Naiomi's POV

I stand by Sabe and the three other hand maidens as my sister Queen Amidala speaks to the Viceroy of the Trade Federation. My name is Naiomi Amidala, I have five years old and I can use the force like a Jedi. However, Padme (Queen Amidala) and our parents believe it is to dangerous for me to become a Jedi.  With an approaching war. So they have kept me hidden from the Jedi council.

"Again you come before me, Your highness. The Federation is pleased" Nute says.

"You will not be pleased when you hear what I have to say, Viceroy... Your trade boycott of our planet has ended" Padme tells him. He smirks.

"I was not aware of such a failure" he states.

"I have word that the Senate is finally voting on this blockade of yours" she tells him.

"I take it you know the outcome. I wonder why they bother to vote" Nute says.

"Enough of this pretense, Viceroy! I'm aware the Chancellor's Ambassadors are with you now, and that you have been commanded to reach a settlement" Padme states.

"I know nothing about any Ambassadors...you must be mistaken" Nute tells her.

"Beware Viceroy, the Federation is going too far this time" Padme tells him and the communication is terminated.

"Perhaps you should contact our Senator" I tell her.

"Yes Naiomi is right, something is not right here" the Captain states.

"How could that be true? I have assurances from the Chancellor... his Ambassadors did arrive. It must be the... get... negotiate" Senator Palpatine assures Padme as his hologram flickers. Suddenly his hologram starts to disappear and I grab Sabe's hand.

This has never happened before when I was with Padme. "Senator Palpatine?" Padme asks looking confused. "What's happening?" she asks looking at Governor Sio Bibble and Captain.

"Check the transmission generator" the captain of the guard tells one of his soldiers.

"Communication disruption, can mean only one thing" Sio Bible states. "Invasion" he states.

"Don't jump to conclusions, Governor. The Federation would not dare go that far" Padme states and that relaxes me. As long as she isn't worried then I'm ok. "We must continue to relay on negotiations" she tells the council.

"Negotiations, we've lost all communication" Sio Bibble reminds her. "And where are the Chancellor's ambassadors?" he asks everyone.

"Stop that Sio, you are scaring Naiomi" Sabe scolds him wrapping an arm around me. I think everyone just remembered I was in the room. Padme sends me a smile and holds out her hand. I walk over to her and she pulls me close.

"This is a dangerous situation your highness" the captain tells Padme quietly. "Our security team won't stand a chance against the whole Federation Army" he states.

"I will not condone a course of action that will lead us to war and threaten Naiomi's safety" Padme states. It was decided Sabe would take Padme's place as Queen for her own protection. As no one outside Naboo knows my sister's first name. So she will pretend to be a hand maiden.

"Padme are we going to be ok?" I ask as she changes her outfit behind a screen. I had already put my black hooded cloak on, with the hood up. Meanwhile Sabe was changing into black queen outfit with the help of the other three hand maidens.

"We'll be fine, I promised mother and father that you'd be safe with me. While at the palace" she states stepping out from behind the screen. "I'll never let anyone hurting you and remember only use the force as a last resort" she tells me.

"You're the best sister ever" I tell her and give her a hug.

"Come on, we must meet the others" she tells me and we hold hands as she leads me out of the room. We reached the others just as the Federation army arrived. "Everyone remember the plan" she tells them as she holds me closer. They all nodded their hands and Sabe lead us as she is now acting Queen.

We were soon captured by the droids and they were taking us to the Viceroy (Nute). "Stay close and don't say anything" Padme tells me quietly. I nod my head and try hide behind her as we went down the stairs.

"How will you explain this invasion to the senate?" Sio Bibble asks the Viceroy.

"The Queen and I will sign a treaty which will legitimize our occupation here" the Viceroy replies. "I have assurances it'll be rectified by the senate" he states.

"I'll sign no treaty" Sabe (Queen Amidala) states.

"Now now come on your highness, in time the suffering of your people will persuade you" the Viceroy states. I gulp and hid my face in Padme's side scared. "Commander" he says as a droid with a yellow head approaches us.

"Yes sir" it says.

"Process them" the Viceroy tells it.

"Captain take them to camp four" the droid tells an other one.

"Roger roger" it replies and leads us away from the Viceroy. We get outside and I see three armed tanks in the courtyard. Also an other group of people being lead by several armed droids. I held Padme's hand still as we walk beside the Captain Panaka.

We soon reach another courtyard and I sense something above us. So I look up to see an old man looking at us hiding behind a pillar. I tried to get Padme's attention to tell her. When he and a younger man drop down and destroy the droids with laser swords. The older man even used the force. They're jedis, I've never seen them before. I also see a Gungan with them.

"We should leave the streets your highness" the older one tells Sabe. Sio Bibble leads Sabe while Padme leads me. Captain and the guards retrieve the droids discarded weapons. "We're ambassadors for the Supreme Chancellor" the man states.

"Your negotiations seem to have failed ambassador" Sio states.

"The negotiations never took place" the man tells us. "It's urgent we make contact with the Republic" he adds.

"They've knocked out all our communications" Captain Panaka tells him.

"Do you have transport?" the man asks us.

"The queen's ship is in the main hanger" I tell the man.

"She's right, it's this way" Captain Panaka states. We then start heading to the main hanger with the two men in the lead. "There's to many of them" he states as we see all the droids in the hanger. Along with the pilots captured by the Queen's starship.

"Won't be a problem" the old man states. "Your highness under these circumstances I suggest you come to Coruscant with us" he tells Sabe.

"Thank you Ambassador, but my place is with my people" Sabe states like a true queen.

"They will kill you if you stay" he states.

"They wouldn't dare" I tell him and he looks at me. I hid my face in Padme's side and she wraps an arm around me. I've always been a little shy around strangers.

"It's true they need her to sign a treaty to make this invasion legal" Captain Panaka explains drawing the attention away from me. "They can't afford to kill her" he states.

"There is someone else behind this your highness. There's no logic in the Federations move here" he tells Sabe. "My feelings tell me they will destroy you" he adds. I clung to Padme scared for her and our people.

"Our only hope is for the senate to side with us" Sio Bibble states. "Senator Palpatine will need your help" he tells Sabe. Though I knew he was talking to Padme.

"Either choice represents great danger to us all" Sabe states looking at Padme and I.

"We are brave your highness" Padme tells her as she hold me close. I nod my head in agreement.

"If you are to leave your highness, it must be now" the man states.

"Then I will plead our case to the senate" Sabe declares. "Be careful Governor" she tells Sio as he was not coming with us. The man and the other ambassador lead us into the hanger.

"We need to free those pilots" the Captain tells the men.

"I'll handle that" the younger man states heading towards the droids guarding the pilots. While the older man was leading us to the starship. Padme held me close a commander droid approaches us.

"Halt" it tells us raising a hand and we stop.

"I am an ambassador to the Supreme Chancellor and I am taking these people to Coruscant" the man tells the droid.

"Where are you taking them?" the droid asks.

"To Coruscant" the man states.

"Coruscant, ah that doesn't compute" the droid states. "Ah wait ah you're under arrest" the droid tell us. The man takes out his green laser sword and starts destroying the droids. While the captain leads us to the ships open door.

But I notice a droid preparing to shot the man and react immediately. "No" I exclaim holding my hand out pushing the droid back. The man looks at me shocked as Captain Panaka pulls me into the ship. "I'm sorry Padme" I say as I hug her.

"It's ok you did the right thing" she assures me as she strokes my hair. We take off and we buckle up as we reach the blockade. This is the first time I have ever left Naboo and I was scared. "Don't worry I'll be right by your side or Sabe will be" Padme tells me gently. "Don't forget R3 is aboard" she reminds me. I smile R3 A1 is my astrodroid, he was a gift for my fifth birthday.

We made it through the blockade. Padme and I head to the throne room. Soon the two men arrived in the room where we all are. I now stand by Padme as we are about to be given a report on the damage we took.
