"AHA!!" Natsu laughed, placing his hands on his hips with triumph, facing his friends. "I REQUEST CAMPING THEN."

The group of teenagers were in their last period class, a study hall, at fairy tail high. Erza had requested a fun activity for spring break, and Natsu was the first to bud in... rather quickly.

"Camping?" Lucy questioned. "Nande?"

"It's fun!" Natsu gave a toothy grin and took a photo out of his pocket. "I'll even bring Happy." he held up a picture of his blue cat. "He loves the outdoors, especially if I take him to go fishing."

"Juvia agrees!" The preppy blue haired girl beamed, glancing over at Gray who gives a small shrug and a nod.

"I never went camping..." Erza hummed, a slight sparkle in her eyes. "Im in."

"You can get Jellal to come." Lucy smirked, nudging Erza's arm.

"I would love to." Jellal came out of nowhere, next to Erza, who nearly screamed.

"Great!" Natsu cheered. "Lucy?"

"Hm?" The blonde sighed, resting her hand in her palm.

"Are you coming along?"

"Gee... I don't know, I have homework." she grumbled. "I was out for awhile. So they are making me do it now."

"Oi." Gray scoffed. "We did it before. just go on the trip and we'll help you if you need anything."

"Gray-sama is so nice." Juvia cooed, with hearts in his eyes.

"I know I am."

Lucy looked up at Natsu, as he smiled encouragingly. "ok ok fine I'll go."

"Yosh!" He chuckled and took his seat next to Lucy and gray.

"Ahhhh..." Natsu sighed as he stumbled out of the car. "finally out of that thing."

Gray sweat dropped and grabbed his and Juvia's bags. "yeah yeah let's just set up camp alright? Jellal, you too."

Jellal snapped awake out of his nap, noticing he was leaning on Erza the whole time... and she was cherry red. "oh haha sorry." he chuckled awkwardly and stepped out of the car, grabbing hers and his bag also.

Lucy got out and sat down next to Natsu, whom was laying down in the dirt, enjoying flat ground. "Natsu~" she whistled and poked his cheek.

Happy jumped down out of the car and rubbed his head on Natsu's cheek. It worked obviously, for he raised his body up off the ground and started petting the blue creature.

The pink haired boy picked up happy and put him in Lucy's arms. "I'll get your bags."

Lucy blushed and nodded as he got up, and walked to the back of the car. she followed him as he walked over to where everyone was setting up and he placed their stuff next to each other.

"Wait... whoa whoa why are we sharing a tent?" Lucy blushed, holding tightly into Happy.

"We have three tents." Jellal said from behind her. "Mira helped us pick out the best sleeping partners."

"Of course..." she sweat dropped.

Gray looked slightly uncomfortable with the idea but he went with it anyway as he finished his, and Juvia's tent. "they fit only two to three people."

"C'mon Luce." Natsu said, practically finished with theirs. "Im your best friend, I wouldn't do anything."

Lucy glared at him for a moment before smiling. "fine fine."

After everything was set up, Lucy and Natsu decided to go into their tent and lay out their blankets. It was uncomfortably quiet as none of them said a word.

Natsu sighed and sat on his comforter, looking over at his best friend stubbornly. He sighed even louder to get her attention.

The blonde slowly glared over at him, "what."

"You're to silent." he complain, crawling closer to her. "talk with me."

"You're acting like a child..." he mumbled and fixed her blankets, even though there was nothing to be fixed.

Natsu frowned and grabbed her wrist. "you need to get your mind off of school work, Luce."

"I'm not thinking about tha-"

"You are."

Lucy's cheeks turned red with embarrassment as she looked away.

Natsu looked at for a moment before giving her a small peck on her forehead. "Im gonna help Jellal with the fire. It's your decision if you come out or not."

Lucy blushed and nodded, not looking over at him as he walked out of their tent.

"Where's Lucy?" She heard Erza say. Natsu didn't respond but she guessed that he was shaking his head.

Natsu missed her already.

Juvia and Gray were having a good time, though were an actual couple for a couple weeks. Natsu thought they would be awkward.

Jellal and Erza were talking but would become flustered and look away... only to end up talking again.

So Natsu sat alone, staring at the camp fire, twirling his marshmallow in the flames. He would let it fall off and it the burnt wood, watching as it heated up until it was only ashes.

"He's Lonely..." Gray sighed, watching as the pinkette set the end of the stick on fire, making patterns in the air.

"Juvia thinks he needs Lucy... at least." Gray's girlfriend frowned. "We know they like each other."

The raven haired boy nodded and looked toward the tent in which Lucy sat in. He could see her faint silhouette, but what was off was that it didn't look like she was reading anything, honestly it looked as if she was looking at the sky, past the tent's tarp.

Natsu put another marshmallow on his stick and rested his head in his palm. "Lucy..." he muttered to himself.

"Yes?"

Natsu flinched and looked behind him to see the blonde, smiling shyly down at him.

"You seemed alone so..."

Natsu dropped the stick and stood up, pulling her into a hug.

"Huh?" She hummed at his sudden action.

"Thank you." he whispered and broke apart, with a grin. "I'll make you a s'more."

Lucy giggled and pulled up a seat so she could sit next to him. When he finished with the treat, he raised it to her lips and smirked. "close your eyes."

She obeyed and waited for him to tell her to open mouth. But instead, there was a different feeling... a soft sensation of lips against hers. And then the s'more...

She opened her eyes to see him giving off his usual toothy grin, with nobody even aware of what he just did. "good right?"

Lucy blushed but soon nodded with a small smile. "yes... very."

Like I said before at the top... I'm depressed because of chapter 416. I'm just not gonna spoil it because then we'll all be depressed and we wouldn't want that. Lets just hope Jason doesn't write another sad One shot haha XD
