Lucy was looking around her apartment. " Ok guys I know you are in here" She laughs lightly almost as if she was slightly scared. There was no answer to her calling. She checked her bed for Natsu but all she found was his scarf. "Natsu! Come on out this isn't funny!" Natsu never came out. She picks up his scarf and tears start flowing. A knock is heard. She puts on his scarf and opens the door Erza walks into the apartment with the most terrifying look on her face. Erza had obviously been crying over something. She looks Lucy in the eyes and says something Lucy will never be able to move on from. Erza hugs Lucy as she is crying with everything she has in her body due to this awful news. Happy comes flying in through the open door " Erza... you told her didn't you... I told you to wait till the announcement at the guild to tell her" Erza looks at happy and just shakes her head and continues to hug Lucy " she deserves to be told about what happened to him before any of the others you and I both know that" Lucy has lost her voice from the crying . Erza let's go " happy you know he left you to take care of her although she is more likely to take care of you than the other way around. Lucy you don't have to go to the guild later but please try to." Lucy nods and Erza leaves the apartment " Lucy..." happy starts crying. She picks him up and hugs him crying aswell. She wipes away her tears trying to get her self together but it isn't working she squeezes happy tightly . Leo appears " I sence that my lady is in need... Lucy what's wrong" he notices Natsu's scarf. " No... " he hugs Lucy " hey... it will be ok..." happy falls asleep crying in Lucy's arms " Lucy Let's go to the guild erza is making an announcement . " she nods and carries happy to the guild. Every at the guild looks at Lucy and natsus scarf and they automatically realise what this announcement is going to be about . Some start tearing up others are crying silently and only one isn't doing any of thoes because she looks dead like everything she ever knew was gone. Lucy looks like she died. Every one is looking up at erza knowing full well what she is going to say every one is holding their breath hoping what they are thinking isn't true. Erza looks at every one " to the members of fairy tail I am so very sorry to announce that our dearest member who we all have seen like a son, brother or other member of our beloved family is.... " erza breaks down crying and Lucy gets up to help erza up off the ground and says in the littlest amount of voice she has" natsu is .... gone." Erza hugs Lucy crying. Every one looks at Lucy knowing just how hard this hit her . As soon as the news sinks in everyone is screaming and crying at the loss of Natsu. Lucy is silent and Leo goes back to the celestial spirit world. This news hit her harder than anyone there. She left not saying a word to anyone. Happy leaving with her. No one outside of fairy tail will know about his death till tomorrow and as soon as the news gets out to the sabertooth guild there will be people dripping in and out of her apartment just to say to her that they are sorry for her loss. "Happy?" He looks at her " do you think he loved me?" Happy laughs " Lucy why are you asking me that I may have been his best friend but he didn't like talking about the people he liked or loved for that matter " Lucy giggled " yeah " she looked up at the sky crying again" let's just get home lucy" she nods and walks home to her apartment and opens the door hoping with everything in her heart that she would see Natsu sitting on her bed wearing his signature smile, but he's not. He is gone and there is nothing Lucy can do to bring back the boy who changed her world and made her know what being in love felt like.
