My alarm clock wakes me up for the second time this morning. I shut it off and close my eyes, almost falling back asleep.

Just as I'm about to fall asleep, I hear a slight knock on my door. "Lu! It's 10:00 o'clock! Don't you have class at 12:00?" Yukino slightly shouts.

My eyes shoot open. "Oh sh*t!"

I squeal and fall off the bed, my legs ending up in the air.

"Lu! You ok?!" Yukino yells.

"Uh huh! I'm ok, no need to worry about me...hehe..." I sit up, rubbing the back of my sore head.

Can't believe today is the first day of class, I'm a little nervous...

"Ok, well I'll be downstairs!" She leaves, her footsteps slowly fading away.

Walking to my closet, I pick out an outfit the day. Cute jean shorts and a red t-shirt with a v-neck, with black flats that go well with the outfit.

Before changing, I head into the bathroom and take a quick shower. After drying myself, I brush my teeth and slip on the clothes, before heading back into my room.

I look into the mirror over my desk. Flipping my hair to the side, I dry it a little more with the hairdryer. After that, I braid it down my back and tie it neatly with a red ribbon to match my shirt

*Ding Ding Ding Ding!*

I sit on my bed and take out my phone. Looking at the new text message, I smile when I see it's Natsu.

Natsu=Bold

Lucy=Italics

Hey Luce! Just wanted to wish you good luck on your first day! I know you'll do great! I'm out training with the guys right now, but I'll call you later. Love you, babe.

Moved with his encouraging words, I smile and quickly text him back before heading downstairs.

Aww, babe, that's so sweet of you! I guess we'll see how it goes. Have fun with the guys! Looking forward to your call. Love you too 😘❤️❤️❤️

(A/N: Hope the texts are good! I'm really awkward when it comes to writing texts so I hope it's ok...😂😅).

I close my phone and rummage through my book bag, making sure I have all the school supplies for my classes today, before heading downstairs for breakfast.

-♾-

"Goodbye, see ya later!" Yukino waves once I open the door and head outside. Her first class starts at 2:00 PM. Lucky.

Once I reach the school, I exit the bus in front of the admissions office and head down the sidewalk to the building where my Mathematics 201 class is.

I reach the building and head inside, walking slowly through the hall and search for room 107.

I find it 15 minutes before class begins and enter before finding a seat. It's a lecture hall, which means there's lots of seats and I decide to sit close to the front.

Having some time, I take out the book I'm reading and flip my hair to the side before opening it up.

"Lucy!" I hear a familiar voice and look up to see Juvia waving at me.

"Morning!" I say cheerfully when she sits down besides me, suddenly remembering we talked about having the same class the other day. But it was out of my mind for a while. "I totally forgot we have the same class!"

She rolls her eyes. "Of course you did."

"What is that supposed to mean?" I huff just as the professor walks in. Soon the classroom begins filling up as well.

"When we talked about it at the cafe the day after the party on the boat, you seemed a bit dazed off." Juvia tells me. "Are you sure your ok?"

That was when I was still upset about running into Natsu.

"Yeah...I'm alright now." I admit, not sure if I should tell her about yesterday. Besides, I haven't even told Levy yet and I know she will freak when she finds out Natsu and I are together again.

"Ok..." Juvia says, a little unsure if I'm telling the truth. But she lets it go just as the professor begins talking.

"Good morning, class!" She says. "Welcome to Math 201 for none math majors! My name is Dr. White and I'll be your professor this semester. For the next few months we will be studying the basics of geometry!" Picking up a stack of papers, Dr. White passes them to one of the students in the front row. "Please take a copy of the syllabus which we will go over in class today."

She drones on and on about the rules in the classroom while the syllabus is passed around. When I receive mine, I look through the schedule to see when everything is due.

"Alright class! There's no homework for tonight but remember to look on your school accounts and the syllabus. Have a great day and see you on Wednesday!"

After class ends, Juvia turns to me. "Lucy, do you have another class now?"

I shake my head. "My next one is at 3:00 and it's my last one."

"Let's go get lunch then! Meredy is waiting!" She grabs my hand and drags me out the classroom. Shrugging in response, I let her lead me out.

"Wait, you two are really together?" Levy sounds a little hesitant. "Are you sure you want to do this? What if he hurts you again? Can you really trust him?"

"He's really changed, Levy." I tell her truthfully. "We talked and as I said, he told me why he left me and how he promised not to hurt me again. He was really miserable without me. And I know in my heart that I want to be with him."

"Ok, if that's how you feel, Lu-chan. Then I trust that what your doing is right." She replies in a low voice. "Just let me know if anything happens, ok? I don't want to see mr best friend in pain again." She says, worry evident in her voice.

"I promise I will, Lev." I sigh, wishing she could trust me with what I'm doing. Glancing at the time on my phone, I see it's 2:40 and rub the back of my head. "I have to go, my next class is in 20 minutes."

"Ok, I'll talk to you later! Bye, Lu-chan! Love ya!"

"Love you too, Lev!"

While walking to my English 305 class, I look at my schedule to make sure I'm heading in the right direction. Not looking at where I'm going, I end up bumping into someone.

"Oh, I'm so sorry!" I immediately apologize. I look up and meet the eyes of a guy with orange hair and glasses. He's a little taller than me, but doesn't seem to be as tall as Natsu.

"Don't worry about it." He steadies me when I almost trip. "The name's Loki. What's yours?" He reaches out a hand.

"Lucy." I extend my hand and shake his. "Sorry for bumping into you just now...I wasn't paying attention. Hehe..."

"All good." Loki smiles widely. "Let me guess...your heading to Professor Black's English 305 class?"

"How do you know?" I'm a little surprised.

"Your schedule." He laughs, pointing to it. "I saw when you tripped. I have the same class, so we can go together if you'd like." Loki points to the classroom a few doors down. "It's right there."

"Sure, I'd like that." I answer cheerfully and follow him, relieved that I made a new friend.

Natsu, I miss you. I wish it were Friday. I think sadly, looking foreword to the date he's going to take me and wonder how it's going to turn out.
