Heartkit wasn't as crushed as he should've been that he couldn't train to be a warrior due to his disease, in fact he was more than happy to take on the role of medicine apprentice. He spent ages trying to figure out the cure to this and the cure to that, all while taking care of patients who had problems with known cures. He even got a bandana for all his hard work! Heartkit, now Heartstripe, is working hard constantly to one day cure his mother's pink eye.

Sandkit was the first to fall face flat in the sand just so her littermates didn't need to know how it felt. She was always insistent that if there was something even slightly new or dangerous she should try it first. She looks up to Heartkit especially, as he does his part for his clan. Some clan members call her reckless, some call her resilient. Sandkit got her warrior name a bit later than the others due to the injuries she gained and is now known as Sandwhisper.

Foamkit was always drawn to the ocean, and always reminded his parents of it due to his ocean-blue eyes. As soon as he took the first steps in the water, he felt a strange emotion wash over him: Joy. Later on in his apprenticeship, it was impossible to get him away from the ocean. He was the clan's best swimmer and he managed to catch the most seafood. He was later dubbed Foamwhisper, matching his sister to indicate how they both courageously tried something new.

Palmkit was the opposite of Sandkit; she was almost always frightened. She made sure to stay as far away from the ocean as possible, all while avoiding crabs on the beach. She spent a lot of time digging bite-sized mussels to feed the clan when she was an apprentice. Though it was a bit of a disappointment for the older members, the mussels actually provided the perfect amount of nutrients to kits of around 3 moons and older. She was affectionately named Palmleaf after the populous tree and it's delicate leaves.
