Lucy's P.O.V
"What's with me and bumping into people" I thought.
I had dropped all my books when I bumped into someone I didn't even look up to see who I hit. I didn't want to I probably looked like a mess from all the crying and I wasn't in the mood. But surprisingly I wasn't the one who said the the person I hit said it as he bent down to help me pick up my books. At one point we had reached for the same book and our hands touched. The person was about to apologize again until they stopped mid sentence.
"No no no I should be the one apologizing..." I said lifting my head until I slowly trailed off.
I found me staring at the cutest or hottest person ever. Our eyes locked...we just stayed there for a couple minutes just staring into each other's eyes. In those moments I felt something nothing I have ever felt before in my life...I wonder if he felt it too? After looking at his face for a while I realized who he was... his name was Natsu Dragneel. I've seen him around school before but I was never attracted to him before...I mean I always thought he was cute and stuff but something is missing...
"NATSUUUUUU~", a huge crowd of girls yelled.
"That's it..." I said as my voice trailed off.
"Huh? What did you say?" Natsu asked.
"Nothing... Thanks for the help." I said coldly while I yanked the book out of his hand, and staring walking away.
"I totally forget...he's a player" I said angrily in my thoughts.

Natsu's P.O.V
I found myself staring at the most beautiful person, and then she spoke with a voice that was as pretty as a angel.
"No no no I should be the one apologizing..." she said slowly looking up until we were face to face. She wasn't as beautiful as an angel she was an angel! I found myself getting lost in her big chocolate eyes. We both stayed there in silence for a while just looking into each other's eyes. I've never seen her around school before.
"What is her name? I need to know." I thought. I was about to ask her just that when a huge crowd of girls yelled "NATSUUUU~".
"Uh oh this isn't good." I thought. As I turned around to face the angel I saw that the expression on her face was no longer happy but angry. "That's it..." She said as her voice started to trail off.
"Huh? What did you say?" I asked.
"Nothing...thanks for the help" she replied coldly. And with that she yanked the book that we were both holding out of my hand then got up and quickly walked away. "What was that about?" I thought to myself.
"NATSU~ there you are! Are you done helping you friend in the bathroom?" Lisanna asked for all the fan girls.
"Oh no I forgot about them"
"Well you see...umm about that hehe I-" I started to explain but then got cut off.
*SCHOOL BELL RINGS*
"Thank God...I was literally saved by the bell"

Time skip to where there in class

Lucy's P.O.V
After my encounter with Natsu, I walked to my English class. I opened the door, and found a seat right in the front, with a window beside me. I then heard a bunch of girls say goodbye to someone at the door. Natsu entered, and I immediately turned to face the opposite direction of the player. I then heard the chair behind me pull out. I turned to see Natsu sitting right behind me. He smirked, and I scoffed and turned back around. After that the classroom was flooded with students, and shortly after our teacher came in.
"Hello class my name is Mira~Sensei I will be your English teacher for the rest of the year...now that all the introductions are down time to get to work, and what will we be doing...PROJECTS!!!" Our teacher announced excitedly.
"Awwww!!!" The whole class yelled replying to her announcement.
"Aww too bad now for this assignment there will be assigned partners.
Gray and Juvia,
Lisanna and Lucy,
Natsu and Bickslow,
Levy and Gajeel,
Erza and Jellal,
Elf man and evergreen,
Rouge and kagara,
Sting and Yukino!"
She told everyone their assigned partners.
"At least I'm not partnered up with Natsu."
Everyone shifted their desks around to meet up with their partners. But for me as soon as I got there we didn't start talking about the project no we started talking about...him.
"Soooo...I saw you with Natsu this morning. So let me give you advice...YOU BETTER BACK THE FUCK OFF YOU BITCH HE IS MINE!" She yelled at me. I just stared wide eyed at the girl.
"Why the hell are you yelling at me...I didn't do anything?!" I yelled back.
Mira~Sensei came over and yelled.
"HEY! NOT IN MY CLASSROOM......... okay obviously this isn't gonna work, time to repair you two!", she said, and pointed to Natsu and Bickslow.
"Ok, Lucy go with Natsu, and Lisanna go with Bickslow", she said, and I sighed. I walked over to wear Natsu was.

Natsu's P.O.V
"Lucy...Lucy was her name"
She walked towards me then she rolled her eyes and scoffed. "Did I do something?" I thought to myself.
Then she spoke "I'm sorry Mira~Sensei but why did you have to stick me with this player...why didn't you stick Lisanna with him it's obvious she obsessed with him!"
"PLAYER THATS WHAT YOU THINK OF ME! What did I do to get that title?!" I yelled in my defense.
"YEAH WHY DID YOU HAVE TO PUT NATSU AND LUCY TOGETHER! But Lucy I will gladly take your place." She smirked evilly.
"Natsu and Lucy...Natsu and Lucy...Natsu and Lucy...why does that sound so good together? Anyway ALL OF YOU SHUT UP! You will all work together weather you like it or not!" Mira yelled.
*SCHOOL BELL RINGS*
Well because it was the first day of school we only have one class then we go home.
"Hey! Just because schools over doesn't mean you don't have to work on the project it's due in 3 days...maybe you should get together with your partners after school and work on it...have a good day!" Mira~Sensei yelled to the whole class.
"Might as well go talk to her because she's my partner."
"Hey Lucy because we're partners we should work on the project after school...w-would you like to come to my house after school tomorrow"I asked as my cheeks started to heat up.
She had the slightest tint of pink dusted on her checks, but she still had a look of disgust on her face. "Yeah s-sure see you tomorrow...if your not surrounded by all your fan girls." She replied.
"Oh yea ok see you tomorrow...angel." I said under my breath as she walked away.
