🌟🌟 Ep1 : Mascot Down Pt.3/3

Nancy devises a plan to confront the person responsible for the stolen Mascot off campus .

First she sets up a fake argument between herself and the guy she loves Ned Nickerson to get the attention of others .

Bess falls for it offering some type of comfort .

" Oh Nancy , I can't believe it's over between you and Ned not over something so trivial ! " states Bess

Nancy continues her charade .

" He was right , he called me a lousy detective for not finding the culprit who stole a stupid mascot !

I am losing my touch ..that's it I am quitting sleuthing ! " she begins with a few tears ..

Bess is eating this up .

" Nancy Drew , you stop talking like that !

You are a wonderful detective ..

You just can't win every case is all ! "

she remarks

Nancy's floored by her best friends hurt words .

" You are jelous of me aren't you Bess ?

What is it huh ?!

You want my boyfriend ?! "

demands Nancy no longer playing but truly giving into her anger and hurt .

She realized Bess is the only person who could have commited this crime !

Bess caves ..

" Alright ..enough I did it ok ?!

I stole the mascot ..I was hoping it just once you screwed up on solving a case people wouldn't pay you soo much attention ! " reveals Bess

Nancy begins to shed tears again ..

" I trusted you in my life ..

I no longer can be around you ..

Go turn yourself in before I do it myself ! "

she demands .

Bess sneers ..

" Shut up Nancy Drew !

You think you got it all figured out ..

Try this on for size ..

Your boyfriend's keeping a secret from you ! " teases Bess .
