She entered his room. “Dinner's ready, Jay.”

“Coming, mom,” he replied as he adjusted his clothes in the bag.

“Everything packed?” she asked.

“Almost done.”

“Tell me if you need any help,” she offered.

Jay smiled. “Yes. Can you pack yourself for me? I want to take you to students hostel with me.”

She laughed and hugged him tightly, with tears in her eyes.
