Blond haired mage looked away from her glass at the bar to the table few meters away. She glanced at the two mages sitting there, laughing and joking around; being as happy as they could be.

A sad smile spread across her face as the strings around her heart tightened. She took a deep breath in to stop the tears who threatened to fall.

"Lucy..? You okay?" A bartender with white hair asked worriedly. Her kind words pulled the blonde back into reality.

"Y-Yeah.. I'm just tired, I think I'll just head home and get some rest." She blurted while standing up and walking to guilds exit.

As she passed by, a boy with pink hair caught the glance of her. He had never seen her so sad before. A cold chill ran down his spine but he held himself back from going after her.

Lucy stepped into her apartment, not even bothering to turn any lights on. She went into the bathroom and turned on the water to fill up the tub.

She stripped down her clothes and entered her bath when it filled up.

- flashback -

The original Team Natsu; only three members were on their way home from the difficult job.

"So.. remind me why are we a team?" Blonde spat with her arms crossed under her chest. Natsu glanced at her with so much emotion behind his eyes.

"I wonder that myself.." he said before turning his gaze on the trail in front of him.

"Guys.. we really shouldn't fight over this; it was just a job. So what if we messed up, it's not our first time.." blue exceed tried to calm the situation. He hated seeing the two of them fight, they were like his parents and nobody likes seeing them fight.

"No, we definitely should! I'm sick and tired of him burning and destroying everything!"

"Oh, I'm a 'him' now?"

"Shut up."

"Well I'm sick and tired of having to save your weak ass all the time! Just do me a favor and never speak to me again!" Natsu yelled out.

"Natsu!" Happy shouted, taken by surprise of the boy's words.

Celestial mage moved her gaze from the boy and slowly nodded with a pout. She turned on her heels and began walking in a different direction.

"Where are you going, Lucy?" Blue cat asked with concern filling his voice.

"I'm going home, but I'll take different route. Don't worry, Happy.." she forced a fake smile for him and went into the woods.

- reality -

Streaming tears cleansed Lucy's red cheeks. Few droplets remained, forgetting their way as the path was swept from beneath them, consequently blurring blondes vision with waves of sadness only the broken encounter. The salty release calmly flowed into her mouth so that she could taste her own sorrow.

Then she started to remember. His smile. His voice. Memories flooding back into her head. The boy that exited her life so abruptly left her so vulnerable and lonely. The beautiful boy that took her heart...

So Lucy was left reminiscing and indulging in her past; ignoring the present and future.

"I should be angry with him.. I should do anything but miss him.." she sighed as she sat at her bed. Her head slammed onto the pillow as she hugged it closer to her.

She screamed into it, cried her eyes out into it. She was so frustrated; she just couldn't handle it.

You looked truly happy with her today, I'm glad...

I just wish you knew, I loved you too.
