It was now the next day, and school just started. All the students gathered in there classrooms. All the students listened to the morning lectures then went on with the school day.
In Mira Sensei's classroom

Lucy's P.O.V
I listened to Mira Sensei's boring lecture then I moved my desk into line with Natsu's so we could work on the project. "The faster we get this done then the faster I can get out of here and away from this player"
"So, what do you want to work on, first?", he asked, and I rolled my eyes.
"The quickest problems", I said, and he sighed. We started to work on the easiest problems, not looking at each other. Then he asked me something.
"Hey can I have your number?" He had the slightest dust of pink on his face.
"He wants my number...me but he's so cute and I'm so- wait what am I thinking HES A PLAYER!"
"Um yeah sure"I said, and gave him my contact info.
After that we started to work on the project but this time I looked up at him while he wasn't looking. He was working so peacefully with a concentrated look on his face. I started noticing the small things like how ever time he finishes a problem he smirks, and his big dark eyes light up. Then he looked up at me, but I was so lost in looking at him I didn't notice. Then our eyes locked and I finally noticed I was staring at him for a really long time. My cheeks heated up from embarrassment. He noticed and his eyes grew bigger and he shot me a cute smile causing my cheeks to heat up even more. I was so flustered I didn't ever notice him scooting closer to me until he whispered "You know your really adorable when you blush...you may think I'm a player but I'm not just wait until you get to know me..." he said then shot me a wink.

*SCHOOL BELL RINGS*
"Saved by the bell"
"Uh bye! See you tonight!" With that I ran out of the classroom my face as red as a tomato.

Natsu's P.O.V
School started off with a boring lecture.
"Man I hate school" I thought
Before I saw her walk in.
"She's so beautiful...school will never be boring as long as I get to see her." I thought admiring the beautiful girl in front of me.
After the lecture to my surprise she quickly moved her desk over to mine. I was a little flustered at the gesture because I didn't think she would come see me. "So, what do you want to work on, first?", I asked
"The quickest problems", she said and I signed.
So we started working on the easy problems.
But then I realized something "I don't have her number..."
"Hey can I have your number?" I asked feeling my cheeks slightly heat up.
"Um yeah sure" she said then gave me her contact info. After she gave me her contact info we got back to work...well I did. I was working for a couple of minutes when I felt like someone was staring at me. I looked up slightly to see to big beautiful chocolate colored eyes looking at me. I slowly lifted my head to look at her but she was still staring. I found myself getting lost when I noticed she had a slight pink tint on her cheeks so I shot her the best smile I could give her. Which to my favor made her blush even more. "God she's so damn cute!" I thought until I got an idea. I started scooting closer and closer. Then in the most suductive voice I had I whispered to her, "You know your really adorable when you blush...you may think I'm a player but I'm not just wait until you get to know me..." then I winked at her.
*SCHOOL BELL RINGS*
Then she yelled "Uh bye! See you tonight!" and ran out of the classroom.
"Damnit curse that stupid school bell...at least I get to see her tonight"

Time skip to after school

Lucy's P.O.V
Finally I'm out of that torture zone Aka school. I was a blushing mess all day because Natsu kept acting all sexy and stuff, but I'm finally away from him. I was home. I went up to my room and jump onto my bed. Then I got a text.

Hey you ready to get to work?! I can't wait to see you beautiful...btw this is Natsu ;)

"Beautiful?! He thinks I'm beautiful! No no no it's just a play boy move don't fall for it lu."

Yea I'm ready to get to work and I can't wait to see you too!

Well I was away from him for about 10 seconds. Time to go I guess. I got my supplies for the project and left.

Natsu's P.O.V
School was finally over. I got to spend the whole day and Lucy, best day ever. "But now schools over now I can't see her" I thought until I realized something. We still needed to work on the project and she's supposed to come over to my house! I pulled out my phone and texted her.

Hey you ready to get to work?! I can't wait to see you beautiful...btw this is Natsu ;)

I just had to call her what she was. She probably thinks that I'm trying to use a "player" move on her. I wish I could see her reaction. As I started to imagine how she was reacting to the text when my phone went off.

Yea I'm ready to get to work and I can't wait to see you too!

"I can't wait!"

Time skip to a little while later

Channel 5 news breaking news! An upcoming storm has gotten bigger and surprisingly started moving up north into magnolia town! We advise everyone to stay inside at all costs!

"Oh no Lucy! She's out there somewhere!"
As much as I wanted to see Lucy her safety meant more to me than anything. So I called her to tell her to stay home.

Lucy's P.O.V
I was on the rode on my way to Natsu's when all of the sudden my radio started acting all weird. It was playing my favorite song ,Believer, until it changed to an alert, but I couldn't understand it at all.
Incomi---al-rt to all dri--rs there has been a det--ted s---m we advise all d-----s to go h--e immediately!

"What the hell is wrong with this thing! It's so staticky! Ugh whatever..."

I continued my way to Natsu's when I got a call.

"PAIN! YOU MAKE ME A YOU MAKE ME A BELIEVER...BELIEVER!"
*Picks Up Phone*

"Hello"

"Hey lu! Listen I just saw the news it says there is a huge storm heading our way I need you to stay home! Please..."

"Well I'm sorry but I'm already really close to your house and I care about my grades!"

"Ok Lucy just please be safe..."

"I'll try see you s---"

Dammit the line cut out better get there soon the storms already picking up.

Natsu's P.O.V
Shortly after the call cut out I heard a knock on the door.

"Natsu someone's at the door!" Wendy yelled.
"I got it don't worry just keep the cats calm so they don't get scared butt the storm" I yelled back.
I opened the door to see pouring rain and strong winds. It was like a hurricane. And in the middle of all of it was Lucy shaking from the cold.
"Lucy get in here!" I said while pulling her in the house.
"T-thank you" she said still shaking.
I got her a blanket and some hot chocolate to warm her up.
"What were you thinking going out in a storm like that! Do you know how dangerous that is!" I said slightly raising my voice.
"I know I know but why do you care!" She said raising her voice.
"Because for your information I care about you!" I yelled as my cheeks heated up.
"Y-you actually care...but what about all those girls?" She asked still shocked.
"Yes because I'm not what you think...Lucy I'm not a player... those girls only like me for my looks they don't want to get to know me...I only have my eyes on one girl." I said locking eyes with her.
She started blushing a ton. It was so cute so I started to move my face closer to hers. She started leaning in to. We were inches apart...
"Natsu who is this! *gasp Is she your girlfriend?!" Wendy said popping out of nowhere.
"N-no!" We both said blushing.
"Oh...then who is she?" Wendy asked.
"Wendy this is my friend Lucy...Were working on a project together."I explained.
"Wait Lucy?! OH MY GOSH YOUR THAT GIRL HES ALWAYS TALKING ABOUT 'she's so beautiful, she'll never like me, I love the way her eyes sparkled, and-"Wendy started
"THATS ENOUGH WENDY HAHAH" I said nervously
"Fine! Nice to meet you Lucy, and Natsu's right your really pretty. *whispers to Natsu She's a keeper treat her right." Wendy said and Natsu blushed and nodded in silence.
"Nice to meet you too Wendy!" Lucy said with a face that looked like a tomato.
Then Wendy left. We were both embarrassed.
"Well let's get started on the project shall we?" I asked nervously.
"Y-yeah sure" she replied.

Time skip to later in the day

Lucy's P.O.V
After the almost kiss thing Natsu and I were both super embarrassed and flustered so we just worked on the project in silence and not looking at each other. We worked until we actually finished the project, but the storm didn't let up at all it actually got worse.
"The storm isn't letting up...Lucy do you want to s-stay here for the night?" Natsu asked with red cheeks.
"I don't have a choice...so yes."I said as my cheeks heated up.
He didn't say anything but he grabbed my hand causing my cheeks to become even more red. He guided me upstairs to his room. "You can take the bed and ill take the floor" he explained.
"No no no Natsu you shouldn't do that!"I argued.
"But I want to...anything for my princess."he said bowing.
I blushed at the gesture.
"O-ok thank you...Natsu can I borrow some clothes." I said embarrassed.
"Of course!" He said cheerfully going to the dresser and handing me some clothes.
"Thank you...Natsu can you turn around I-i need to change" I said with a quiet voice.
He blushed the turned around then I got changed.
"Can I turn around now?"he asked
"Yes." I said in response.
When he turned around and saw me his eyes lit up and his cheeks turned red.
"You look gorgeous."he said not taking his eyes off me.
"Thank you...we should probably head to bed"I suggested.
"Yeah of course...goodnight princess."Natsu said laying down on the floor.
"Goodnight Natsu"I said with a smile as I laid down on the bed.
I slowly started to fall into a deep sleep.
Then...
*THUNDER AND LIGHTNING STRIKE*
I instantly got up.
"Ahhhh!" I screamed in fear tears rolling down my cheeks.
"Lucy!" Natsu yelled shooting up from where he was.
He went over to the lamp and tried to turn it on, but it didn't. "Shit the electricity is out...Lucy ill be right there"Natsu then gave up on the lamp and ran over to me. I was shaking in fear and I was still crying.
"Oh Lucy...are you scared?" He asked while pulling me into a warm embrace.
I only nodded my head in response.
"It'll be ok I promise" he reassured me.
Natsu then got in bed with me and continued to hold me until I calmed down. Every time lightning struck I buried my face into Natsu's strong chest. He knew I was still scared and he would reassure me every time I was ok. I finally stopped shacking and crying. Natsu did something that surprised me.
"That's my Lucy" he said and kissed my cheek, "now go to sleep princess...it'll be ok I'm right here I'll protect you."
With that I feel asleep in his arms.

Ahhhhhhhhh guys I'm fangirling at my own story. I hope you guys like this chapter as much as I did. I made it really long for you guys (it's 2175 words) that's how much I love you all.
