29: Cloth
Elora looked at the beautiful colors and textures of cloths. Some where pure white, others were a light pink or yellow.
"Oh! Elora! However will you choose just one?!" Lucy asked, standing by her soon to be sister-in-law.
Elora took a deep breath and shook her head slowly.
"I have no clue where to even start." Elora mumbled. Luckily Susan stepped in.
"Well. Do you want a white dress or a colored one?" Susan asked. Elora thought for a moment.
"Definitely a white one." She said. Susan nodded in approval.
"Alright. So do you want it to be a foofy one or more of a longer, simpler one?"
Elora giggled at Susan's choice of adjectives.
"I want a longer simpler one." Elora answered.
Susan kept asking questions until they were down to three choices.
"How about this one? It will match you crown better!" Lucy pointed at a fabric with a leafy embroidery pattern on it. Elora studied it.
"Yes it would." She said softly. She looked at the other two. She reached out to touch the other one. She gasped. It was so soft.
"Lucy, feel this one." She said. Lucy felt it and her eyes widened.
"Yes! This one is amazing!" Lucy said. Susan reached over to feel it.
"Oh. That's very nice."
"I want this one!" Elora stated. She put her face against the cool cloth. Susan took it off the shelf.
"Yes. It is lovely." She said as she inspected it closer.
Soon they had told the dressmakers what they wanted, and Elora was most likely the happiest person in all of Narnia.
