“I think we're lost.” I slowed down the car.

“Are you kidding?” My friend panicked.

My little brother groaned. “I'm hungry!"

Out of nowhere, we smelled delicious grill. We pulled over in front of a small food cart.

The owner looked sad, like he carried the weight of the world.

“Are you ok?” I asked him.

The man bursted into tears. He explained that his daughter was sick. He had no money to buy her medicine. His work had been slow until we showed up.

“God sent you for us." He smiled through his tears

We knew he was right.
