Once upon a time, there was a beautiful land called Fiore. It was the place where all angels lived. Everyone loved each other and everyone respected each other. The main and only goddess was called Lucy Heartfilia. She ruled all of the Fiore and every angel adored her.

"Goddess Lucy! Goddess Lucy!" Yelled a beautiful fiery red haired angel in long white dress. Her name was Erza.

"Yes, Erza?" Lucy questioned her life long and loyal friend as her golden blonde hair fell from her shoulder.

"We have a problem, demons attacked another one if our realms, our messenger Levy informed us how satan Zeref said he will not stop attacking our realms until he meets you in person," Erza breathed while she let her wings rest up on the floor.

"Where to?" Lucy quickly asked.

"W-What?" Titania picked her chin up at her sudden question.

"Where and when does he want us to meet?"

"No Lucy, that would be absurd. Who knows what he has in mind, he could take you away for all we know. We need a plan before you go anywhere." The red haired angel argued as it began annoying Lucy.

"I don't care, tell me what I wish to know now!"

"Lucy.. I can't-"

"Then I'll find out by myself,"

"I'll be back," Lucy's long and angelic wings spread in a blink of an eye as she disappeared.

Erza was left alone in Lucy's chambers with shocked face. She knew Lucy was reckless, but she didn't think she was this reckless.

The goddess clan, however, did have an enemy. There was a land called Vein of Fire. As you probably figured on your own by now, demons lived there, they loved causing problems to angels. The so called satan was Zeref Dragneel. He had a younger brother that always stood close to him. He ruled his land fairly. Just like angels admired goddess Lucy, every demon admired their dear satan.

"There is no other place where we would be able to meet, this has to be the place.." the blonde goddess commented as she arrived at the border of the two lands.

It was one big terrace, half of it was white and other half was black with orange lines. It presented both clans, but separated.

"You are right," goddess quickly jolted around to see none other then Zeref, her written enemy.

"You. Why are you destroying our realms?"

"Because... I just had to meet you, and that was the only thing I could think of." He sinisterly said as his fingers traveled down blondes chin which didn't affect her at all.

"You didn't have the right to do that! If you wanted to meet me then why not just send a message through your messenger or something?" Lucy yelled angrily.

"Can we stop with formalities already..? I know you and you know me, or else you forgot about my little brother?" Zeref dropped his hands next to his body.

"I would never forget about him!" She defended.

"Then.. why are you acting like this, Lucy..?"

"Shut up!!" White goddess shouted, spread her wings and began flying back to her castle.

"Do not attack us again, if you do.. I will not hesitate to declare a war between us." She exclaimed and flied away.

Zeref looked at the ground and smiled as his black wings spread and he flied back to the Vein of Fire.

"Damn him.." Lucy whispered as warm tears stained her face. She missed that stupid idiot so much, the second he mentioned him it took all of her strength not to burst into tears.. but since her father forbid her from ever seeing him again before his death, she had no choice but to listen.

- flashback -

Lucy's pov

"Oi! Luce!" I turned around at sudden shout of my name, there stood the person I adored and loved. 

"Natsu! You came!" I yelled as I flew into his arms. "I missed you, where were you?" I questioned.

"Sorry, my brother kept me on his close watch so I couldn't sneak out. He's in another place now so this was the perfect chance for me to see you," Natsu explained as he wrapped his arms around my waist and I felt my cheeks warm up. He surrounded us with his black wings and I felt like nothing in this world could harm me.

"God damnit this rules are killing me. I hate the fact we have to be so different, why couldn't I have been born as an angel..?" we still held onto each other as he spoke.

"No.. I can't imagine you as anything but my sweet demon.. I would never want you as anything else.. I love you as you are, Natsu.. don't wish to change for anyone beside yourself," I spoke in light tone, I tried sounding like I sang a lullaby.

Natsu buried his face at the crock of my neck and hugged me closer. When I was with him it was the purest feeling I ever felt.

"Luce.. I love you so much, I don't want us to separate.. ever, I cannot imagine my life without you" we parted and stared deeply into each others eyes. His eyes sparkled and I could see they were filled with love.

White goddess landed in the forest underneath her. She felt heavy feeling in her chest that seemed like it weighed million pounds. She had to breath for a second after remembering such memory. It was a beautiful memory, no question about it, but just like it was beautiful, it was twice as painful.

"You're back! Where were you?" A demon with  pink hair asked Zeref as he flew in his castle.

"I was taking a walk," he lied.

"You saw her, didn't you?"

"How did you-" Zeref stopped himself when he realized that he couldn't lie to Natsu. He knew him all his life, he knew Natsu could read him like a book.

"What did you do..?" The demon prince growled.

"Nothing.."

As much as I want to see you Natsu, I have to obey my fathers last wish. I hope you can understand..

This is hard for me too,

I still didn't stop loving you..

Lucy thought to herself as the night sky fell down. She laid on the bed while her eyes traveled through the stunning sight before her.

For hells sake, I want to see you!

I said it once and I'll say it again, I can't live my life without you in it.

My dear Luce..

Natsu clenched onto his pillow. All his mind could think of was his one and only goddess. The one he admired from the day he met her.

- flashback -

Natsu's pov

I was walking through forest that was on the border of two lands. At the time I was 16 and as every teenager, I loved to explore. A while ago, I found a place near the waterfall, since then I loved yo go there every time I felt bad about something, or even if I only wanted some place for thinking.

I figured that would be the perfect place for today and it didn't took me long before I arrived at my destination.

As I saw the indescribable sight in front of me, I noticed someone who was sitting near the lake. She dipped her legs into it, my eyes widened at the sight, I never saw anything like her before. She was so beautiful.

She was wearing white dress that hugged her curves consummately, she had golden blonde hair that shined on the sunlight. Her white gladiator sandals were placed on the ground next to her, but the thing that was the most stunning to me was definitely her white, long and angelic wings. She was so similar to me, and yet, so different.

Unfortunately, I didn't pay attention to what I was doing so I stepped ahead and broke some branches, startling the pure thing.

"Who's there?!" She shouted and jumped into defense position. I immediately walked out of my hiding spot.

"Y-Yo!" I raised his palm in the air as a greeting gesture. The girl relaxed for a second and dropped her guard down.

I stared at her with awe for few moments. Blush crept on her face, but she quickly turned to the side because, I assume, was because of her embarrassment.

"Who are you..? And why do you look so weird?" She asked in confused tone.

"I'm Natsu, and a demon from Vein of Fire.. and you?" I answered while studying her wings.

"Lucy, angel from Fiore.."

It was weird, but I felt some kind of affection towards her, it was truly a special feeling.
