The time has come. The time they were all moving up in the world. Their carefree little souls about to move somewhere more complex.

Their time together felt so short, yet long.

They all had grown, not just physically. Emotionally, mentally, etc.

Well...some of them grew that way. Some just didn't grow at all.

They all have joined a family that they were all gonna grow up with. They've learned to support each other, and have each other's back.

"Everyone! Today is the last day! We have to make it count for the better of our teachers!" Jyugo announced, standing on a chair.

   "But the last time we all tried to walk to the mall, Samon took away TV time, AND limited recess." Uno complained, pointing to the TV that was sitting on the colorful rug.

"Don't worry! We can make them something! Like...a card...as a way to remember us! But it has to be a special card!" Jyugo scanned around the room.

Everyone else just looked up at him, wondering when he would get down. Hajime and Samon would be returning any moment now with their snacks.

   "You know...imma miss you all...and Hajime and Samon..." spoke Liang, tears forming at the corners of his eyes. They started to stream down his face, as he loudly screamed.

"No, don't cry Liang. We still have ways we can see each other!"

   "HOW?! I WON'T BE ABLE TO COME HERE ANYMORE!" The crying continued, and everyone gave him a nice big hug. Drying his tears.

"Liang?! Why are you crying?! Guys what happened?!" Samon almost dropped everything trying to make his way over to the crying child. Hajime just stood back, since he mostly ended up being the bad guy.

The children all surrounded poor Liang, his non stop bubble tears just continuing to come down.

"It's okay Liang, tell you what, listen to me." Samon said, lifting Liangs' chin. Giving a reassuring smile. "We could arrange a little trip during the summer okay? Just this class."

   Everyone's face lit up.

   A huge, loud, cheer filled the small classroom.

   "TO THE BEACH!" Everyone chanted, well...

   ...almost everyone.

   "FOOD!" Chanted Rock.

   Samon and Hajime smiled, seeing this trip as a set deal, the only thing left was to get permission from each parent to let them go.

Which hopefully will be simple.

Jyugo screeched, realizing the day was almost coming to an end.

"WE NEED TO DO SOMETHING FUN!" He screamed, then ran around and circled everyone up, "THE DAYS ALMOST DONE AND WE HAVEN'T EVEN DONE ANYTHING!"

   "Jyugo! Jyugo! Wait wait! First, stop screaming. Second, take a deep breath. What is it you want to do?"

"SOMETHING FUN! HIDE 'N SEEK!" He shouted, and everyone stopped whatever they were doing. Then scattered.

Not just in the room.

The building.

"Oh...my...f—"

"Don't say it Hajime."

* * *

Liang and Rock both were hanging out in the cafeteria. In Rocks mind, it was the best place to hide. They have endless supply of food while they hide.

   "Are you sure this won't be the first place they check for you?" Liang asked, his head tilted.

   Then Rock looked back at Liang.

   "WE WERE PLAYING A GAME?!"

   Jyugo and Uno ran off together, they were holding each other's hand so they didn't lose each other. Then they ran into Momoko.

   "Where you darlings headed to?" She asked sweetly, smiling down at them.

   "Bathroom!"

   And zoom past they went.

Momoko shook her head, and giggled.

"What a lively group Hajime and Samon have."

"Ahhh! Upa! They're gaining on us!" Nico screamed, trying to move his small legs faster. Samon and Hajime slowly closing in on the pair.

"SPLIT!" Upa screamed, and they both went in separate directions.

Well...tried to...

The hallway they were running in was just a one way path, so they started running zigzags. Which did make it harder for the teachers to catch them.

   Then came Rokuriki. Nico ran right between that mans legs, THEN the two of them split.

   However, Samon and Hajime weren't that small.

   "MOVE IT ROKURIKI!" Hajime screamed harshly, practically pushing his way pass the clueless teacher.

   "Sorry Rokuriki! Children on the loose!" Samon explained, trying to figure out which one to catch first.

* * *

   "GET UP TROIS! BEFORE THEY FIND US!" Honey screamed, pulling Trois up off the ground.

   "IM COMING IM COMING!"

Then Qi came running by with Musashi.

"You boys hiding from Samon and Hajime too?" He asked, and gestured for the two of them to join him.

   They did. Musashi was giggling.

   "Away we go!" Qi chuckled, then went right to his office.

* * *

"Okay, so far, we have Rock, Upa, and...WAIT WE ONLY CAUGHT TWO?!" Hajime practically cried, knowing this would take the rest of his life to catch these criminal like children.

"It's like they all suddenly disappeared! Liang went missing right after we caught Rock with the food. I haven't seen Nico ever since we first started chasing them...but we caught Upa..."

"Looking for them kids I see. And on the last day of school? What did you do to them Hajime?" Mitsuru asked, and wrapped his arm around Hajimes neck playfully.

However Hajime didn't find it very playful.

"Get the f—"

"HAJIME!"

"OKAY! MITSURU MOVE YOUR D—"

Smack.

"Wow Hajime, and to think that working with kids would fix that cursing like a sailor habit of yours." Mitsuru spun away, before Samon would smack him too.

"Goodness Hajime! We talked about this!"

"Look! I'm sorry!"

"WHO DO YOU THINK YOU'RE RAISING YOUR VOICE AT?!"

"OBVIOUSLY THE ONE WHO'S RAISING IT RIGHT BACK AT ME!"

While the two screamed at each other, Liang game dashing down the hallway, Qi behind him.

"I KNOW YOUR TRICKS YOU SICK NURSE!" Liang screamed as he ran pass. Catching Samon and Hajimes attention.

"Get him!" Samon shouted, then started running after the child.

"AHHHH!!! JYUGO HELP ME!!" Liang screamed.

Passing by the Nurses office, Qi shouted.

"ALRIGHT GUYS GET 'EM!"

And almost immediately, Samon and Hajime were tackled to the ground by every single child they had taught that went scattering.

   "What the—?" Samon looked at everyone, watching them giggle as they tightened their hugs and smiled up at them.

  The warmth was so soothing. Not even he wanted to let them go.

   "Today was the last day...so we wanted to tell you both something very important!" Nico said.

   "Thank you!" They all said in unison.

   Samon almost bawled his eyes out. Their little voice echoed in his head. He couldn't help but hug them all back. Tears slowly falling from the corner of his eyes.

   "You guys are the best! I love each and every one of you guys!"

Hajime noticed the tears crawling down Samons face, and used his thumb to wipe away the tears.

"We did agree to meet up during the summer if it was okay with their parents." Hajime chimed in, trying to get Samon to stop crying.

   "I-I know..." Samon replied, in attempt to put a halt to his tears.

* * *

   Before everyone went home, Samon printed off a permission slip to ask if it were alright to take the trip.

   Then the two teachers went home. Samon unable to drive due to tears taking up his vision.

   "I can't believe the year is over...I'm going to miss those precious children..." Samon sighed, and nearly broke down into tears again. The mere memory of their warm group hug made his heart thump harder.

   "Your crying face was precious."

   "Shut up!"

   With a snicker, and a kiss on the cheek, Hajime swung himself into their bedroom. Noticing Samons phone was glowing, and beeping non stop.

   Hajime thought it was a virus so he checked it out. Come to find out, it was the parents emailing him back about the trip.

   Each and every email read:

   "Yes, they may go, they really miss you."

   This would brighten Samons day a lot more.

   Hajime decided to wait for Samon to see it himself, so he just slipped into the bed and waited.

   "Those rascals are gonna have us running around yet again." He said to himself, smiling. Secretly also missing that monkey bunch that entertained him non stop for an entire year.
