[Normal pov]
Lucy was getting home from a job, she finished a day earlier so she could go home.
"Natsu, I'm home!" Lucy said as she walked into their apartment. Lucy and Natsu live together cause it's easier than Natsu just barging in every night.
"L-Lucy?" Natsu said with shocked face.
"Is everything okay with you? You're acting strange.." Lucy said as she tried to look behind Natsu who was in his boksers.
"L-Lucy-chan, h-hey..!" The voice sounded familiar to Lucy, but she wanted to be sure. She looked at the direction of the voice and there stood Lisanna in her bra and panties. You could read the shock and sadness on Lucy's face.
"Luce, it's not how it looks like..!" Natsu said as Lucy looked at him.
"You d-don't need to explain yourself to m-me.. I'll be on my way." Lucy said as she was bitting her lower lip to stop tears who badly wanted to fall.
"Luce, wait!" Natsu said, but it was too late. His best friend was already gone.
"Natsu-kun? Are you okay?" Lisanna asked with her sweet voice.
"Get... out..." Natsu mumbled, his eyes covered by his bangs.
"What?"
"I said... GET THE FUCK OUT!!" Natsu yelled and it send chills down Lisanna's spine. She sprinted out the door in no time.
"What did I do..? Oh god.. Luce.." Natsu sobbed in his hands.

~With Lucy~

Lucy ran. She ran and didn't stop. She didn't know where she was going, but she knew that she needed to get as far away as possible. Her tears spilled, they ran down her face like a river. Her heart was broken and it could never be healed.
"You asshole!!" Lucy screamed as she stopped running right next to a river. She sat down and hugged her knees. Tears were falling, sadness was just unbearable.
"Why..? Why, Natsu..? Couldn't you see... how much I loved you?!" Her words filled with emotion and heartbreak. Her whole world was crumbled right before her eyes as she walked in that apartment half an hour ago.

~Later, 2:29 am~

Lucy walked in her apartment after she calmed down a little. She was still hurting, but if this made Natsu happy, she could get over it. She slowly walked to her closet and packed her things. She decided to leave, not for too long. Just as long as she needs to get over Natsu, but believe me that is not going to be easy. After she packed her things, Lucy went in Natsu's room to look at him for the last time, well last time for few years.
"I love you, Natsu. I'll be back when I'm over you.." Lucy said as she kissed him on the forehead.
"Goodbye.." She wispered.

~Morning, 6:54 am~

Natsu started to wake up, as he sat up he checked the time.
"Jeez, I never wake up this early.." He said as he got up.
"Luce! When's breakfast?" Natsu asked 'Lucy who wasn't there'.
"Luce? Where are you?" He ashed as he checked her room.
"Stop scaring me so early in the morning, Lucy! It's not funny!" He yelled as he looked around the whole house, but Lucy was nowhere to be found.
"Luc-" Natsu stopped himself as he saw some kind of a note on the table.
"I left. I'll be back in few years, maybe. I'm sorry, Natsu. I promise I'll explain everything when I'm back. -Lucy" Natsu read as his hand started to shake.
"W-What do you mean 'few years' Lucy?! Don't leave!" Natsu said as his eyes filled with tears, but he blinked them away.

"Lucy left!" Natsu screamed as he opened the big doors of the guild.
"WHAT?!" The whole guild screamed.
"Before you ask, I don't know why. She said that she'll explain when she gets back." Natsu said as sadness filled his voice.
"Come here, Natsu." Erza said as she sat at the table with Gray, Wendy and Happy.
"What do you mean 'she left'? Gray asked, Natsu slowly looked at him with a death glare.
"I said she left, so that fucking means that she is not here. Do you want me to spell it out for you?" Natsu said in voice that was so low, even Wendy had trouble hearing it.
"Calm down." Erza said.
"..."
"Why would she leave..?" Wendy asked herself.
"Tell us what happened last night." Gray said.
"I... don't remember. Last thing I remember was Lisanna telling me to drink some milkshake she made." Natsu said as everyones eyes widened.
"What?"
"Let's go talk to her, NOW!" Erza said as she figured out what was the deal with Lisanna.

"Lisanna!" Erza yelled as the white-haired mage cleaned some glasses in bar.
"Yes, Erza-san?" She asked sweetly.
"What was in that milkshake you gave Natsu yesterday?" Erza's voice was filled with rage.
"Nothing, chocolate." She said.
"Don't lie to me!"
"Fine. It was magic potion. It made Natsu temporary fall in love with me." Lisanna finished.
"You what!!?" Natsu yelled as he got closer to Lisanna.
"Relax, we didn't do anything. We just kissed few times, but Lucy came early from that job, so she ruined the fun. Y'know I was surprised you even could say her name and tried explain yourself." She said with little smile.
"We kissed? Lucy ruined the fun? Say her name? Why can't I remember any of that?!" Natsu raged at Lisanna.
"T-That's how potion works. Y-You can't remember anything the next day." Lisanna explained with shaky voice.
"You stupid bitch! I would never have anything with you, Lucy saw us and she left because of you! If it wasn't for you my Lucy would still be here!" Natsu screamed at Lisanna's face and she turned pale. He left without looking back.
"I-I'm sorry, I just wanted you to love me..!" She said with closed eyes.
"Erza, you take Lisanna to master's office and let him know about this, I'll go calm down Natsu." Gray said and Erza nooded.

"Yo, Natsu!" Gray yelled, running behind Natsu, but he just ignored him.
"Look, Lucy will come back. I'm sure of it and when she does I promise you will be the first one tu hug her. Okay?" Gray said.
"What if she forgets me..?" Natsu said and what caught Gray off guard were little droplets on the ground in front of Natsu.
"She won't pal. Believe in your friend." Gray said as he put his hant on Natsu's shoulder.
"What if she finds someone to love?" Natsu asked as more tears came.
"Natsu... I don't know. You will have to wait and see.. I'm sorry." Gray said as he looked at Natsu's back with sadness in his eyes.
"I'm going to cool off.." Natsu said as he got up and left.
"Okay.."
That was the day Natsu shed more tears than he did when his dad died.

~3 years later, with Lucy~

"I think it's time to return home. What do you think Fenix? Lucy asked the big fire bird. You see, Lucy was training for these 3 long years. She is now stronger than ever. With her Celestial spirit magic, she learned Requip and Water magic. So now, she can attack and defend. By the way, she went on a whole new level with Water magic, not only she can control water in the air, but she can also control water and blood in someones body. (Someone wached avatar)
Fenix nooded in return.
"Let's go!" Lucy said as she got on his back and together they flew to Fairy Tail.

~With Natsu~

"Come on Natsu, you have to pull yourself together." Happy said as he tried to move Natsu, but it was pointless.
"Leave me alone." Natsu said with deep voice, almost like a growl.
"Please, Natsu..! You don't even know if Lucy will come back! She could be happily married or even dead for all we know!" Happy yelled, but he regreted it right after. Natsu's eyes were wide open.
"N-Natsu, I-I didn't mean-"
"FUCKING LEAVE HAPPY!!" Natsu screamed as he kept all his strength from punching or killing Happy. What Happy didn't know was that Natsu's tears started to flow.
"I'm sorry.." Happy said as he heard the guild's doors open. It revealed beutiful and well known blonde.

"Lushy..?" Happy said as his eyes filled with tears. As soon as Natsu heard well known name he's head rised up in second.
"Lucy..?" He said as tear slipped from his right eye.
"That's me." She said with a smile and the whole guild came to hug her. Gray didn't let anyone touch her and that left her in confusion.
"I promised Natsu that he will be the first one to hug you when you come back." Gray said as he smiled at Lucy and pointed at Natsu who couldn't move from shock. Lucy walked to him and looked at his eyes, she remembered how much he missed them.
"Tadaima.. (I'm home)" Lucy said while tears of joy slipped down.
"Okaeri...(Welcome home) Lucy." Natsu said as he slowly pulled Lucy closer to him, wrapping his arms around her. His embrace was warm, and his big, strong arms seemed very protective when wrapped around her body.
"I missed you!" Natsu cried out.
"I missed you too!" Lucy said as she pulled away. She wasn't prepared to what happened next. Natsu pressed his lips onto hers. The kiss which united two souls. There were no words to describe how it felt, but Lucy quickly pushed Natsu away.
"W-What are you doing?" She asked as she touched her lips, her smile faded and tears of sadness replaced the ones of joy.
"I-I.. Luce.. I just-" Natsu didn't finish, Lucy already ran out of the guild.
"Luce, please wait!" Natsu began to go after her, but Erza stopped him.
"I'll go talk to her." She said and went outside as Natsu dropped to his knees.

"Lucy! Wait up!" Erza yelled.
"What is it, Erza?" Lucy said as she sat down on a bench.
"Why did you ran away?" Erza said while looking at Lucy, but she was staring at the ground.
"Do you know why I left?" Lucy asked, still not making eye contact.
"Kind of. Because you saw Natsu and Lisanna in your apartment, you need to know something about that-" Lucy cut Erza off.
"Later. I left because I wanted to forget Natsu, I left because I didn't want to love him. I wanted him to be happy, so if Lisanna made him happy I would be happy for him... I trained this 3 years, I learned 2 new magic and I thought that I will be able to get over him, but that kiss... it returned all of my feelings from back then. My heart started to race, I felt butterflys in my stomach, I never wanted to stop kissing him and now I'm so mad at myself because all these years were for nothing!" Lucy said while crying, so Erza layed Lucys head on her armor.
"I'll tell you what happened the morning you left. ~explaining~" Erza said and Lucy's eyes widened.
"Y-You're kidding.. That was a potion? He didn't do it on purpose? He cried because I left? I-It's all my fault." Lucy tried to understand it as she cried even more.
"You can't balme yourself, Lucy. You didn't know." Erza said while patting Lucy's hair.
"Where is Lisanna?"
"She was expelled from the Fairy Tail." Erza answered.
"I-I have to go back, I have to apologize to Natsu." Lucy said as she stood up and walked back.

"Natsu, it's going to be okay." Happy said as he patted Natsu's back.
"Thanks Happy, I'm sorry I yelled at you earlier." Natsu said as his head was in his hands.
"It's okay, I shouldn't push you so hard."
"Natsu!" Lucy's voice echoed around the guild, but Natsu's head didn't move this time. It only went deeper in his hands.
"He's here Lushy!" Happy yelled as her eyes landed on the two.
"Thanks Happy. Natsu please, I need to talk to you." Lucy said, but Natsu didn't move.
"Natsu... please.." Lucy begged as she gently grabbed his wrists to move them from his eyes.
"Luce, don't.." Natsu said as he looked at her eyes.
"We need to talk. Outside." She said and Natsu nooded after few moments.

~Outside~

"Natsu, can you please look at me?" Lucy said as he's head was turned to side.
"Alright then.." Lucy said as she walked to him and grabbed his cheeks and pressed her lips onto his. At first he was shocked, but he couldn't help melting in the kiss. Her lips were just too soft for him to resist. After few minutes they separated, they need to breathe after all.
"What was that for?" Natsu asked with tiny bluch in his face.
"I wanted to explain myself, from 3 years ago and now." Lucy started and Natsu listened.
"The night when I got from the job request early, when I saw you in boksers and Lisanna in her bra and panties I felt incredible amount of sadness because I thought that you two were dating. I'm sorry I left, but I wanted to forget you, I wanted to stop loving you, so you could be happy with her. But, I didn't left for nothing. I learned Requip and Water magic, I even found the fire key of fenix. But all of that was worthless because you weren't there to experience it with me. Of course I love fenix, don't take that the wrong way. Just now I left because it hurt to see that I left for bad reason and I want to apologize for it. I'm so sorry." Lucy finished as Natsu looked at her in disbelief.
"That's a lot to take in, Y'know." Natsu said as he took her hand in his.
"But I have to tell you 2 things before I kiss you again." He said as Lucy blushed.
"First thing is that you have to show me both of your new magics in a fight.
And the second thing is that.. I love you too." Natsu said as he pressed his lips on Lucys once again.

~Tomorrow~

"You ready?" Lucy asked as Natsu looked at her in fighting position.
"I was born ready. Bring it." He said as they started their match.
"You can go first." Lucy said as she stood in her position.
"As you wish, dear. Can I go all out?" Natsu asked with a smirk.
"It won't be fun if you don't." She returned the smirk.
"Fire dragon... ROAR!!" Natsu yelled as the fire was heading Lucy's way. In seconds fire totaly surounded Lucy that even Nastu started to panic.
"You okay, Luce?!" He yelled as the smoke cleared to reveal Lucy in water barier.
"How did you do that? There's no water around.." Natsu asked as Lucy gave him a smirk.
"I can drain water from the air." Natsu was left shocked and impressed.
"But that's not all.." Lucy said as she started to glow.
"Requip!" She yelled as she transformed in armor with a sword.
"Star sword!" She yelled as she went in Natsu's direction, he dodged in last second.
"You're slow, baby." Lucy said in playful way.
"Heh.. Fire dragon IRON FIST!" Natsu yelled as he tried to punch Lucy, but she dodged every punch with ease.
"Why are you going easy on me?" She asked between the punces.
"I'm not."
*sigh*
"Crimson Lotus: Exploding Flame Blade!!" Natsu yelled as the flames got in Lucy's direction and it made full hit.
"Luce!!" Natsu yelled in worry.
"I'm fine, Natsu! But you made me angry, so I'm gonna finish it!" Lucy yelled and it actually made Natsu flinch. Her eyes glowed like a beast, but Natsu fell in love with this side of Lucy.
Lucy's hands moved in his direction as all od a sudden he couldn't move.
"What is this?" Natsu asked as he stood in the same place.
"I call it Bloodbending!" Lucy said as she moved her hands and Natsu's body followed. The whole guild gasped, they were actually scared of their sweet nakama.
"Oww.." Natsu winced.
"Want me to stop? You give up?" Lucy saked with a smile.
"Like hell! I'm fired up now! Fire Body!!" Natsu's body flamed itself so it made his blood boil and Lucy stopped bloodbending.
"You're not that bad!" Lucy yelled and winked. It started raining, so that made Lucy smile sadisticly.
"Hyaa!" She screamed as she circled wih her heands and made water into ice and it surounded Natsu in ice shards.
"Not even your fire can save you now..!" She yelled as Natsu had horrified look on his face.
"I win?" She asked as shards came closer to Natsu's throat and body.
"Y-You win!" He said as Lucy's smile grew and all ice turned back into the water and completelly soaked Natsu.
"Wohoo!" Lucy yelled.
"Lucy, that was incredible! That requip left me speechless." Erza said as she looked at Lucy. She knew that Lucy was now the strongest girl in the guild.
"Love Rival! You have to teach Juvia to use her Water Magic like that!" Juvia said with amazement in her eyes.
"Sure Juvia!" Lucy said as she turned around to see Natsu looking at her with a smile.
"That was the best and most epic fight in my life Luce!" Natsu said as he shook her hand.
"I couldn't agree more!" Lucy said as Natsu kissed her.
"That's reward for the win." He said and smirked.
"Then I'll have to win more often." She said and returned the smirk.
"I love you!" They both said at the same time and everyone started to laugh.
