabuto focused his chakra into the next card. "Okay. Next we have sabaku no Gaara, from suna. His sensei is Baki and his teammates are temari and kankuro. There isn't much about him. He's been on 8 D rank and whoa! One B rank even though he's a genin"

That everyone's attention. The guy had done a B rank?

"There's something else! Every mission he's been on has been a complete success" kabuto said with a shocked tone.

" well, you said that bushy brow had a perfect mission records, so why can't Gaara?" Naruto asked, not getting the big whoop.

"He came back, completely unscathed."

Kabuto let the news sink in for a bit, before adding chakra to the last card. Naruto's picture came up, and all the stats as well. "Let's see. Naruto uzumaki, graduated this year after failing three times?" Kabuto have him a questioning look before continuing. " Genjutsu is nonexistent, taijutsu and ninjutsu are extremely high! Can perform the A class jutsu, the multi shadow clone jutsu, created another jutsu that is similar to the multi shadow clone is called the harem jutsu also known as sexy jutsu. His sensei is kakashi hatake, his teammates are sasuke uchiha and Sakura haruno."

Naruto wanted to know how kabuto new so much, but the teen continued on before he could ask. "Knows kenjutsi and fuinjutsu. Both skills are high. Has been on 68 D rank missions and one C turned A rank. Also has done a B rank mission, although it says here, that it was a mission before you became a genin, which makes me wonder..." kabuto trailed off.

He looked naruto in the eye "why did you fail three times if you can do all this? Were you pretending or something? People don't get this good over night you know and what is this B rank mission you went on before you even became a genin?"

The rookies all looked at naruto who was trying her hardest not to glare at the teen " yes. I did it for my own reasons, an I don't have to tell you why and as of the B rank mission I did before I became genin, well let's see haven't you all realised why I suddenly past the genin test even after I failed, I mean you all saw me fail, right?" Naruto says in a matter of fact tone.

"I was always wondering about how you past the exams after you failed them." Shikamaru says, trying to think why he didn't realise sooner.

Ino was up in his face In an instant "why the hell didn't you tell us? We all thought you were an idiot"

Naruto turned his glare to Ino. "Why should I tell you anything? It's not like we're friends" he said with a frown.

Everyone was shocked, to know that the dead last, the dobe of the class was actually stronger and most likely smarter then they new an they didn't know anything.

Shikamaru looked at naruto in a new light. Wasn't naruto the dead last like him? Then why was he faking stupidity? Arg how troublesome.

Naruto turned to kabuto " so, how did you find all of that out? My sensei doesn't even know that much about me. How did you come across such detailed information? And I would be honest if I were you. Your answer kabuto?"

His question got everyone's attention back on to kabuto again.

"W-well, I gather info on anyone who becomes a genin." Kabuto explained.

A blur out of the corner of his eye, got naruto attention. He acted immediately, blocking the attack that was aimed at kabuto, with his sword.

No one saw naruto pull out a sword. One minute he was in one place and the next he was gone, somehow he had managed to hide a sword on him as well as use it to stop the oto nin that had attacked kabuto. It was shocking.

"You seriously lost it over that? Grow up" naruto sighed in annoyance.

He stumbled back as his partners came to back him and they returned back to where they were.

A large explosion followed by a dust cloud, appeared. When it cleared, there was a group of ninja with a really tall man in a black trenchcoat standing at the end of the room.

"Alright, that's enough! No more fighting! Get a number an sit down" the man ordered.

Naruto sighed and stepped forward. To everyone's astonishment, the sword was gone, where did it go?

The genin couldn't linger as the first part of the chunin exams was starting. They were given numbers and told to sit in their assigned seats.
