Natsu and Lucy have been dating for a solid two months. Natsu seemed to be stuck in the honey moon stage the whole time while Lucy seemed to be drifting towards a more true love kind of stage. Fortunately they never found anything bad about this, they were as close as always and never felt uncomfortable around each other.

So now, as they were camping out after a day of traveling, since Lucy actually agreed to walk instead of taking a train, the couple were huddled up in a blanket as they faced the fire Natsu had created for them both.

The pinkette sat behind her, his legs on either side and his chin resting on her shoulder, as he wrapped his arms around her waist... The blanket draped over them.

Lucy only smiled as she was paying all of her attention to her book, to Natsu's dismay... For he was always in the constant mood for attention.

"Lucy..." He mumbled, nudging her head with his. "Lucyyyy~"

"Hm?" She hummed, turning the page.

"Are you done reading? I'm bored..." He huffed, burying his face in the crook of her neck. "Can we talk or something?"

Lucy marked her page with her index finger before turning her head to look at him. "What do you want to talk about? I thought you always want to cuddle or kiss or... You know... That fluffy stuff."

Natsu pouted and lifted his head so she could turn around to face him. "That's not all I like to do with you. I like talking with you. Best friends talk, so that's what we'll do." He said with a determined tone.

Lucy giggled and scooted closer so she could feel his body heat. "Okay... Then give me a topic and we'll talk about it."

Natsu nodded and thought for a moment before blurting out something random. "What's you're favorite... Season?"

"Oh that's easy! Summer!" Lucy smiled, closing her eyes gleefully.

Natsu couldn't help but peck her lips at the sight, making her eyes flutter open as she stared at him with confusion. "Huh?"

"Oh summer. My name means summer." Natsu chuckled, pretending that what he just did, didn't happen. "Next question."

"Wait—"

"—Who would win in a fight? Mira or Erza?"

"Trick question." She stated. "But—"

"Ah! You're so smart!" Natsu cheered and pecked her lips again as he held her cheeks.

Lucy turned a bright red and watched as his eyes twinkled with excitement. So he did want to cuddle and kiss, not making a casual conversation. What did she expect? The boy talks when he wants to talk.

Pretty soon, the blonde began to smile and continue with his little game, answering his questions to be rewarded with kisses on her mouth, nose, forehead, cheeks, chin... Nothing too serious besides the couple passionate kisses he would give her from time to time.

"Okay an easy question." Natsu grinned as he leaned in closer, ready for another kiss.

"Lay it on me."

"Do... You love me?"

Lucy giggled and reached up to twirl her finger in in his pink hair. "Well~" she sang, making it obvious she was joking around.

Natsu laughing and pinched her sides making her laugh in return at the ticklish feeling. "What do you mean well weirdo." He snorted and watched as he doubled over in laughter.

"Love you! I love you!" Lucy wailed, squirming around as she pleaded for him to stop. He hovered over her with a soft smile as she let out her last pops of laughter. "I love you..."

Natsu watched as she calmed down again before giving her a heated kiss, smiling all the while. "I love you too. Forever I will."
