"I guess we're stuck.." pink haired mage sighed as he took a look out of the window.

Snow was becoming so thick that the trees appeared as the confetti, as if they were the flakes that danced. Everywhere there was light, every crystal magnifying the rays from above, the mountain as brilliant as any camera flash.

Blonde celestial mage let out a sigh and gripped onto her blanket tighter. Her chin was trembling as she grew desperate for more warmth.

"Are you cold? You know I can help warm you up." Natsu suggested but the blonde shook her head, not wanting for their relationship to become awkward.

"N-No, I'm fine." Lucy's eyes shifted from his and she glanced at the warm fireplace.

Her palms were extended a bit, feeling the heat from the fire. It somehow managed to give her comfort.

"C'mon Luce.. you're freezing."

"I'm not!"

Fire mage made a 'tsk' noise in annoyance and walked over to the closet. He took more warm and comfy blankets, even when he was away from the blonde he could still hear her shaky chin.

Why does she feel the need to be so stubborn?

When Natsu came back he placed the blankets on the bed and walked over to the stellar mage.

"W-What are you-?" He picked her trembling body and walked back to bed. The boy put the blonde inside and tucked her in.

After some time Lucy's body started to shake again, Natsu had enough of this and jumped in next to her.

He came from behind her and immediately wrapped his arms around her. He increased his own body temperature and pulled her closer, her sleeping figure turned toward the heat and hugged him back, putting her small face in the crock of his neck.

The boy suddenly felt nervous from feeling blondes warm breath on his body. He felt somehow hot. The boy gulped.

He glanced at the blondes lips for a few seconds before slowly leaning in and placing a soft kiss on them. He never imagined for them to be so soft. As soon as he realized the mistake he just made, his cheeks turned crimson color.

He smiled sweetly and tangled their legs together before closing his eyes.

Lucy's eyes began opening few hours later. As soon as her mind came back into consciousness she noticed someone lying down beside her. As soon as she adjusted to the sunlight, her eyes widened immediately.

She noticed someone's chest in front of her and a grasp around her.

Lucy looked up only to see her best friend laying beside her. She covered her mouth since blood rushed to her cheeks.

What's he doing in my bed?!

After few moments of her inner panic, she calmed down and noticed how nice she felt. His body was warm, very warm. His grip on her waist made her feel secure. She felt protected and safe.

"Why are you staring?" Someone said with a raspy voice. Lucy yelped and backed away.

"I didn't mean-" she stuttered while anxiously moving her hands.

Natsu bursted out laughing, making the blonde stop talking. She looked at him strangely until he finally caught his breath.

"You're so funny when you're panicking" he yelled out and continued laughing.

"S-Shut up.." she shifted her glance to the side while red stained her cheeks.

"Do you want some breakfast?" She asked as she stood up, facing away.

"You know I always want food."

After few moments in the kitchen blonde called out to her best friend, letting him know that the meal's ready.

"Thank you for wanansxnx.." blonde mumbled.

"Thank you for what now..?" Natsu repeated, even with his hearing her mumbles were inaudible.

"Thank you for warming me up last night.." she whispered more clearly now.

"Oh.. sure, no problem.." he blushed for a moment before scratching the back of his neck.
