"Damn it, Natsu! Stop barging into my house, what the hell's wrong with you, it's 2 in the morning as well, why are you even awake?!" Blonde yelled at the pink haired boy who sneaked into her house once again.

Natsu ignored his blonde best friend and fell from her window on her soft bed, he took a deep breath in and inhaled her scent that overwhelmed him. He absolutely loved it. Always, whenever they were somewhere, he noticed how special and calming her scent was.

Within seconds, he was asleep. It was already late when he came in, Lucy was just preparing herself for bed as well. The reason Lucy was going to sleep so late was because of the fact that she wanted to finish another chapter of her novel.

"Honestly, you never come so late, I wonder if something happened.." She whispered and removed the bangs from his eyes, as she did so she noticed his forehead was sweating. Lucy put her palm on it and quickly removed it, he was literally burning up.

"Oh no.." she gasped and ran into her kitchen, grabbing a rag and soaking it into water. Lucy came back to Natsu and pushed him onto his back, putting the cold rag on his forehead.

Lucy let him sleep for the rest of the night in her bed, after she calmed down his fever. She walked over to her bed and laid down, she was already used to sleeping in the same bed as him so it didn't bother her much.

Natsu opened his eyes, but as soon as he did, he closed them back because of the sunlight. He groaned and looked over at the empty spot beside him. Natsu felt pain all over his body as he noticed a note on the nightstand.

Dear Natsu,

I went to the supermarket to get some ingredients for your fever. I'll be back soon..

With love, Lucy.

He read the note and a smile made its way on his face. He thought about how kind she was and he was so grateful for having her by his side.

"I'm back!" Lucy announced from the door as she closed them with her leg. She held two full bags and went into the kitchen. She unpacked all stuff and put them in their place. When she finished, she went to her bedroom to see if Natsu woke up.

As she opened the door, she noticed him sleeping peacefully. Lucy walked over to him and felt his forehead. He didn't seem to be burning, but he was still warm. Lucy walked back to the kitchen and grabbed a potion Wendy gave her. She came back to Natsu and slowly woke him up.

"Hey, Natsu... Natsu, wake up.." She shook his shoulders as he slightly groaned, his eyes opened and he saw Lucy.

"Morning Luce..." he said with rusty voice.

"Morning, here.." she said and handed him the potion. He didn't even ask what it was, he trusted her enough to just drink it all in one sip.

"Thanks.." he said and gave her his signature grin. She smiled at him and began walking away, but he was quick to grab her wrist, she gasped in surprise and turned back to him.

"Y-Yes?" She asked as her cheeks warmed up from his touch.

"Do you have to go?" He asked and let go of her wrist since he didn't have much energy. His hand dropped back in the bed as he maintained to stay awake.

"I promise I'll be here with you when I finish making you lunch, okay?" She said softly.

"O..kay" he said as voice and mind drifted off into dreamland. Lucy admired his cuteness and walked over to him, she removed his bangs and placed a soft kiss on his forehead, she blushed at her action and went back to the kitchen.

When she was outside, Natsu's turned onto his back and clenched the spot where his heart was. His cheeks were bright red and his heart was beating out of his chest.

"Lunch is ready! Natsu come here, I made your favorite!" Lucy shouted and she could swear to Mavis, she had never seen him ran faster.

"Luce, this looks amazing!" He drooled and began stuffing his face with food, Lucy thought since he was sick that he would lose his appetite, but guess Natsu's never too sick to eat. She giggled at him as he gave her confused look.

"What?"

"Nothing, nothing.." she said and began eating herself.

~ after they finished eating ~

"That was the tastiest food I have ever had, thank you, Lucy." His grin was showing once again.

"It wasn't a problem at all.." she replied and blushed because of the compliment.

Natsu stood up from the table and grabbed Lucy's hand, going in the direction of her bedroom.

"W-What are you doing?" Her cheeks burned as Natsu gently pushed her on the bed and laid next to her. He wrapped his arms around her waist and pulled her as close as humanly possible.

"You promised to stay with me after lunch, don't think I forgot.." he mumbled softly and tightened his grip on her. Lucy turned around so she could face him. Her cheeks were matching the color of tomatoes, but so were his.

"You're red all over, that means your fever in increasing.. I really should-" she began getting up, but Natsu pulled her back into his chest.

"I'll be fine as long as you're with me.." he said it in the most casual way ever, which weirded Lucy out. Like, how? How can you say something so cheesy and cute without feeling embarrassed?

Lucy's face exploded and she quickly covered it with her hands, she had never felt more embarrassed in her life. Natsu noticed her reaction and began blushing as well.

"U-Um.." he stuttered and attempted to explain himself as he sat up. Suddenly, everything began spinning around and he lied back down. His head started pounding as he grabbed it in order to stop the pain.

"Natsu! What's happening? Are you okay?" Lucy yelled in panic as he rolled on the other side.

"Head.. hurts.." he managed to say, but with every word his headache became more unbearable. Lucy ran into the kitchen and soaked a rug under the water and came back, she put it on his forehead and grabbed his hand.

"Now you have to trust me.. Try to relax and only listen to my voice. Don't focus on the pain, just my voice." He squeezed her hand a bit tighter and continued listening, "Everything will be okay, the pain is slowly going away, just listen to my voice, do you trust me?" She asked and he nodded his head, his eyes were closed and he seemed to be in less pain. There was still struck of pain here and there, but he was relaxed.

"When you feel me kiss you, your pain will completely go away.. okay?" She leaned in and pressed her lips on his forehead. She snapped her fingers as his eyes opened.

"How do you feel?" She asked as he looked at her with confusion.

"I'm good now, how did you do that?"

"Just something my mom teached me when I was younger.." she winked and smiled at him. He felt adrenaline rush in his body and he badly wanted to kiss her. He felt butterflies in his stomach and looked away from Lucy.

"L-Luce, can I kiss you?" He asked as her cheeks warmed up. She became nervous and was caught off guard with his questions. It was true that she has been in love with him for a long time and she even imagined how it would be if they kissed, but she still felt nervous about it.

"Y-Yes.."

He didn't waste anymore time, he leaned in and closed the space between them. He aced his hands on her hips as their lips collided perfectly and both of them felt completed in the moment. They moved their lips in sync, but after awhile their lungs were in the need of air.

Both of them gasped for air, and few moments after they made eye contact. They were a bit embarrassed, but none of them wanted to look away, they didn't want to stop looking at each other's dazed eyes.

Lucy moved closer to him and grabbed his collar with one hand, the other was placed on the back of his neck, pulling him into another kiss.

They broke awas as she held his cheek and their foreheads touched.

"I love you.."  he said and softly smiled.

"I love you too.."

This is part 30 of my book.. i honestly cannot believe this, this makes me so happy! When i first started i didn't even think it would be 10 parts long honestly 😊 it makes me so happy when someone leaves a comment on my stories, i know its kinda weird but it makes me so so happy and i'm motivated to write even more. I want to thank leelyssant for being a cute little friend! Thank you so much for encouraging me!

Also, i never knew i could do something as simple as writing and i'm so grateful if any of my one shots ever made you laugh, smile, or even tear up
