Chapter 2:
**Y/n POV**
I walked into the small coffee shop down the street from my university. It was only 11am but I was already feeling worn out for the day.
7:30am class and I barely got out not even 15 minutes ago... Exhausting.
I smiled at the girl standing at the register, "I'll take an iced coffee."
I paid and pulled out my phone as I waited.
"Well look who it is," I turned to see a tall man walking towards me.
"Are you following me, Gojo?" I smirked at him.
"Me? Follow you? Never," he teased back.
I grabbed my drink as my order was called out and then walked over to him, "You ordering something?"
"Yea, want to wait?"
I checked the time on my phone, "Sure. Why not?"
We chatted for a bit as his drink was made and then walked out of the shop together.
"So, what're your plans today?" he asked.
I shrugged, "I work later, but otherwise nothing."
"The bookstore?"
"Mm. What are you up to today?"
"I'm actually working too," he flashed his smile at me.
"Really? Where do you work? You and Nanami came in on a random week day, so I figured you guys didn't work or something."
"Nope, we actually work together. We work for a school."
"A school!?" I looked wide eyed. "What school in their right mind would hire someone like you?!"
He laughed loudly at my joke, "You're a funny one, Y/n. Would you like to see?"
"See what?"
"Where we work."
"Oh, uh, sure. Wait! Why aren't you there right now!?"
He smirked, "Mm, it's different than most high schools. We do more experiential education. Very nontraditional."
I nodded at his words. They seemed super suspicious, but I just went along with it, "Sounds progressive."
"How exciting! You'll meet my students!"
"Is Nanami there too?" I asked, feeling a little excited at the possibility of seeing him again.
Gojo texted me to say he was coming this weekend, but I hadn't heard from Nanami yet. I was really hoping he would decide to come.
"Mm, interested in Nanami are you?"
I smirked, "Just being polite, Gojo. Why? Are you jealous?"
"I'm never jealous, Y/n," he said in a soft voice, and I just rolled my eyes. He was an interesting guy for sure and he seemed nice enough, but I really wasn't that attracted overall.
"Wow, this place is really nice," I smiled as we approached to the campus. "It looks like a temple."
"Ah yes, well, we are focused on the serene."
"Hmm," I laughed. "Sounds like I should be going here too. I could definitely use it."
"My dear Y/n, are you stressed about something?" he asked in a flirty voice.
"I am literally always stressed."
I saw him lick his lips slightly, "I can help with that."
"Oi! Gojo-sensei!! Where have you been!?" a girl called out as three uniformed students approached us.
I smiled as I saw Nanami trailing a bit behind them.
"Ah! If it isn't my precious students!" he giggled. "Students this is Y/n. Y/n meet students."
I offered them a small smile, "It's nice to meet you."
"Eh? Is she another first year coming to join us or something!?"
"Hmm? You think I look young enough to be a first year!? I'm 22!" I crossed my arms defensively.
My eyes locked onto Nanami as he finally caught up with the rest of us, "Hi Nanami."
He looked at me plainly, "Y/n. How are you?"
I shrugged, "I'm fine. I ran into Gojo at the coffee shop and he offered to show me where you both work."
"Are you Gojo-sensei's girlfriend or something?" the boy with pink hair asked.
I couldn't help but to laugh, "Girlfriend!? Me and Gojo? Yea, I don't think so."
The girl widened her eyes before laughing loudly, "Ah! I like her so much already!!"
Gojo crossed his arms after pushing up his glasses more, "And what would be so bad about being my girlfriend, huh?"
"Mmm, next question please," I teased him. "Anyway, may I know your names?"
They all took turns introducing themselves, and they seemed like such a nice group of kids.
"Well, I don't want to take up too much of your time, but thank you for letting me see your beautiful campus," I smiled at them all.
"You sure you don't want to stay for our lessons?" Gojo asked me.
"Oh, definitely not. I just spent my entire morning in class," I laughed softly. "But um, I'll see you guys on Saturday right?"
"I'll be there."
I looked at Nanami, "And what about you? Will I get to see you this weekend?"
It seemed like his eyes widened for just a brief moment at my question, "Oh, um, yes. I'll be going as well."
"Great!" I smiled at them. "Let me know if either of you need a +1 or something!"
"Bye Y/n!!" Itadori called out as I walked away and I waved back to them all, taking one last moment to smile at Nanami before turning back around.
I can't lie I was a little disappointed he hadn't texted or called me yet. Gojo reached out almost instantly, but he wasn't really the one I wanted to hear from.
Then again, I don't think a guy like Nanami would really be interested... I mean today he was wearing a full-blown suit, and I was an art student who worked part time at a bookstore.
I sighed as I thought about it. I shouldn't get so hung up on a guy I barely know anyway... but there was just something about him that left me wanting more.
I pulled out my phone as it buzzed.
Gojo Satoru
We'll both be needing that +1
Thanks love! See you Saturday!
Fantastic. So Nanami was bringing a date to the showcase. I guess it doesn't get any more clear than that. He definitely wasn't into me.
