"Would you like another drink, Lucy?" White haired mage asked sweetly as she noticed the blonde slurping the last bits of her smoothie.

"No, I'm good. Thanks, Mira.." she smiled in response.

Blonde stretched as she glanced at the request board.

"I should get some work done.." she got up and walked towards the board. She tapped her chin as she scanned the board.

One job request caught her eye, it was a plead from an old women for help, she needed a strong wizard to defeat some kind of a monster that's been terrorizing her village.

Lucy has been searching for a job where she could see if her training paid off and this seemed like the perfect opportunity.

She snatched the job off the board and went over to Mira.

"Nice pick, you're approved to go!" She exclaimed. Blonde gave her a smirk and headed off to the train station.

As the train moved and she looked at the nature in all its glory she couldn't help but notice that Natsu wasn't in the guild today.

I should've asked Mira if he went on a job.. She thought to herself.

Soon enough, she arrived at her destination. She stepped off the train and looked around. She was the only person on the stop and it seemed kind of sketchy.

Lucy walked towards the address given on the job request while looking around for anyone.

Knock, knock

An old lady creaked the door open.

"Hello! I'm Lucy from Fairy Tail, I came to fulfill your request." Blonde smiled at the lady as she invited her in.

Blonde sat down on the couch as the woman placed two cups of tea in front of her. She sat at the seat across from the Celestial mage and took a sip of her drink.

"You see, this creature appears during the night time only.." the lady said. She seemed scared as the sun began to set. Lucy took a notice of her behavior and sat next to her.

She placed her hand on hers and smiled.

"You don't need to worry, I'll take care of everything." She said assuringly. The woman lead her to the place where the creature would usually come out of and returned to the safety of her home.

Blonde waited patiently for it to show, and it only took few minutes after the sunset for it to appear.

It stepped out of the shadows and revealed its true form.

It rose, a mass of tangled limbs, each one armour plated with a paralyzing goo seeping from black pores. The monster clicked its mandibles and followed Lucy with its enormous compound eye. Towering above her, as tall as a double decker bus, it began to emit a series of squeaks and clicks.

Lucy took a look at the thing and calculated where its weak points could be.

"Open! Gate of the lion, Leo!" She called out as the bright light revealed her former guild mate.

"Hello beautiful.." he greeted, but she ignored his slang.

"Star dress: Leo Form!" She yelled as she transformed.

- after some time -

What is this sensation? I feel so sad all of a sudden..

Lucy huffed as she looked at the creature, both of them seemed torn out. Blonde closed Leo's gate and changed into her Taurus form.

It's Natsu..

"Enough fooling around." She spoke determinately.

"Earth Wave!" She yelled out and swung her whip across the ground, causing in to swirl and unable the thing.

"Now, Virgo x Leo form!"

"Lion Maiden!" She demanded as the shooting meteors fell from the sky and defeated the monster for good.

Lucy didn't want to waste anymore time, she quickly took off to the train station; completely forgetting about the reward.

She boarded the train and impatiently tapped her leg the whole ride. She could sense there was something wrong.

As soon as the train stopped at Magnolia she sprinted towards Natsu's house. She ran as fast as she could until she reached his door.

"Natsu! You in there?" She banged on the door.

The door slowly opened, revealing a worried looking cat at the entrance.

"Where is he?" She didn't wait for a response, she just walked inside and saw him sitting on his couch.

"Natsu, what's the matter?" She asked worriedly. One glance at him was enough to see there was something bothering him.

"How did you know there was something wrong?" He seemed puzzled as he asked.

"I'm not sure, I just sensed something and came as fast as I could.." she smiled at him, and he returned the gesture.

"Oh.. Well I'm all good since you're here." He grinned in her direction. Blonde stood up and let him rest on her.

"I'm grateful to have you, Luce." He mumbled.

"Mhm.." a soft blush spread through her cheeks as she tangled her fingers with his hair.
