Concerns had been raised by a parent regarding the violence and they even expressed concern about the possibility of a school shooting. The school put anti-suicide programs into place. There were two shooters, both of which were apprehended within fourteen minutes of the police being called. The first shooter, aged eighteen, was tackled by three students, one of which was shot in the chest and died. This shooter claimed that he follow the orders of the second shooter, aged sixteen, out of fear for his life. The second shooter said he was targeting two specifics students over bullying for his gender identification. Reportedly both students did cocaine before the shooting. There were signs about the impending school shooting, the students had even told people not to come to cool and posted several things alluding to this. Satanic items were found in the elder shooter's home.
