(Nightmare x reader)

Y/n never had a nightmare, for Dream loved her and wouldn't allow it, and so her dreams were always good until, Dream confessed his feelings towards her, and she didn't share the same feelings he had, And Dream left her.

And seeing that his brother had finally left the object of his desire, nightmare quickly swooped in and took her for himself, Leaving her with nothing but nightmares.

She loved her nightmares. She loved the feeling of fear. She loved the feeling of pain, and guilt. She loved the shadows. She never wanted it to end. But dream came back, and seeing the darkness he quickly took you away from it. You didn't want to leave it behind. But dream wouldn't let you take it or it take you. For dream still loved you. But this made you hate dream. For you loved your nightmares, and they loved you. And Dream was keeping you from them. And keeping you to himself.

You sit in your window of the room Dream has you kept in.
The world looks so perfect, it's to fake, you hate it.

I wish my nightmare were here...

Dream: y/n! I have to leave for awhile, so I'll be leaving you with ink while I'm gone!

...

Dream: y/n?

Leave then.

Dream: ok...

I hate ink
He causes nothing but suffering, and people still consider him the good guy.
At least nightmare embraces who he is.
Ink just lies to everyone and even to himself.
He's fake, just like Dream, just like this world he has you kept in.

You punch the wall
It cracks slightly
You punch it harder
The crack grows larger
You rapidly punch it
The crack it almost a hole
You stop to catch your breath
Ink comes through the door
Sees the noticeably large dent in the wall
Fixes it, undoing all of effort
