The man's head was bowed, kneeling in front of a crude wooden cross. Only a year ago the Wars had taken Her, yet it still was excruciating.
First his family, then his friends, until She was ripped away too. How he could bear so much sorrow was a mystery even to him. He hardly knew how to smile anymore.
Her smile.
A fresh wave of grief rolled over him, but he would not cry... Even as he thought it, a single tear trickled down his face and splashed onto Her grave's soil. And in that place, one tear-shaped tulip bloomed.

This story is one word past a hundred, and maybe a bit sad, but I couldn't not love it! It's called Beauty In Tears.
