🔥Natsu's P.O.V🔥

Lucy went upstairs into her room and didn't come back down. I sat on her couch and closed my eyes, not trying to fall asleep, but not wanting to be awake. Sadly, I fell asleep, and woke up to the sound of someone knocking on the door. I looked over at the clock and saw that it was past 10 in the night. I looked at my hands and as I had expected, I still had my red demon scales.

 "Lucy! Open up now! You haven't paid up!" I heard a girl tell from the other side of the door. I quietly got up and looked through the peep hole, and saw that it was that Lisanna girl.

She just doesn't stop, does she? I thought in anger as I quietly went up the stairs to find Lucy.

Lucy was in her room, the door open, while she lied in bed asleep. Of course, I didn't expect her to be awake, nor did I want to wake her for the stupid Lisanna girl.

"What does Lisanna want?" Lucy mumbled, not moving from her bed though.

"Umm... She said something about you being late on her pay or something like that." I whispered, surprised she was awake.

 "Ugh. She's rich enough as a snob. Hang on, I'm coming." She said, getting out of her bed and walking to a dresser. She pulled out a box and a doll of dollar bills . A lot of them.

 "You're just going to give it to her? No!" I said, snapping out of my spacing out and snatching the money from her hand.

 "If she's still there by morning when I'm back to human, then I'll deal with her. You're going to stop dipping down to her level and giving her what she wants." I said, placing the money back.

"Fine. But here. You're going to want these to cover your ears. She can get really whiny." She said, giving me headphones and a music player.

I thanked her and went back downstairs to the couch, and indeed, Lisanna was whining so loudly and high pitched it hurt my ears. I plugged the headphones in and out them on, tuning her voice out and replacing it with music.

I fell right back to sleep, ignoring the little whiner outside.
