"C'mon! You can hit harder than that!" Pink haired wizard caught blondes fist in his palm as she failed to punch him.

"I'm trying! Dammit!" She huffed and cursed the quietly.

"What? Too scared to cuss out loud?" He said mockingly. Blondes eyebrows narrowed, her temper fading at this point.

"Shut up!" She attempted to hit him again, but he easily blocked her tries.

His acts seemed to buzz around her like a fly that you can never swat. Every word, movement and breath he performed seemed to infuriate her to no end.

"You're such a baby sometimes, y'know that?"

"What?!"

"I mean you always cry and stuff for no reason, you always hit me when I'm in your apartment, and you are pretty annoying by yourself." He said with a smug.

Lucy's face began to twitch at his words.
She wasn't thinking when she let out her boiling antipathy and swung her tight fist, too quick and potent, into Natsu's defined jaw; the impact felt like thousands of venomous blades piercing through his head.

The boy fell to his butt from the hit. He winced before rubbing the spot with his palm.

"Who's the annoying baby now, wuss?" She smirked before Natsu returned the gesture and got to his feet.

"That's my girl." He wrapped his arms around her and kissed her cheek, succeeding at making her blush.

Lucy tried suppressing her smile but pinkette was quick to notice her behavior. He got closer to examine her face. That's when she got the opportunity to tackle him.

And she did.

Natsu lied on the ground, glaring at the girl above him. She held his wrists tightly as she moved forward to give him a kiss.

Their lips connected and for a brief moment, they were in sync.

There was a joy in how they did it, as if for a moment they were happily absorbed by a feeling of love that always played in his subtle smile and soft gaze.

For the first time ever Lucy could see every day of her future being as peaceful as this, and she wanted it, she wanted to stay and be apart of it more than anything she ever wanted.

"So, anger is what gets you fired up, huh?" Natsu smiled as they parted.

Celestial mage smiled back and lied next to him on the soft grass. Just watching clouds move and take different forms as they collided their hands together.
