Childbirth was way easier than raising a child. My baby is beautiful, when she came out of the womb she had little speckles of frizzy black hair and still has a red oval mark on the right side of her forehead. She cries a lot - especially at night but alhamdullilah, Ammu has been helping a lot.

 On the seventh day after her birth we shaved her head but now she has a full head of hair, it's absolutely adorable. She definitely got her luscious locks from her father. 

Also on the seventh day, Bhabi came to visit, we both had a heart to heart and she says she'll always come visit but naturally she needs to stay with her mom since her younger sister is still gone. We both agreed Sharmin had her Mama's nose. Bhai would've absolutely loved Sharmin, he was so excited to have a niece but Allah surely had better plans. Despite the war, I feel content with most things. Once the war ends I will be at peace and my Bhai's dream of Bangladesh will be fulfilled.
