"Yo Natsu! I bet I can drink more alcohol then you!" Yelled Gray across the guild to Natsu who was talking to Happy.

"You're on Ice Princess!" Natsu yelled back and sat at the bar with Gray.

"Mira, give us as many drinks as you can!" Gray slammed his palm on the wooden table and Mira nodded. She thought it would be fun.

Both of them looked at the each other in a competive way, both of their looks were saying 'I'm not gonna lose to you!'.

"Boys, I think you had enough." Said Mira, Natsu and Gray were red and their eyes were bloody. They were both drunk, they had at least 10 shoots at this point.

"We're not finished Mira *hic* gimme more *hic* I'm not gonna *hic* lose to Ice Stripper!" Yelled Natsu and Mira worriedly looked at both of them, then she got an idea.

"Alright, listen here! One more, but that's it!" She said and handed them their drinks. She left to the lacrima and called Lucy and Juvia.

"Hey girls, I have a situation..."

"Yes Mira-san?" Both of them said.

"Natsu and Gray are drunk and I need you two to take them home." Mira let out a sigh. All girls did.

"I'll be right there." Said Lucy.

"Juvia will help Mira-san." Juvia said.

Soon after Lucy and Juvia both came in the guild and found the boys at the bar, arguing with Mira about the drinks.

"Natsu! That's enough!"

"Gray-sama!"

Both of the boys froze in their positions, Lucy and Juvia's voice were a lot more scary than usual.

"Gray-sama! What are you doing?!" Juvia angrily said, stomping her foot on the floor beside Gray.

"Juvia? Why are there *hic* two of you? You're so pretty.." He said as he went to touch Juvia's cheek. She blushed like crazy, but kept herself from her fangirling.

"Juvia will take you home, Gray-sama. Put your hands around Juvia's shoulders." She said and Gray did as he was told.

"Juvia..? Why are you *hic* acting so weird?" He said and Juvia looked at him, they were already walking to Gray's house.

"Juvia doesn't want to act like her usual self when Gray-sama needs help." She said as they were pretty close to his house.

"Thanks Juvia, *hic* come with me." Gray took Juvias hand and walked into his house. He took her to his bedroom and pulled her in bed with him. Juvia squeaked in surprise, but she couldn't get out of Gray's hug. Not like she wanted to.

~The guild~

"Luuuucceee~" Natsu yelled in happy voice. He could barely walk so as he tried to go to Lucy he triped. Luck was on his side today, Lucy was just in time to catch him by shoulders and prevent his head from hitting the floor, so instead his head landed on Lucy's soft chest.

"Thanks Luce, you're the *hic* best! And this is really soft!" He hugged her and she grew more annoyed. But still, her heart started to beat faster.

'Stupid heart, he doesn't love you! He's just drunk!' Lucy screamed at herself in her head. She was in love with Natsu, but she convinced herself that he doesn't love her back. She kept holding her emotions in. She was scared of rejection.

"Luce? You *hic* okay?" Asked Natsu, looking up at her. Actually, he didn't wanna move from his soft pillow, but he felt Lucy's one wince.

"Huh? Yeah, I'm fine. Let's take you home." She said and put his arm around her shoulders. Natsu was still hyped, but that one wince changed his whole mood.

"You can talk to me Y'know." Natsu said while they were on their way to Lucy's house. She just looked at him and gave him 'are-you-serious' look.

"What?! Why *hic* not talk to *hic* me?" He barked.

"Are you really asking me that? You're drunk! What's the point telling you I love you when you won't remember any of it in the morning!" She yelled.

"Y-You what?" Lucy's eyes widened in realization.

"Nothing! Just forget it... like everything else..." She wispered as they came inside the house and Natsu passed out on the bed, making Lucy sleep on the couch.

She tried not to cry, she really did. But the tears were too heavy for her eyes to handle.

Damn it. He forgot. Of course he did. Why did I even expect him to remember? It's just a picnic, why does it hurt so much..? Well, i know why, but still! I want it to stop.

I was thinking that maybe I could confess to him today but, he never came to pick me up.

One week ago Natsu asked Lucy to go on a picnic with him, just the two of them. She saw it as an opportunity to spend a day with him, to confess to him, to let it all off her chest... but he forgot..

I guess, I'm nothing important... I mean, if he cared about me... wouldn't he remember? This is a proof that he doesn't see me in a romantical way what so ever. He choose a drinking competition with Gray before me. Of course, I don't expect me to be his first choice, but if you promised something and made me all excited...

You know what. I don't care! He's an ass and I don't even want anything to do with him.

~Next day~

"Oww my head.." Said Natsu as he woke up and looked around.

Where's Luce? Wait... I smell her.. Natsu thought and walked to the couch.

"Did I make her sleep on the couch?" He took a closer look and noticed something.

"Tear... stains? Oh, Luce... what happened..?" He said with an apolgetic look as he gently rubbed her cheek.

"Mhm.. Natsu? What do you want.. Leave me alone." Lucy said and turned on the other side. Natsu looked at her dumfounded.

"Luce, wake up."

"What?!" She roared at Natsu.

"Why did you cry last night? What happened! Who did it?!"

"No one."

"Lucy! Talk to me! Now, who did it?!"

"You did it, can you shut up now?!"

Both Natsu and Lucy stayed in silence. Natsu in shock and Lucy looking away. The whole room was filled with akward silence, you could hear a fly flying in the air.

"W-What? H-How?" Natsu asked. At this point Natsu and Lucy sat next to each other on the couch.

"It's not important to you.." She said, still avoiding eye contact.

"Well, everything that is important to you is important to me, too!" He said and took her small and soft hand in his big and rough one.

"W-What are you doing?" Lucy said, her face as red as tomato.

"I like to hold your hand. Please talk to me... Tell me what I did so I can make it right." He begged as Lucy finally gathered some courage to look into his eyes. The eyes of a dragon. At the times, they had the most dangerous look, but right now, they were gentle and shiny.

"It's just that you forgot about our picnic.." She said as Natsu cupped her cheeks into his hands.

"I didn't forget it, I was just... nervous."

"Nervous? Why would you be?" She asked, her palms on his big muscular arms.

"Because, I wante to confess to you. But, I chickened out and accepted Gray's challenge. I'm sorry, Luce.."

"You wanted to confess what?" She said and Natsu removed his hands. Confused look on Lucy's face.

"And people say I'm dense..." Natsu sighed and Lucy pouted.

"I love you with all my heart, even if you're a complete weirdo.." He said as he put his palms on the back of Lucy's neck and leaned in, Lucy did the same.

Their lips met and they fitted like a missing puzzle pieces. At that moment, the time stopped. There were no worries in the world. Just the two of them. 

They parted, both gasping for air. Lucy leaned in and kissed Natsu's forehead.

"I love you, too. You dummy..."

I'm not really proud of this oneshot, I lost one part of it and I couldn't write it properly so I had to improvise.
